   Nice basic coffee pot. Clean and compact looking. Works great. I couldn’t figure out how to change the time programming from 24 hour clock to a 12 hour clock but that’s a minor setback that I’ll eventually figure out.

   The clock on this unit only runs in military time – I.E., when it’s 10:30 PM, the clock reads “22:30” instead of 10:30 PM. There is no way to change this, and this quirk seems to not be disclosed in the product description or the instructions. I like all of my clocks to run on 12-hour time, especially in the kitchen. I have a Keurig machine that can do this – not sure why this machine can’t.

   Additionally, there is some blue plastic hanging out of a crease between the control panel and the silver trim on the front of the unit that I couldn’t pull away. It seems to be stuck to the inside of the unit somewhere and had escaped through the crease, but was anchored to whatever is behind the crease so there’s no way to fully pull it away and it will always be visible as a blue interruption to an otherwise silver and black facade.

   Cuckoo needs to think through these better, and do better QC on the final products, before they start distributing.

   This is very similar to my Krups brewer that is old and starting to fall apart. I like the basket style coffee makers as this one is, more of a V shape than a bucket. I’m not a fan of the “permanent” filters, I like using the Melita #2 brown paper disposables. Seems to me that the paper filters provide a better brew but it’s a personal choice – at least a filter comes with it.

   This is a 10 cup coffee maker, works great for me as I only need to make 6 cups a day. Easy to pour in the water, lights work (as does the timer) and bottom line is that it makes a great cup of coffee! Highly recommend.

   This coffee maker offers a straightforward user experience, with an operation so simple that I sometimes wish it featured more functions. Its sleek design complements my Breville Barista espresso machine nicely. While it comes with a washable mesh filter, I recommend using a disposable paper filter for easier cleaning.

   Picked this up to replace the coffee maker that my boyfriend uses everyday. It’s got the ability for programming, and I thought that would give him the ability to sleep in a little bit more before he heads into work.

   It’s easy to use, feels sturdy and looks very sleek on the countertop. Overall it’s a great coffee maker for the price.

   I bought this coffee maker for my son’s new home, and it has been fantastic! The quality is excellent, with a sturdy build and a sleek design that looks great on the counter. It’s easy to use, and the programmable timer is a great feature for having coffee ready in the morning.

   The two brew strength settings allow for customization, and the reusable mesh filter is a nice touch, saving money on paper filters — my sons favorite part. The glass pot pours smoothly without dripping. Overall, this is a well-made, reliable coffee maker—my son loves it, and I highly recommend it!

   I really enjoyed my first pot of coffee from this. It’s very easy to use and I made it without choosing the strong option and the coffee was strong enough for my taste. My previous coffee maker was a 14 cup cuisinart and I like that this takes up less countertop space both height and width wise. I’d prefer if the plastic top covering the glass carafe covered a larger portion of the top. There’s a wide open space for the coffee to lose heat more quickly. Also, the current selling price at $70 puts this in cuisinart territory and I’d go with a cuisinart over this but if this were $55 or less I’d give this 5 stars.

   I know the Cuckoo brand best from their excellent line of very durable rice makers, so I jumped at the chance to try out their coffee maker.

   First impressions: It is a very clean modern design, black with brushed stainless-steel wrap-around accents, 10-Cup capacity and a permanent cone filter basket. It is slightly smaller than our old one, which is great because it fits much better under our upper cabinets. It has a clock, two brew cycles [regular and strong], and some programming options – it is all very simple [not gimmicky or complex]. Our first cup of coffee was delicious. My wife especially likes the carafe’s handle – says it really fits her hand very well.

   We are happy with our new Cuckoo coffee maker. We like its design – it has attractive clean lines and subtle character, plus it sits well on our worktop. And best of all, it makes a really nice cup of coffee!

   This coffeemaker from Cuckoo is a nice looking device and performs as expected. Nothing complicated about the technology in this coffeemaker- water drips down and soaks thru coffee grounds and down to the glass carafe. The water drip spout has six holes that water drips down from. There is a “strong” brew option, which takes longer to brew a coffee- like maybe 2 times longer. The stainless steel and black trim is nice looking. The coffee this makes is about the same as any other cheap coffeemaker so I deducted 1 star because its too expensive at $69 on coffeemakers.us.com when you can buy a cheaper maker that performs the same.
