   Milk nozzle is a bit short and not a great one. If you are dreaming about latte arts and silky smooth milk you migth struggle a bit. Also it is not brewing a very hot cup of espresso. Despide all that for this price range its a OK machine. Ps. Mine had its buttons installed reverse. I kept it bcs its funny and it works but you have been warned.

   I have had 3 different issues in 9 months of ownership. The previous six months, the machine got used 1 week a month due to work travel so not being over used or commercially used.

   First issue. Out of the box, the steam feature didn’t work, upon investigation, there was a hose inside the unit that did not have clamp on and kept blowing off when I tried to use the wand. I used a very small zip tie to fasten. Fixed issue myself.

   Second issue occurred 3 months later when the LED display went dark. This didn’t effect the functionality of the unit so I left it.

   3rd issue, 9 months after purchase. The machine heats up water but will not brew or steam. The machine gets hot, very hot but will not function. I could possibly replace a component or thermostat in an attempt to throw darts at a board for a fix, but I’m done. Different brand all together.

   This machine is junk! Stopped working after 4 months. Tried cleaning it 2 times to see if it was clogged. Still doesn’t work. It just blinks and the water never reaches the temp to select the size cup. Contacted coffeemakers.us.com CS sent pics of machine and have not gotten the issue resolved. So much money for nothing! Not to mention it was a gift. Very upset

   Do not buy! I received the box today it was already open and torn, it seemed like a previous label was cut off. When I opened the box to inspect the machine the bags where torn open, nothing was sealed. The actual machine was clearly used; there was still coffee grounds on the filters and scopper. It was absolutely disgusting. I am returning it tomorrow and getting a full refund. Don’t waist your money! but most important your time having to go back and return this garbage.

   I ordered it new and received a used or refurbished one, it came out of the box with stains on the drip tray. I was skeptical until I flushed it with water for the first time and espresso grounds came out. There was a dent in the side of the unit, and to top it all off it leaks everywhere.

   This machine was tough and inefficient to use before it exploded in my face. I tried many times to get the perfect cup but the machine was clumsy and the expresso was weak. After about a week of use, the machine redirected pressure while brewing to underneath the cup, sending the expresso and cup shooting off my face, onto the floor. I was burned by the expresso and my floor was damaged. I’ve filed for a refund but imagine I will not hear a bit of empathy about my floor or the time I’ve wasted now even writing this. The least I can do is save others… Don’t buy this junk.

   Can’t speak for the espresso itself but not off to a great start when one of the buttons is supposed to show a single cup picture to represent the single cup option. Also whichever one is the left side is upside down. A little annoying because it is way past returning by the time I opened it from my bridal shower. If gevi wants to mail me new stickers I won’t be upset 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Did not come with the measuring spoon/tamper. I thought I was purchasing a new product but suspect it has been used. It was not clean. The machine only brews about every third time you push the button to brew. The double shot only ends up being not quite 3oz. I emailed the company to notify of missing parts the received a reply that they were out of the office until Feb 10th then replies would be very slow when they return!

    Gevi machine makes delicious espresso. I grind PEETS coffee beans and made a very delicious espresso 2 shots cup. Foamy and tasty. Go for it. I love it myself

    Look at that nice foam head, I can’t complain about anything so far. If you complain about how hot it is wait longer before brewing and it’s will get hotter. It’s not loud at all and is very easy to clean. I’m using a friends and still waiting for mine to arrive… its a great machine

    I went through 3 espresso machines in less than a year about 3 years ago. My first a cuisinart gave me problems from day 1 and then died after 5 months, so I returned it to BB&B. Then I purchased a $200 De Longhi-died after 3 months. Replaced with exact same one-died after a couple days. So I went to a French press for close to one year. Then back to a regular coffee pot. Well it had been a couple years and I decided to look on here and kept seeing the GEVI bc the price was on the money and the ratings seemed good. I have had it since December with Zero issues. It is absolutely user friendly, easy to handle, easy to fill, easy to clean. I am super happy with this brand. This is the right one for you too if you are looking for costs effective, its so much more though.

    Screen came looking scuffed up. And the filter is super difficult to turn into the locked position. You have to grab the whole machine to get it into the right position. BUT the steam wand works well and the espresso comes out tasting good. I saw someone else’s review about it being hard to turn the espresso to the locked position and they drilled the matching into a heavy cutting board. I might try that. Overall, not bad for an affordable espresso machine. 4/24/22 Updating my review. I’ve had this for a while now and I added one more star because it has been working great and is worth the price! Makes nice lattes and I didn’t have to spend over $200. Also, I was able to clean the screen off, so looks great now. Very easy to use and to clean. Obviously, not the best machine out there but it is great for the price. I still have to grip the machine to take the espresso cup in and out of the machine, but it’s not too big of a deal.

    If it’s not working you’re not using it right. I had a ton of water in the portafilter when I was done brewing. Took me forever to figure out what was going on. It was user error. I googled it and found that I was not filling it up enough. I thought I was over filling it and would take some out. I have a photo here showing when it’s full. It looks to full but trust me it’s not. I have used this machine 2 times a day since December 31st and it’s mid February no issues great coffee each and every time. If you want a very hot express you might have to heat yours in the microwave. I get a hot latte from the frothing milk as I wait until the milk is so hot it will almost burn you and part that in my coffee. Makes great latte’s As for the coffee it’s great! the Doreen I the clear cup side view it just coffee. I noticed there were multiple reviews of different coffee makers under the this one that are not the same. I like when people put the photos so you know for sure it’s the right product being reviewed. So I put the photo from coffeemakers.us.com on here. I did by the clear double walked coffee cups so cute. As for the cup warmer NOT. It’s warm but not warm enough for anything so just ignore that part but it’s totally not a deal breaker. This machine is great and looks nice on your counter. Easy to clean and use.

    As a latte lover, I was so happy to find this espresso maker with the milk frother for such a reasonable price! This machine is all around great. It’s not cheaply made, makes GREAT espresso, and is fairly easy to clean! The only problem is you may have to scrub the frother if you let the milk dry on there, but that’s no biggie! This is so simple to use and so awesome to have in my kitchen! It’s maybe a foot long, a little over half a foot wide, and about a foot tall so it doesn’t take up much space at all while still delivering a quality service. BUY IT!!
