   Introduction: Hello, I really enjoyed French Press Coffee & Tea Maker Complete Bundle while there is not one reason that a good thing. The first thing I enjoy is the shape there not much that can go wrong when you have fewer parts to worry about. There were two main parts that you have to worry about the base is one the other was the press. It easy to clean would be the next part like I said two parts two the press the base and the press makes it really easy to clean. Those parts there make the French Press Coffee & Tea Maker a pleasure to own. First reason to buy: The shape The shape is simple you have the base were the coffee or tea goes in and then you have the press one is a metal base with a glass component makes getting your coffee/tea easy in and easy out . The biggest con with the shape is too clean it right around the press filter the reason is you have too almost take part the press part just to get it clean. Second reason to buy: There is only two parts The first part is the base nothing more nothing less so you just pour coffee/tea no mess no fuss the press part is just a round plug with a stick. That it no moving parts you just press the tea/coffee and your done, again the issue because the cleaning part of the machine. You have to take each part of the press and spread it out and sometimes off yet small price to pay. Third reason to buy: Easy to use The device is easy to use to the point that beyond cleaning there will not be much you have to complain about. Which is a good thing considering the problems with cleaning most of the time cleaning is just rinsing and that it your done. Yet there some issues that I will talk about in the next section. Forth reason to buy: Cleaning Clean is fairly simple you rinse out the bottom and the press and your done there not much more to it, yet the problem is that when stuff gets in-between the press and the filter for some reason the tea I was using got stuck between the press and filter while not a big deal it is something you have to be aware of this. Final thought’s on the product: This is a product that you can buy use and clean and move on about your day this is easy and that should be the focus and the reason you should buy. No really that is it a simple product nothing big you should buy it because it will save time and it easy to clean.

   I bought this product because not only is it a larger French press, but it’s one of the more visually pleasing French presses I’ve found so far. It does make a great cup of coffee, and the packaging you receive it in is excellent. It’s sturdy and came with extra filters as well as some smaller items such as spoons and two booklets which discuss the press and types of coffee you can make with it. After the first three weeks of use, I was cleaning it (as I regularly do) and noticed a lot of black/grey residue coming off on the paper towels I was drying it off with. I took to the internet to discover that this was a sign of oxidation from the 304 stainless steel that the entire unit is made out of. I also found metal powder between the nut and the threads on the base of the plunger where it connects to the filters. Kitchen Supreme were stellar through this whole process. I contacted them and expressed my concerns about the stainless steel cookware oxidizing and asked if chromium/nickel could be leaching into the coffee? They stood behind their product, and even sent me a second one; and still offered me a full refund if I wasn’t happy. To be clear if I were rating the company on just customer service they would get five stars. I tried the second unit they gave me, this time beginning with a thorough cleaning right out of the box. There was less oxidation on the metal this time, but still a high presence of metal powder on the threading where the rod connects to the filters (this part gets submerged in coffee). There were also deep scratches on the metal of the unit. I cleaned the second press thoroughly (pictures) and made a few batches of coffee over the next few days, cleaning the press each time. Slight oxidation returned a few days later and I ultimately opted for a refund. The reason I chose a refund was after a conversation i had with my physician about my concerns over 304 stainless steel and potential chromium nickel leaching. It was impossible to determine that the residue I found was oxidation or chromium nickel leaching without testing it (expensive) and we decided not to take the risk. Through this process Kitchen Supreme was extremely understanding and their customer service was exemplary. Make up your own mind on how you feel about 304 stainless steel in cookware. I am by no means embracing of health culture – I just like good coffee. This unit makes incredible coffee and looks good in the kitchen. The borosilicate glass they use is exceptional and the filters keep grinds out of your coffee. I hated the idea of not being able to continue with it. But do your research before making a decision.

   The picture here is not what we ordered (see photo), however it was supplied by Kitchen Supreme, at a very good price. Not sure they sell it anymore. Very nice product. Makes good press coffee. I gave them 5 stars for customer service. First their directions were provided both on paper and electronic document. And they were very detailed. If you ever wanted to try press coffee and didn’t know anything about it, these guys give complete detailed instructions. Second, someone in my family didn’t clean the unit and we left it sitting for about two weeks. What a mess, mold, stink and grossness. BUT, this was not the fault of the seller, but our fault. We tried every thing to clean the screen filters, but nothing helped. As I didn’t want to use possibly contaminated filters (the glass unit cleaned up nicely) I contacted the company via email to purchase new ones. Kitchen Supreme answered promptly, but they stated that they did not sell the screens separately. THAT BEING SAID, they offered to ship me a new set of screens for free. Can’t get any better customer service than that. Very pleased with Kitchen Supreme and am not afraid to do business with these good folks.

