   It looks great in the pic n I thought since it got a battery it would heat up the water but no. I would be easy for me to make me a coffee with out buy this thing that don’t work. It’s easy to use but it sucks. The value for it it sucks cheap materials and the quality of the coffee it make it taste horrible plus cold if u put room temperature u need to put hot water to make it work and it’s portable and all but it suck’s and heat leave a zero.    I was so excited when I found this product and ordered it for I needed it for my coffee addiction for a trip I was taking. I was very disappointed when I went to use it and it worked exactly as described, except it never heated the water for my coffee.

   You’d expect for it to make hot water, but you need to add hot water from a different source. How portable and travel worthy is that?

   This portable coffee machine could definitely have benefited from having an internal heat up feature, it requires hot water in order to make your coffee. The only advantage is it works with K cups so you can just bring this with you camping, but you need to boil water. It also works with a K cup basket where you can put your own grounds in. This device works like your K cup machine, just pushes the water through the cup and out the other end, but the taste is not as bold as if it came out of a K cup coffee home unit, a bit weaker, but not bad (probably because the water is not hot enough, since you lose heat as you pour it from the kettle). And the top only has a capacity of 6oz, so for an 8oz cup, you would be ready to add another 2oz before the water runs out for a full 8oz.

    This portable coffee maker is actually useless for travel. I bought it for coffees on the road. But you have to add boiled water. Well where would I get boiled water from? I wanted one unit that heats water and makes a cup of coffee. Seems like a pretty basic desire. But this product did not deliver. Maybe if you also own a portable kettle you will love this device. Not me. Returned it and got my refund right away.
