   The lid seats loosely on top of the rim, which causes steam and coffee to escape. But the worst part is when pouring the coffee: It leaks uncontrollably from the spout! One must tilt it very very carefully and at the right angle.

   I bought this 12 cup (large)from TJ max for $24 early on in holiday season. It’s Hard to find this size usually. I love it. Simple to use & love this coffee over drip or my keurig. I’ve seen the negative reviews but I have used it daily for 2 months & it’s very easy to use and take apart as well. I do not take the gasket off to clean as I believe this would put repeated wear & tear. The gaskets are easy to replace & should last a long time. I do clean or rinse the pot after every use & it’s easy. Never use handle to tighten or loosen. If you’re not familiar with this kind of coffee making, check out some online videos.

   The Coffee stained the beautiful pink color, which the person I made this gift loved, unfortunately. Also the silver metal got rusted inside and all around, No safe for coffee!

   Coffee good, product ok, like how it looks, just don’t like that all the water, (all the water) doesn’t make its way through the coffee. Don’t spend this much $. I got mine under twenty at Marshals. Just wish the water made it through.

   I got mine at TJ Maxx and is a POS. Getting ready to let this thing cool down, and chuck it in the garbage. But first, I need to make a French press instead. 🤦🏽‍♀️ bad quality

   Pro: makes great coffee
   Con: The circular reservoir makes it difficult to loosen and take apart. If you screw on too loosely, the coffee spews out the sides. If you screw it on too tight, it’s really difficult to take apart.

   I recommend a Bialetti brand mokapot for it’s octagon shaped pot because it offers a firm grip allowing you to tighten and loosen without any difficulty which also means less mess.
