   Buttons hardly work, caraff pours coffee down the side bad!
   Skip this one… idea is great, buttons won’t turn it on after several times trying… you don’t know if your starting coffee or turning it back off. finally get it to go. I’ve tried 5 coffee makers in a month, i thought if I went expensive I’d get a good one… this is expensive, but not it… good luck setting the time.

   This is a simple to use, easy two-piece pour over for coffee. I’m all for convenienceand this is extremely easy to use and to clean! You control the strength of your coffee by how fast our slow you pour the water over the grounds. It has a stainless steel filter so it doesn’t affect the taste of your coffee and no more money on coffee filters, you just rinse and dry. The same with the glass carafe, it won’t interfere with the taste of the coffee and you just rinse and dry. I use a little soap after about three or four uses. I can get an average volume of four small mugs or two very large mugs with a full carafe. It’s a wonderful product!

   Toaster has an aggravating factory mark right on the face. Looks like ink. Will not come off. Not affecting the toaster function…just looks like crap for a brand new toaster!

   These are expensive and overly brittle. After tons of searching we found a $10 generic carafe at Walmart that works well with this Ninja coffee bar. It’s already shown to be tougher than the Ninja carafe and even if it breaks it’s a quarter of the cost… I added a picture in the event that it helps anyone find a better and cheaper replacement in the future.

   Ok so im a avid coffee drinker and was skeptical at first. But this pour over coffee maker has made coffee on the go great! The glass and filter are easy to clean.    This coffee maker is really nice. The digital layout allows for so many different styles of coffee choices. It has it’s own filter and coffee scoop. It has a delay timer to brew a new pot and even a timer for how long the pot should stay hot after brewing. This maker also has settings for ice coffee. I am so pleased with this coffee maker.

    I’m impressed that this filter let no sediment pass through to my cup of coffee. I use a fellow drip that takes paper filters and they always said there’s no reusable filter out on the market that fits it… well, the #4 cone works for it. I think the water passes through this filter faster than the paper filter so the flavor note might not be as strong, but it tasted good to me.
    Since the care instructions say not to wash it with soap, I ran hot water through it (I heat extra when I heat for the brew). You definitely need to rinse it in the sink to get the grinds out, so make sure you have a strainer in the sink to catch and dump into the trash. I don’t mind the extra step if it’s going to save me money and lessen my trash output.

    The 33 oz. Verlaine coffee maker is very good, dare I say even better than the Chemex. The glass is very strong, the filter is very easy to clean, and it makes a great cup of coffee. If you are used to the old drip coffee machines, the Verline may take some time to get used to, but the upside is that it makes a better cup of coffee. Try out a couple of different methods of brewing it to figure out exactly how you like it I personally like to use caramel coffee and add butter a la Bulletproof style. I also recommend using a kettle with a thin neck to give you more control over how much water you pour onto the grounds.

    The best part, however, it no longer needing filters. Not only am I saving money from not needing to buy filters, I also don’t have to worry about running out! I can also use the filter for other stuff, like making tea.

    Making cold brew coffee is really easy and nice to have. This kit makes enough to last a few days or a week depending on your coffee habit. The lid fits well enough that you can agitate the jar lightly without having any leaks. I recommend it.

    I’ve been using this coffee maker for about a month now. It comes with a little bit of a learning curve due to it’s multiple settings and the fact that you need to single/double/triple press to rotate through settings such as carafe temp, infusion levels, bean levels, etc. Screen-wise, it can be intimidating to look at. But after awhile of use, it gets easier. What I like about this coffee maker: – The mesh filter makes it easy to clean and save money on paper filters. Also reduces waste. – Keeps the coffee warm thanks to the warming tray What I don’t like about this coffee maker: – The error beep (if the coffee pot is not placed correctly on the plate) sounds like the same beep you get when the coffee maker is done brewing. I’ve misaligned my coffee pot on the warmer a few times on accident and it’s overflowed all over the place. – The only way to adjust the time is right when the coffee pot is turned on. – Speaking of time, over the last month this coffee machine has slowly not kept up with the correct time. It’s now about 5 minutes behind the actual time.

Not only is the Verlaine Pour Over a much more environmentally friendly alternative to my Keurig, it also makes much better coffee. This device truely highlights the finer quality of the coffee beans; it brings forth a rich and bold flavor that my traditional coffee maker and Keurig can not.     For $20, this is great value. Would buy again. The Stainless strainer seems well made, and doesn’t require any paper filter. There’s no plastic except for the thumb tab on the strainer, so it’s mostly recyclable for when it breaks. And it will break. The glass is super thin, think wine glass thin. I took a picture of me holding it up with a skewer to show how light it is. You won’t be passing this down to your kids, that’s for sure. Also, the neck is too tight for medium or larger hands to get in, so cleaning it requires a brush, or just put it off and let the flavor build up. The spout isn’t shaped correctly, so when you pour it kind of goes all around instead of in a nice stream
