   This is my second Chullux. My first one was temperamental when filling the water reservoir and I attributed it to be a fluke for that particular device. But my second one is the same. It’s a nice surprise when the water goes in like the machine is thirsty.

   This item is one cup at a time coffee maker with limited cup size of 12 ounces. The water is poured thru a filter in the tank inside the unit that can’t be removed or cleaned, so please keep filter in water fill hole. They do give you the choice of using K cups or the included K-pod to use your own coffee. This item is very simple to use raise lid by turning the grey knob on top to unlock lid and add water and pod. Then click button on side of machine and it starts. In picture 3 I included the pamphlet that shows the color choices they have for this small coffee maker. The last limit is the height of the mug you can use which is about 4 1/2 inches to keep nozzle out of cup. I use a wider cup that’s 4 inches tall and holds 14 ounces and everything works great and lets me add creamer with that extra room. Overall, 4 stars for variety and item included. Would have been 5 stars if the water tank was cleanable and replaceable.

   This is a great little single serve coffee maker. It’s easy to use and clean. You unlock and open the lid and pour your cupful of water into the tank. You can either use a disposable brand name coffee pod or you can use the reusable cup with your own coffee grounds to brew your coffee. I timed it and it took 2 minutes and 20 seconds from cold tap water to brewed cup of coffee. The metal drip tray at the bottom pops out for easy clean up. We drink different kinds of coffee in this house so now everybody gets what they want. Really happy with this.

   I don’t drink coffee, but my wife wanted something compact for our RV, and this Chulux seemed to get good reviews. My wife favors Dunks vs Starbucks because it’s too strong. We experimented with various amounts and types of ground coffee and she had to switch to dark roast because all others seemed too weak, even the K-cups. From what I’ve read, that depends on the brew time, which directly affects how much of the coffee grounds get “used”. We also experimented with various quantities of water and found that 10-12oz was the sweet spot. A 16oz mug was way too diluted. She dilutes the coffee with too much half and half in my opinion, so take all this with a grain of coffee… But for the price it does a great job in our RV and gets used by her every day without any more complaints…

   This does a lot of things right, it’s compact, easy to use and is inexpensive. I like that it comes with a basket for coffee pods. The downside is the water tank is small, there isn’t a way to clean it, and filling it is awkward unless you are using a bottle of water. If you want a cheap way to brew coffee pods this does the job, but there are better options.

   When I first saw this, I thought of the coffee makers you see in hotels now adays. They are easy to use without fuss and a simple one button operation. This is very similar. It is able to use keurig cups, and regular coffee grounds by using the included basket. However, the place where the water goes could have been designed better… There is no fill line, or way to monitor how much water you are adding. This is a bummer, because almost everytime I use my mug, I end up spilling some. This is why you see a measuring cup in one of the pictures. Ultimately, I’d prefer to pour straight from the britta pitcher. Once you add your coffee and water though, the press of a button will give you a cup of coffee in 2-3 minutes. This is the selling point for me. There are many ways to make coffee and they all effect the overall taste. That said, this taste okay. The temperature is where you’d like it to be as well. At this price point, I think they could have added some form of measurement for the resevoir. I would have also like to have seen a way to remove the resevoir for cleaning. If these things do not bother you, then it may suit your needs just fine.

    Everything that comes out of this has tasted great. However, I’ve had trouble getting it to work and I’ve followed all the directions! I even cleaned it out too. I’ve pushed the business and had to come back because nothing flowed through. Other than that it’s user friendly and simple to clean. Mine might be defective? Has simple to read instructions posted right on the side. Takes a long time to warm up, so be patient.

    This coffee maker is small and space saver, this will be perfect for camper or for small apartment with limited space. It fits the standard size coffee pod, and it also came with reusable filter for ground coffee. The cup holder base accommodates standard size cup. It brews coffee good, it takes awhile to heat up the water and turns off after brewing.

    The single serve k-cup coffee maker is the perfect size for a dorm room, or if you have limited counter space. I love the sleek design. Just as good, if not better than, a much more expensive option. Easy to use and clean. Small enough to take anywhere. You cannot select a mug size like you can with other single serve coffeemakers. You’ll need to make sure you measure out the right amount of water, so you don’t have too little or an overflowing cup of coffee. Highly recommend!
