   I wanted to save a lot of money by making my own cold brew. The ones I’ve purchased before where ok, but this one hits the mark.
   The screen cone that holds the coffee doesn’t let anything out. I’ve been using fine ground and I never have the grounds in the coffee. The glass jar is super sturdy and so is the lid and handle. It holds a decent amount of coffee. I make it strong so I can add more water to make it last longer. Which in the end, doesn’t take away from the taste of it. I highly recommend it!

   I love a lunchtime coffee but I prefer it to be cold, cold brew is obviously great for that. The lid which feels like very cheap plastic, is a little disappointing but the rest of the jar is great. The glass is big enough to allow you to make enough coffee for a couple of days and the filter is made of stainless steel. It also comes with a handy metal mixing spoon. Overall this is great for those new to cold brewing or as a gift.

   I made my first batch of cold brew coffee today and it taste amazing. I never had cold brew before so nothing to compare it to. I followed the included directions with a coarse grind medium roast coffee bean. The directions called for 8/1 ratio so I geeked it and weighed my water in grams and did the math for the grinds 🤣. Ends up I couldn’t quite get all the grinds in the filter so I went with 90%. The water pour was medium slow but the included tool helped with that. I let it steep at room temperature about 74f for 11 hours. It tastes full body and no bitter. I will definitely make this regularly and could see it being used for iced coffee.

   This cold brew maker is easy to use and makes great coffee! I love getting coffee at coffee shops, and tend to prefer it to making it at home. But, this has been a game changer! The size is perfect! It makes several days worth of cold brew and the handle is thick enough that I don’t feel like it is going to break when I pour it. It is easy to clean and heavy duty. 10/10 recommend!

   I use this probably once a week for my coffee every few days. I use 1 cup (ish) of coarse grounds and let it sit for 12 hours/overnight. Comes out great, strong and not super acidic. Holds a good amount of cold brew for one person. The handle feels sturdy enough, but I cant see why some would be worried about breaking.

   My order arrived without the filter. Essentially this a mason jar with a water bottle top since it cant be used to brew coffee without the filter. I contacted the vendor and they shipped me the part that was missing from my cold brew kit. I have been making cold brew coffee with it for a couple weeks and it has been working great. It is very easy to use. Just fill the mesh filter with ground coffee and add water. I have been leaving the coffee overnight and removing the filter the next morning. The coffee comes out strong enough that once I remove the filter I can top up the jar with water and not end with diluted tasting cold brew. The only downside is that this uses a lot of coffee for the amount of coffee it makes when compared to brewing hot coffee. Overall I think its well worth the cost though when compared to the cost of buying pre made cold brew. If it had not been for my issues with the missing filter I would have rated this five stars.

    I’ve had a couple cold brew jars in the past and this one is definitely my favorite so far. Stands a little taller than a half gallon milk carton and has about the same footprint so it fits well in the fridge. Jar is heavy duty mason jar style and not thin glass as my previous ones were. Kate has measure marks if needed but I just fill it all the way up every evening for fresh cold brew in the morning. The real nice part of this is the conical shaped heavy gauge very fine mesh filter. This isn’t the typical flimsy fine mesh screen that gets all buggered up and bent really quickly. It’s a rigid fine mesh stainless wire design. That’s a great detail that I appreciate. The handled lid with the v notch spout makes for an easy smooth pour. Lid has a gasket style liner for a nice tight drip proof fit. Also comes with a nice long thin spoon to stir your grinds and get your coffee brewing. The only thing this really needs is an easy way to transfer your grinds from your grinder to the filter. Luckily I have some canning funnels on hand and they work great. Otherwise it’s a little difficult to not get grinds everywhere trying to fill. Check out my video for a visual reference on that technique. Fantastic cold brew kit. Perfect for sweet tea, ginger lemon water, cucumber water or just about any infused brew you like. Planning on picking up another one dedicated to non coffee infused beverages.     I really like the size of this cold brew pitcher and that it is compatible with my other mason lids. I love that when I am not using this pitcher for cold brew it also serves a multi purpose. in order to get the strongest coffee, I need to fill the grinds up pretty high. I am still tinkering around with the recipe of how much coffee grinds to put with water but I do let the coffee sit overnight for at least 12 hours to make a cold brew. I’m testing to see if I can make a very concentrated version that I can still pour over to make my iced flavored coffee. Overall, this is a great purchase that fits well on my refrigerator door and I love the convenience of having ice cold coffee when I need it.