   My old french press was a cheap ikea one. I liked the flavor that the French press gave but I didn’t like how cheap my old one was so I wanted to upgrade but didn’t want to spend the 40 50 dollars that are really expensive French press costs. This was the perfect solution I feel like I got an amazing deal because you can see and feel the quality of this French press. I like that it comes with two screens so that way you don’t get grounds in your coffee, but also you get two more screens for replacements once these go out. It comes with recipes on different ways to make coffee using your French press which I thought was a nice touch a scoop to measure your coffee and a cute little spoon that you can use to stir. This French press feels like very high quality.

Only I’d love better was if you could actually take the glass out (but it is pretty well protected) to fully clean the bottom so the silver plated inside could be fully cleaned and not stain.    Didn’t even bother with trying to use it. Didn’t have it more than 2 minutes before deciding to return it. When received, I couldn’t even get the lid off because the plunger was binding while it is inserted to the bottom of the press. It took a CONSIDERABLE about of force to pull the plunger out. I had to squeeze the glass beaker with so much force pulling the plunger out, I was worried the glass would break in my hand. I inspected it and discovered the bottom plate diameter is WIDER than the inner diameter of the glass. When the plunger is pressed all the way down, the bottom retaining plate flexes as you push it in but binds when you try to pull the plunger out. Immediately returned. Update: So getting around to the update… The seller went the extra mile to track me down and provide me with a new press. This one worked great. How the first one I received made it through QA is baffling but this one was just fine. Good press lot of features and extra bonus credit for this seller working to find a dissatisfied customer and make it right no matter what!

    OVERALL: Highly recommended! I’ve been using the Kitchen Supreme French Press daily now for about a month and really like it. Rather than using my Cuisinart “Grind ‘n Brew” automatic drip coffee maker for when I’m only making coffee for myself, I’ve switched over to the French Press. I have yet to find any coffee grounds in my poured cup of coffee. The four screens that come with the bundle work wonderfully, keeping coffee grounds out of poured coffee. I have been pre-heating the glass press carafe with hot water (from the faucet) as I read that it helps retain some heat in the carafe and I wanted to minimize the risk of breaking the glass when adding in hot water. However, even when not pre-heated, the glass press carafe still keeps coffee hot during the 4 minute brew time and the glass carafe seems as though it will tolerate hot water even when starting at room temperature (i.e. no preheating). I also love the fact that I can place everything in the dishwasher (no hot temp dry) and then wipe it down immediately so as to avoid moisture staying on the stainless steel. Even stainless will rust if not kept dry, so it’s important to dry everything well after cleaning. Accessories: I hadn’t really thought of what to do with the coffee grounds on the bottom of the press. With my coffee maker’s filters, I’m able to compost or dispose of the grounds easily. With a french press, you need to pour the grounds out of the glass carafe, and you need something to catch them so that they don’t go down the drain (which can clog the garbage disposal). I did have a mesh strainer, but found that my grounds went straight through the strainer, so I purchased a separate fine mesh strainer (8″ wide) and that seems to work wonderfully, particularly when using 8 Tablespoons of coffee grounds to make a full carafe. I also opted to purchase an electric water kettle, which to my surprise boiled water extremely fast! What I like about this electric kettle is that is far more efficient than boiling water on the stove and seems to do so much more quickly. Also, the fact that it has a digital temperature display is very helpful, as I know exactly what temperature water I am using for my coffee. If you let the coffee sit in the carafe, such as brewing two mugs of coffee and then enjoying your first cup while the second stays in the carafe, the coffee will spoil. It becomes very bitter as it still remains in contact with the coffee grounds. This is more an observation that would apply to any french press and not just this product. However, with the marketing photos for this product showing people enjoying one cup of coffee with more awaiting in the carafe, this is very misleading as it suggests this would be an appropriate coffee experience (drink some now, refill as needed). This is not the case at all. So if you plan on brewing a full carafe it may be good to be prepared to pour it into a separate heat-retaining / insulated carafe. This was mentioned in some of the asked/answered questions. Also, the directions indicate that you need to stir the coffee grounds with after pouring hot water into the carafe. A wooden spoon is recommended. The metal teaspoon is not recommended, as metal can break the glass. While the plastic measuring spoon may be an option (as it is used in the video tutorial at the Kitchen Supreme website … which pulls from YouTube https://youtu.be/5vB1ttpRiwI), I don’t like using plastic in my food to begin with, so this is not ideal, particularly with hot products. Not knowing how hot the water in the tutorial video was, I was also concerned that the hot water might melt the thin plastic spoon, but as I have no intention of using the spoon anyway, I gave it a try using freshly boiled water at 210 degrees F. The spoon did not melt, so it appears it will withstand use as a stirrer if necessary. Suggestions: The plastic coffee measuring spoon is not very helpful. The promo materials talk about how the lid is “PLASTIC FREE” but yet a plastic spoon is included. Why plastic? This is bad for the environment. Many people prefer to go plastic-free. Most users have a tablespoon they can use to measure beans/grounds anyway, so the cheap plastic spoon adds very little value and from my perspective actually reduces the value of the product. I don’t want to purchase needless plastic. The airtight coffee canister I purchased came with a stainless steel measuring spoon, which I like much better and actually use every day. Deluxe Airtight Coffee Storage Container with Free Scoop and eBook – 12.5oz Beans or 16 oz Ground Coffee Canister – Premium Quality Stainless Steel Vault Along these lines, the mini metal bent teaspoon that can hang over a cup also seems rather useless. Most people use their spoons and then place them on the table/saucer rather than trying to drink while balancing a spoon on the edge of the cup. Perhaps eliminating the teaspoon and plastic tablespoon and instead substituting a stainless steel tablespoon would be an option? Even better may be a wooden spoon, which could be used both to measure coffee AND to stir once in the carafe!

