   I ordered the chefman coffee maker on June 29, 2019, It lasted about a month. The puncture arm fell off it hinge. Every-time i make a cup of coffee I had to put the the arm back onto the hinge and pray it wouldn’t fall off. Many times I just got a cup of hot water. I finally decided to to order a new coffee maker. Just remember you get what you pay for.

   I’m very pleased With this coffee maker. Due to my health condition with MS and Osteoporosis my mornings becomes very difficult for me to be able to walk at all. Walking to the kitchen has become to be such a challenge for me due to my Illness. So I decided to purchase a single cup coffee maker to put on my night stand for my morning coffee craving. I was contemplating buying a Keurig but its so costly. This was verv reasonable at $29.00 And came fully equipped for coffee to use with kcups or ground coffee they provided everything. Works fabulous! I set it up at night and it’s perfect for my needs. I have a great cup of coffee while doing my morning therapy routine to start my mornings. I might be in chronic pain starting my mornings but having my freshly brewed coffee maker makes it more bearable! Love my Chefman coffee maker.

    I only had this Chefman coffee maker less than a year and the bottom of the mug gave out! All my coffee spewed out. I contacted Chefman and they couldn’t replace it as they said they are not making it anymore. Instead gave me an air fryer for the inconvenience. I was disappointed because I wanted a similar product to brew my coffee again. I won’t buy Chefman products anymore I find they are cheap in quality and don’t last long.

    I was a bit skeptical when I first decided to purchase it. I wasn’t convinced that it would actually work. It not only works I have a hot cup of coffee in a little over 60 seconds. I have been using it every morning for over a week now no issues. It is very easy to use. Pull it out of the box plug it in, pour in your water add a keurig cup and off you go. The Hazelnut is really yummy.

    I’ve always liked having coffee in the morning and was tired of having to go to a store to buy some, so I decided to invest in a coffee machine. I mostly drink cold frappes so I was looking for a machine with a frother option if I wanted to try making cappuccinos. The machine is slimmer than I expected and I like that it doesn’t take too much counter space. It brews both coffee grounds and cup pods so that was also one of the factors that led me to buy it. It’s easy to use and the instructions are simple. My only complaint would be that the froth function is a bit loud when used, but it works well. *Update* Suddenly stopped working after a month of use. Rating dropped from 5 stars to 3.

    This is the worst coffee maker EVER! When I first received it the piece inside was bent and constantly falls off its hooks, so when I try closing the lid to brew my coffee it’s off center. Most of the time I have to run the brewing cycle twice because the first time only water runs through and doesn’t hit the coffee pos at all. It’s going in the trash.

    We love this coffee machine. Ee have had no problems with ot at all. We like the sleek slim design. It fits very well in the corner of our bathroom vanity. Now we can enjoy coffee in our sleeping quarters again. We have a large nathroom and master bedroom suite. And really enjoy having a cup of coffee whenever we please. It/ours accepts all pods even the ones that have the foil on top and the baggy underneath. We did purchase a tall thermos for every day use with the machine since it does tend to splash. But it actually made the machine look even more sleek. This does not have a water reservoir for more than one cup. What you pour into the machine is what it brews in one shot. And yes… You can immediately brew another cup after the previous one is done. Just pour in water and push brew once again. It will blink when it brews/starts. Light will always be on. My old machine always needed a cool down time and most of the time refused to brew another. We would probably get this brand again for downstairs in the kitchen… But I would prefer for that one a reservoir. My only con: it is hard to read how many ounces of water you pour into it. But I just use a measuring cup for that. (It still deserved 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟) due to its price and what you get for that price. Extra pro: I would even take it with me to hotels. Beats paying a lot for a regular cup of coffee and having to wait in line and walk it back to the room. We used to have a mr. Coffee with a water reservoir. But it would not always give us the requested ounces. And the reservoir leaked. At a certain point…(we have had it though for 3 years) it just stopped working in total.

