   The company met my product search demands it just turns out my demands were unwise.

   The filter is great. But it doesn’t reach to the bottom of the vessel, so you must make large amounts each time. Also, cold brew consumes tremendous quantities of coffee, at least if you follow the instructions here. Not worth it imo. When full and cold the vessel is begging to be shattered. It naturally acquires condensation and that makes the whole thing slick. I see now why all the other versions of this concept have handles. I just didn’t think it through.

   You can use the filter solo though in something like a travel mug kinda like a french press and that is pretty awesome. And the bottle is pretty so I’ll use it for something else.

   The lid is hollow and the glass is thin. Even the rubber seals are extra soft and thin. It all works, it’s just got a flimsy fragile feel to it. Nothing about it is awful though, solid 4 stars.

   It’s compact and easy to use, a great modern look and feel. It needs a full 24 hours of brewing on the counter to make 32oz. for a full bodied coffee. Moves from counter into the refrigerator once you remove the filter. I find even with the coarse grind you get some residue, but it doesn’t bother me to drink. I’ve enjoyed it cold, and reheated.