Everything looks well constructed and is optically agreeable. The carafe does not have any graduations on it but upon conducting an experiment using a measuring cup(not included), I found that the top of the upper metal band (on the carafe, not Sabbath) is exactly 34oz(fluid)! I followed the directions provided with the kit with the following exception: I used pre-ground coffee!!! And dare I say it was… Folgers Columbian-Medium Dark!!! Which to some coffee snobs may very well be sacrilege, but they can cram that opinion up their dusty ass. The coffee was delicious! I can’t wait until I can get really crafty with pH-matched water and custom-roasted and ground beans! Then I can be a coffee snob too! I strongly recommend this product! What amazing quality at a truly affordable price.

    Edit: this coffee maker was great until today 31st, July 2020. It cracked while cleaning it with soap and water. Huge crack down the glass. Lasted 7 months though.

    Was making coffee and the glass cracked. I am really disappointed. Lasted for 7 months though. Was rinsing it in Kyle warm water and it completely cracked.

    Was a Christmas gift for my husband and he loves it! He wasn’t a fan of the coffee maker which we lost due to unforeseen circumstances so for Christmas I bought him this fancy coffee press. He was over the moon about it. It arrived late but it was worth the wait. I loved the instructions on how to use the coffee press as I have never used one before. I don’t drink coffee but I love making it out of the coffee press.

    UPDATE: The manufacturer saw my review and contacted me immediately. To my surprise, they sent me a brand new bundle free of charge. The new one is in great shape and so far works just fine. It’s nice to know there are companies out there who care about their customers and their products! Mine appears to have been assembled badly. The pitcher is crooked in the base and slants to the left. (I don’t think there’s a way for me to remove it and reset?) Also the measuring scoop/stirring spoon snapped when I was taking it out of the package. Pretty cheap plastic. It seems to work ok overall and frankly I don’t have time to send it back so I’ll keep it. Just disappointed in the quality of craftsmanship as I had high hopes.

    PROS: Elegant design, easy to use, easy to clean. The multiple filters and snug filter spiral plate (photo 2) offer a ground free sipping experience. This French press is not too heavy or too light. Carafe holds 8 cups and has a snug fit in base, the lid/plunger do not feel hot when pouring. Also came with instruction booklet and barista’s recipe’s, coffee/tea scoop and spoon a nice touch. CONS: 1) Carafe feels thinner than advertised. It may be 2x stronger than borosilicate and thermal shock resistant, but it does not feel as thick as the carafe from my last French press. 2) Not happy with the lid and the steep. I can appreciate the “no plastic” lid but the lid base is not wide enough to cover the spout of the carafe for steeping. This leaves a gap (photo 4) and makes it impossible to extract the aromas and flavor from the coffee beans that you would normally get from the steeping process. I cannot give it 5 stars because of this design flaw.

