   Nice item ,perfect size for me,the inside filter strain very well,keeps the liquids warm for probably an hour give or take,product was well packed and came out in good 2 perfect looking boxes(original put inside the shipping box). To answer some people it makes a scraping noise,when you move the filter plunger up and down,but that is normal and does not affect the functionality of the product. The only beef I have is,at least in my case,what happened with the quality check of the item,try to DO NOT rely on the chinese quality check,because it will happened what happened to my product.This is not from the transport ,this came from inside of the upper edge and made my item upper lip not round ,but kind of oval on the top edge lip,on the left of the handle.Do to the fact that the boxes they look good upon arrival,and that the lip was push towards outside from inside the item,my conclusion is that happened somwhere on the manufacturer watch.I retrieved 2 stars because of such a nice product, but somebody forgot to pay attention to the final product.

   Looks good, works great, and does keep the coffee warmer longer than single-wall glass. There’s nothing fancy about it other than the nice external appearance but it seems solid and I expect to use it for years.

   This was bought to replace a cheaper 12 cup cafetière we’ve had for several years. It’s only used when we have a houseful but you couldn’t put the plunger down without coffee spouting everywhere. We finally cracked over Easter and bought this. It’s the same make as our brilliant 8 cup which is in daily use. Really solid, makes good coffee which keeps hot and it will last for ever.

   By far the best coffee press I’ve owned. I’ve had some nice glass carafe presses, but they’ve all broken from some mishap or another. This stainless steel press is of very high quality and does a great job keeping my coffe warm throughout the morning. I have a similar double wall stainless mug that I use–it’s 16 oz and I fill it once and top it off after an hour. I’d venture the total volume of coffee I get is ~20 oz total.

   Have been using and ordering glass carafes for a decade. Either glass breaks, or plastic handles break. This is my first stainless steel carafe and I will never go back to glass. Been using it for two weeks and love it. Quality product.
   Well made, simple clean design. It came from UK and it had been opened for inspection at some point getting to US (maybe due to Covid??) It was not repackaged very well at all after inspection and if it was a glass product it surely would have broken getting here. But it suffered absolutely zero damage. Stainless steel for me from now on.

   I received this coffee press in less than 1 week from the UK to the US!
   I am very pleased with the quality of this coffee press. Every part of the coffee press is made of quality stainless steel.
   I really like the large size, and the 12 cup / 51 oz. is hard to find in a stainless steel press. I use it for loose leaf tea; it works great & I have a large pitcher of tea for 1-2 days! The filter works perfectly, and keeps the coffee or tea hot as long a time period as any breakable glass press.
   This is MUCH better than the Bodum glass 51 oz. French press of which the cheap plastic knob came loose in few days, and the thin glass beaker of the Bodum broke in a few months leaving me very dissatisfied. This Grunwerg is double walled stainless steel, ALL parts are stainless steel & will last a lifetime with reasonable minimal care. Also, the old Bodum plunger fits into this new Stainless pitcher so I can use it as a spare.
   I paid $69, and the quality is near equal to other stainless presses that sell for twice as much.

   Nachdem uns zwei Glas Frenchpresses gebrochen sind, haben wir uns für diese Kanne hier entschieden. Wir sind damit äußerst zufrieden. Solide, sieht gut aus wird nicht heiß, und sehr Pflege leicht. Und wenn es Mal runterfällt, dann hält es Mal sicherlich besser als Glas Kannen aus.

    Had other presses before this one. Others were made of glass. Others all broke. Decided I wanted one that would not break. This one is perfect. Great size, keeps the coffee hotter than the glass presses I had, easy to clean, looks nice, and won’t break like the glass ones! Highly recommend it for the person that wants a press for two small, or one large cup of coffee at a time.

    I purchased this French Coffee Press for my husband after he broke his Bodum Press (glass part got broken in the sink during the washing). This product is so much better: it is sturdy, looks very contemporary, is easy to wash, makes great coffee (use medium to coarse ground) and keeps it warm, because it has double wall insulation.
