   As a coffee drinker for 55 years using MANY methods to try to make my organic coffee taste the best – I must say this is the best method. The Stainless steel filter alone is worth the price! Now I only use 4 scoops not 5 of expensive organic LOW ACID JustUs Fair Trade French coffee for every “8-cup” = 3 x 12oz mugs.

   It is essential to look after the filter as I don’t know how to replace it so I hot-water-rinse the filter right after I use it so it does not dry out and get clogged up. I also immediately hand wash the beautiful borosilicate carafe so it does not get that “greasy” look from the coffee oils that require scrubbing, Javex, or an automatic dishwasher.

   This coffee maker works well. I can make up to 4 cups of coffee in it. It is also attractive and looks good on the counter. The metal filter allows some of the grounds through so if you want a clean cup you might want to use a paper filter. Otherwise just don’t pour the last little bit of coffee into the cups.

   I prefer pour-over to other styles of brewing coffee, and this carafe and filter combo looked exactly like what I was looking for. And it was, for a while. I could tell as soon as I opened the box that the carafe is awkward and extremely fragile. At six weeks it broke when it got bunked by a jar while it sat in the sink. It was one part my fault and two parts the carafe’s thin glass. The good side is I keep the filter, which makes excellent coffee. I use it now with a French-press-style beaker, a much sturdier alternative. The coffee is just as fine as with the original carafe, so no regrets

   Love this teapot. It heats water super fast. I use it multiple times a day. Love the carafe. I will never go back to Keurig. So much plastic and waste before for a subpar cup of coffee. This coffee tastes amazing. Make sure to get a coffee scale as well. 30g of ground coffee to 500g of water makes the perfect 18oz cup of coffee. It take close to 5min to slow pour which I was concerned I may not like but it’s so worth it I actually look forward to doing it in the morning.

   Used this carafe to make pour over coffee only 4 or 5 times before it broke. I must have been sleepy one morning and after pouring my coffee went to rinse the carafe in the sink. I slightly hit the bottom edge of the carafe against my counter in front of the sink and popped a hole in it. I since ordered another less expensive one, since I figured this might happen again. This carafe is definitely more favorable though, with the metal strainer and the wood collar, which I can easily get my hand around. The replacement has a larger collar made of cork and isn’t as easy to hold and comes with a cheap plastic strainer. Lesson learned. Be careful with this one!

    I don’t like my boiling hot coffee water running through plastic parts. I’ve been using a French press for years but gave this a try when a friend recommended it. The coffee quality is similar to the French press, and the cleanup time is a fraction of a French press. I highly recommend this with the same brand glass tea/coffee water kettle.

    After a kitchen remodel, I wanted a small coffee maker that wouldn’t take up lots of room on the counter or block the under-cabinet lights. I read a review that said this was a great coffeemaker at less cost than the Chemex. It’s big enough to make two large mugs of coffee that taste great. It took a few tries to get the amount of coffee grounds right…turns out I use the same amount as my old electric coffeemaker. It’s easy to clean and looks nice sitting on my new custom-made wood “coffee station.” (I also bought a 10 cup Bialetti New Venus for my new induction stove because, why not?) I highly recommend this coffeemaker.

I could tell the filter was starting to deteriorate about a few months later but today while hand washing the filter the top popped off on its own.     I sent this to my sister as a gift. Months later, she asked if It was a used item. When I told her no, she made me aware that the filter and carafe had dried coffee used coffee inside. She showed me the box, which still has powdering grinds everywhere. Sadly because she thought it was bought used, she didn’t take a photo of the product at the time and had to wash it herself. Disgusting and unacceptable.

    I liked it, although there is some sediment in the coffee, but I was happy using this instead of a Chemex paper filter. I bought this on July 21st, 2024. It is now September 16th of the same year, and look what happened. So the filter, which I loved, is a POS. So, be prepared to upgrade the filter.

    I like this carafe. It’s very nice. Several weeks after purchasing, however, I’ve noticed that the wood has warped and one of the wooden halves has jutted out of alignment by about 3/8” to where I can slip my finger between the glass and wood. This is dangerous and could end up with breakage if someone were to squeeze the wood.

    We used it about months and glass is cracked by itself. You buy Corsori products thinking that it is a good quality but it is not. They don’t stand behind their products, customers service never replied me back on my emails and phone calls. In comparison we bought similar coffee maker glass product from Walmart much cheaper, still holds and works. This Corsori product is cheaply made like others non marked brands so better to choose those for cheaper price.

    Durable. Useful. Pretty. Wash both carafe & strainer by hand. Simple to use, simple to clean. The strainer definitely slow drips the coffee, but that’s fine by me – while it does that, I organize breakfast or take care of my dog or switch laundry; something for a few mins while it does it’s thing. Keeps it pretty warm, too.

    The metal filter broke in less than a year. The handle dislodged completely from the filter during a routine cleaning after a light tap. Coffee brews relatively well but coffee is chalky with some fine grounds. This is to be expected from a metal filter.

    I did enjoy using this product. Purchased for $29.99 in January 2023, I have used this thing nearly every day since. Same formula: add grounds, pour hot water, let it brew, dump grounds and clean filter, and rinse the pot. Simple design for a simple product. The reusable filter is nice, and the pot has a nice little design, actually worked as a conversation starter around guests a couple of times. Easy to clean the filter and easy to take off the wood handholds for washing. Unfortunately, after only 10 months of use, when pouring the hot water into the filter, the base of the glass cracked (you can sorta see it in the picture, cracked up the side and all across the base). The pot itself was not cold, it was sitting on the counter at room temperature. (Not sure about that “heat resistant glass” advertised in the product description.) For 30 bucks, you shouldn’t expect to be passing it down to your grandkids. However, for my 30 bucks I definitely expected longer than 10 months. If this product was 15 bucks instead, I’d probably be okay with a 10 month life cycle, frankly.

    I like this little pot. The coffee tastes fantastic. Works best with the Cosori gooseneck kettle. 4 stars though, as the reality is that it only holds about 3 medium cups of coffee. So, not convenient for company, but perfect for one or two people. The coffee from our plastic coffeemaker was not good enough. This pot you have to make manually. I actually enjoy the 5 peaceful minutes of doing nothing but watching the coffee drip and the aroma of fresh coffee. Comes with a really good permanent filter but I prefer using natural #2 cone filters along with it for an even better taste and zero sediment at the bottom.