    This has saved me so much money by brewing my own cold brew and skipping the Starbucks line and ridiculous prices. I brew for 10-12 hours and this jar will last me my whole work week. The jar itself is very easy to clean, the filter can get a little annoying to get the grounds out. The size is perfect for me, the lid and handle feel a little flimsy while holding it, so I tend to always place my hand underneath the jar when I carry it fearing the handle is going to break. The spoon it’s advertised with was missing from my package, so I was a little annoyed by that, you definitely need a long skinny spoon to stir in the grounds while pouring the water in. Overall I’m really liking this!

    Was immediately impressed with this cold brew mason jar set. Comes in a plain brown box but packaged very well. Mason jar seems high quality and works well with other standard lids, and the black plastic flit top lid feels sturdy…although on mine the flip top seems quite easy to open compared to other similar lids I’ve tried. The stainless mesh is quite nice…feels very sturdy and doesn’t collapse or bend easily. The small stirring spoon is pretty basic, but also quite sturdy as it’s solid metal.

    I like making cold brew coffee, since it’s so inexpensive compared to buying store brands. I own another cold brew jug and filter, but this one is much larger at 64 ounces. The mesh filter is strong and sturdy, and the mesh is ultra fine. The instructions say to use a 1:8 ratio of coffee to water, and to steep the brew for at least 12 hours. The jug comes with a stainless steel mixing spoon, which is handy if you want to stir in sweetener or milk after brewing. My one minor issue is the plastic cap on this jug. The handle does bend when the jug is full, so I also support the jug from the bottom. Also, the pouring cap should snap a bit tighter, in my opinion. It does stay closed, but it’s a soft close and feels like it might get loose over time. This jug can be used to make coffee or tea. I’ll be using it for sun tea in the summer months. Definitely recommend!

    Cold Brew Maker This thing is fantastic. My old one broke. It was cheap and from Aldi. This thing is substantial! The jar is nice and thick glass. The top/handle feels secure. The filter is a great size. I even like the stir stick though I didn’t think I’d use it. I thought I wanted a larger size but this fits in the door of my fridge leaving more room in the main fridge. I love that! Number one: everything is dishwasher SAFE! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 It’s 2024. Ain’t nobody got time to hand wash anything. The directions were clear and made a great jar of cold brew.     I bought this to make iced tea. I don’t use the cold brew method as my personal opinion is that the flavor is better if you start with a hot brew. I pack the infuser with whatever tea we are in the mood for. I typically use several tea bags of a nice strong English black tea (Yorkshire is my favorite brand) and then add several tea bags or several teaspoons of flavored tea. I use my electric tea maker to boil the water; it takes one full kettle & about 1/2 kettle to fill this container. I let it brew for several hours, then remove the infuser, add the cap & refrigerate. We then pour out some into a drink container with ice, a little plain water & lemon juice & sugar to taste. The tea will last the 2 of us a few days. It’s easy to make and the cap with the handle makes it sturdy enough to pour into a drink container. I am so glad I bought this. It has made making iced tea easy & fast.

    There are a few dozen of this exact thing on coffeemakers.us.com ranging over $30… its all the same thing. It is a jar with a metal filter and handled lid. they just put the parts in a package for us.

    -Jar is a Jar. just a big glass jar, not too heavy.
    -Filter is nice. I dumped a mix of coffee grinds (testing grinder coarseness levels) and nothing got through.
    -Lid with a handle… is a lid, with a handle. feels sturdy enough and does not seem to bend or creek under weight.
    -The whole thing is roughly the size of a juice jug, so fits in the fridge nicely.

    It is a simple and effective design. And if you can find it cheaper its all the same.