I was unable to remove it from the base and was worried about using too much force and breaking the glass.     I really love my French press. I use it for coffee, for infused water drinks, muddling lemons for vodka drinks, getting the juice from fresh raspberries – it’s just a wonderful kitchen gadget to have. It stays perched upon my little RV kitchen counter (not much space there but I use it THAT often). My only complaint is that the knob broke about a month after using it. I still use it, but it’s a bit more trouble. Can I get a replacement knob and the part it is attached to? I really do love this thing!

    I bought this at the end of March this year. It is the middle of October at the time of this review. I have had issues with grit in coffee with this but just didn’t drink the last 1/4th of every cup of coffee. I put all of the filters on the press and didn’t grind as much with no change. Tonight, my husband noticed the inner plastic lid wasn’t fitting well and found that the inner part of the stainless lid was rusted horrible. This has always been hand washed and never sat with contact to water. Disgusting. I am throwing this piece of junk away finally. UPDATE: I was contacted by the seller. He informed me that they had been sent a bad group of these and shipped me another french press. The difference in metal and design is noticeable with the newer unit having thicker metal. There is still a plastic liner to the lid which is disappointing since that’s what I think caused the faulty unit to rust under the lid. Will update in several months to see if this one holds up. Great customer service.

    Until I ordered this french press coffee maker, I had never used one before. I mainly wanted to get one because the makers of the coffee I use recommended it. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, just inexpensive and practical. The Kitchen Supreme french press came exactly as described and it was well packaged. The directions that came with it were very easy to follow and it was very simple to use. I have no problems with this product, but I really didn’t need the “bent” spoon (I never use it) and I would have liked for the scoop to have some kind of measuring gradation such as 1 tbsp or similar on it so I know exactly what I’m getting when I use it. Otherwise, I feel that this has been a very worth while purchase and plan to use it for quite a while.

    Top things to know: 1. 100% stainless steel parts and NO PLASTIC 2. May look complicated to assemble but it is easy! I had never used a french press before and after a couple days I can assemble it in 20 seconds. 3. Great customer service 4. Coffee tastes SO much better than drip machine! I had never used a French press before, but I am working on getting my kitchen plastic free. This seemed like a good alternative to my traditional Mr. Coffee pot brewed through a lot of plastic pieces. The little booklet that comes with it explains how to use it clearly and how to clean it properly. I haven’t had a chance to experiment with different types and coarsenesses of coffee yet as I am still going through my Costco 3lb super fine ground can, but it works fine and the same coffee I was using in Mr. Coffee pot tastes way better made using this French press! I bought this brand for the French press because it specifically said that 100% of the parts are stainless steel. I was nervous about buying on coffeemakers.us.com and didn’t want a fake stainless steel press that is actually poorly made. So far I am happy with my purchase and I trust the company. They replied to my emails quickly and personally! Overall, I think this company is trustworthy and the product is good quality and much better than drip coffee as far as taste and plastic toxins!

    Once I was introduced to coffee that was prepared in a French Press, I was hooked for life. The depth of flavor is unmatched. So began my quest for the best French Press I could find. Well look no further! The Kitchen Supreme French Press is my morning partner, whether at work or at home (yes, I have 2.) The whole press is very well made with quality screens (and spares,) a *very* sturdy glass carafe, and a stainless steel lid to keep everything nice and hot. And their replacement guarantee is totally legit. I carelessly cracked my carafe dropping it on concrete; so I contacted them to **purchase** a replacement… Nope, no need, they replaced it without a seconds thought. Cons: There seems to be a gap between the stainless steel and the glass so there are errant coffee grounds stuck. So that’s a strike for easy cleaning and durability remains to be seen. See pictures. I purchased this to make coffee for my mom because her single cup coffee maker was hard to clean and made the house smell like burnt coffee. I originally researched “sustainable” and green alternatives and figured that a coffee maker with no plastic was the way to go. Researched french presses and decided to go with this one. It came with a spoon for the coffee and a stirrer spoon that can hang from the cup. I’ve used it twice and will revise my review once some time has passed to see if it held up.
