After several consults with technical support to program the water pulse, flow settings, the grind of the coffee, the coffee maker continued to overflow and spew water and grounds. This was the same problem we had with an older version of the same machine. Not many options for the convenience of a plumbed machine that isn’t a huge commercial coffee maker, so this was very disappointing.

It overflows at the filter basket and spews hot water/ground lava over everything within 5 feet. We have used only BUNN filters, have tried 1/3 of the coffee that is recommended in the BUNN instructions, have tried every pulse setting, have used a mesh filter basket just for giggles, and no matter what it does this. Too much water dumps into the filter basket and it overflows it, every single time — Total junk
