   I love everything about this coffee maker, especially that there’s no carafe to break! The full – empty gauge is so good. However…the dispenser light never worked. Took it apart, and it’s impossible to fix or replace. As others have said, the extra filter doesn’t fit this model (and it’s impossible to return it.) Wasteful!

   Coffee stays hot but doesn’t cook like it does in a carafe. Cord is too short to pull the coffee maker out from under cupboards to add water and coffee. Geniuses who designed and approved obviously don’t make coffee at home.

   For years I had another brand of dispensing coffee maker and had to buy a new pot every 2 years because they would wear out. I am curious to see how this coffee maker hold up to daily use. The reviews stated various things other found wrong with this maker. First and foremost is the fact that the cord is much longer than the 5 inches (or about) that several complained about. It states in the instructions it is stored inside the housing and you need to pull it out. As for leaking some others have complained about, my counter has remained dry. IF you overfill the coffee maker there is an overflow routed to the drip tray. That ray is small and holds enough for normal drips but depends how much you overfill the pot if it would hold the entire overflow. The dispensing light is a nice feature. I often start my day in the dark and do not turn on lights until needed. With this light I am able to see how full my first cup is. The coffee in the reservoir remains hot for the full 4 hours. If you need your coffee boiling hot, my advice is get a 1 cup coffee maker. So far I am impressed with this coffee maker and hope it lasts more than a year.

   we just got the machine just two days ago, it’s taking some time to get it figured out. It is Night and Day better than the H-Beach version of this machine. Love the gauge in front showing how much coffee is left to drink. The clear plastic water reservoir is also nice to see how much left to brew. The distance from the drip tray to the filler nozzle it to short for MY coffee cup, I have to remove the drip tray to fill my cup. Still trying to find the right amount of grounds because the same we used in the other machine is way to weak for this machine. I like the fact that this machine is twice as heavy as the other one, so you don’t have to hold on to the machine to dispense coffee.

   I’ve always had the Hamilton Beach version. Wanted to try something else. A little on the pricy side, but it is well worth it. The water reservoir is a sturdy acrylic. The coffee reservoir is easy to remove to empty, and rinse. You place your coffee on the ledge, and you press a lever that lights up your cup while it pours. The Brewed Coffee is much hotter that the Hamilton Beach. The basket has a handle that I removed, as it would catch the used grounds with filter when emptying, and make a mess. Also weird that the plug is super short, but I bought a 2 ft long black extension cord that works fine. Even with these flaws, I love this coffee maker!

   Love this coffee maker! No carafe to clean & easy cleaning between brews.
   * The permanent coffee filter that they sell with this, does not fit this coffee maker. Best price with extra filter though. I would buy this one again!!

   Great coffee maker. Yes, the filter included in the bundle does NOT fit this product. But the bundle is $40 cheaper than the coffee maker is by itself. So you can use the filter in another maker, toss it in the trash, or just do what I did and return it and get a refund. We’ve had this product before. It lasts a few years before giving it up, but does the trick until then. If you want a good, non-carafe coffee maker this will do the trick.

   TOTALLY RECOMMENDED. I BOUGHT OTHERS FOR GIFTS AND GOT RAVE REVIEWS FROM GIFT RECEIVERS. YOU CANNOT MAKE A BETTER CHOICE FOR THE MONEY.