    We have only had this brewer less than two years. We only use it on weekends and holidays. This morning, after brewing a cup and sitting down to enjoy it, I heard a popping sound. When I went in to see what it was the coffee pot was on fire. Thankfully we were still home, and we had not done a brew and go type thing or the damage would have been significantly worse.

    If you are looking for an alternative to a Keurig coffee maker– this is it!
    I’ve had a total of 4 Keurigs and after the forth one broke I was done.

    I was super hesitant when I ordered this Chefman coffee maker, but it said it was compatible with all K-cups and I was frustrated and desperate so I gave it a shot.
    I had so many K-cups I didn’t want to throw away, and I love the convenience of making single-cup of coffee, so this was a great purchase.

    I wanted to wait some time before I wrote this review to make sure that the Chefman held up overtime — I’m over 6 months in and i’ve had no troubles at all!
    The one thing that differentiates this single-cup instabrewer from a Keurig, is that when I had my Keurig the liquid would spill out FAST all at once when it was ready. With this brewer, however, it’s almost like drip coffee. It starts dripping out quickly, but it takes awhile to fill the cup. I love this SO much more because drip coffee has more flavor since the water is taking it’s time to filter through the coffee grinds.

    I’m getting much more flavor out of my K-cups with this coffee maker and I’m so happy to finally be done with Keurig.
    Also, they send you a K-cup size cage, so you can can fill the cage with loose coffee grinds from any coffee of your choosing — you don’t need to have K-Cups. AWESOME!

    The one negative I will say is that there is minor splashing if you use a regular sized coffee mug like me as opposed to a traveler mug. It doesn’t bother me at all since it is so tiny, but if a bit of splashing may irritate you overtime — then this is a setback to consider.

    Usability: Super easy to use. I’ve attached a time-lapse video to this review so you can see just how simple it is! One button to press– that’s it! In the video you can also see the bit of splash I was talking about if you look closely. Very minor! But noticeable.

    Overall — I would highly recommend this coffeemaker to ANYONE, I’m so impressed by the price, considering it works so much better than all the old Keurig Minis I had, and it’s a fraction of the cost.

    So far the brewer is working nicely but unfortunately when I opened it up for the first time I noticed the filter has a hole in it on the bottom, Kinda disappointing since I bought this coffee maker to use grounds and k cups. I was sent a replacement filter but that one also is not usable because it has a slice down the side. I did not ask for another one after that because it seemed pointless, if the filters are that bad out of the box they probably would not last very long any ways. Would like to give this brewer a 5 star but I just couldn’t given that the filters you order for the brewer are very bad but at least I can still use if for k-cups.

    I loved this brewing equipment for about 2 weeks but then the closing (plastic) mechanism came off track (maybe it warped with the heat) and, despite my best efforts, would not reset when the brewer was closed. All I got was some hot water as the mechanism was channeling the water not through the pod but alongside it. Very disappointing. I’ve had to go back to an older backup brewer.

    We have not had this coffee maker long (2 months… used 2-4 times a week) and now it makes loud odd noises, overheats with so much steam coming out you think it’s on fire, and as of this morning all I get is nothing but water.     UPDATE to initial review: the spinning of the frother loosens the mug, and this mug is the only way the frother works. Needs reengineered to change direction of frother or direction the mug bottom twists off/on. Less than 2 months after buying this item, the frother stopped working completely. I loved this maker but now happy to replace with the reliable Keurig Latte maker. Chefman had a great idea, at a great price, just needs more work. When my Keurig needed replacing, I looked for what other options exist. I am giddy to have found & now own this well priced Froth & Brew! So easy & just as advertised. The only thing I had to learn through experience was to measure how much water to add to the tank when making a latte. (The coffee overfilled the mug when being dispensed on top of the froth – oops). I use almond milk with great success & am amazed I can make such decadent coffee at home! Pure delight.☕️ ❤️
