   I am NOT impressed with “bells and whistles”. This is a basic coffee maker that brews a good pot of coffee. I have had my Bunn coffee maker for MORE than TEN YEARS. It brews a pot faster than any other machine that I have owned. It uses the larger filters which are EASILY AVAILABLE IN ANY GROCERY STORE. If they are not there, go to a Costco/Sam’s Club/Smart & Final or equivalent. I have not noticed a HUGE increase in my electric bill, as a matter of fact, I have not had an increase in power consumption using this coffee maker over any other. The way that the power is used is different, but the total amount of power is about the same. So, you can buy a machine like this one for $100 to $160 for many years use or you can spend $50 to $100 for something else EVERY 6 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS (they usually break soon after the warranty runs out)——your choice.

   The spray head dislodges and the coffee filter overfills. This has occurred several times. I screw it in but it apparently dislodges itself after several uses. I re- screwed it in again. If it occurs again I will ask for a refund and return the coffee maker. My last Bunn coffeemaker never did this.
