   I saw this advertise from somebody who has lost 100 pounds and uses it to make protein coffee. I put coffee in during the day and let it sit on the counter and then stick it in the fridge at night. The coffee doesn’t have the bitter taste like you would from brewing it hot. The coffee just taste better. I had a protein shake to my coffee and it taste so good. This coffee maker is great

   Mason Jar Cold Brew Coffee Maker 64 OZ ( 2 Quart ) Wide Mouth Cold Brew Pitcher With Brew Filter For Coffee, Iced Tea, Sun Tea, Lemonade It makes about 4-5 cups of cold coffee if water is filled to the top. I was able to enjoy cold coffee in this hot weather. Some notes *The lid is a screw-type where you have to turn and tighten. But sometimes the lid does not screw correctly and opens back up. *The lid is light plastic and it is where the handle is located. Because of the above reason and the weight of the glass and liquid, it does not feel safe to carry only by the handle. *While the mesh filters most of the coffee grounds, it does leave some residue on the bottom *The gaskets are somewhat loose and comes off easily

   This cold brew set is much easier to use than I thought it would be! Produces dark, beautiful cold brew in the fridge overnight, however waiting 24 hours makes the best flavor. I wish I had gotten the bigger size because it does take so long to brew, but that was my fault for selecting the smaller one when I knew how long it would take, ha! It’s easy to clean and is a very sturdy at-home maker. Now I just need to find a reasonably priced cold brew ground coffee because it does take a bit of grounds to make the coffee. I just wish the instructions had come with measurements that gave the perfect water-to-coffee-grounds ratio because I had to Google to figure it out on my own, but not a big deal. BTW, I did 12 scoops to 1 full jar of this maker.

   I use this to make cold brew, and it does the trick! All the parts fit together nicely, and the filter is solid, durable stainless steel that is easy to clean. Taste of the coffee will vary based on your grind and brand. While the seal on the cap is good and leak-proof, my only complaint is that the cap feels cheap and the handle is a little too close to the jar itself–not an issue with a small 32oz., but definitely leaves little wiggle room on a larger 64oz. mason jar. Otherwise, this does what it’s supposed to, and I will likely get another.

    OMG there were so many brands and styles to choose from. I read so many reviews. Of course, I wanted to pay the least amount for the best quality lol. Plus I wanted it to look nice as it was a Christmas gift for my son who has taken an interest in making his own cold brew. After using this for over a month, I don’t regret my $15 purchase. One negative review I saw a lot across the board was flimsy handles; however, the screw on top with handle on this glass jar is very sturdy. The strainer is very fine & great quality and we haven’t seen any grounds in the coffee we pour. In fact, we had tried putting the Dunkin cold brew pouches in this jar which did not require the strainer. However, the pouches are quite thin & had a hole we didn’t see until grounds we’re floating everywhere. Coffee grounds were all in the coffee. So we put the strainer and it acted perfectly as sieve as we poured coffee out. So this mesh would perfectly for those who prefer to put the grounds directly in the water so they can mix thoroughly. Do that and then put the strainer in after brewing to separate grounds from coffee. So overall, happy with purchase. Keeps coffee fresh & doesn’t leak (yes we tested). Thinking of buy another for tea.

    I am sooo excited to be able to make cold brew at home now! I was spending way too much on cold brew from the grocery store but wasn’t sure how to make it at home. This mason jar makes it so easy and boom you have cold brew at home on hand. The coffee came out delicious too! The jar and top are very sturdy no leaking or dripping when pouring so far.     This is the second one I ordered and both arrived with the handle broken off I’m not sure if it is due to handling and shipping of product or if it it cheaply made Either way I do not recommend this product and I was so looking forward to using it for my tea and coffee

    UPDATE: My husband has taken this and after more than 2 1/2 years he is totally addicted to it for his sun tea. It makes a perfect sun tea for him. Highly recommend for either coffee or tea! This Mason Jar Cold Brew Coffee Maker 64 OZ ( 2 Quart ) Wide Mouth Cold Brew Pitcher works great! It comes with the stainless steel filter, 64 oz Mason jar, screw on lid with silicone ring and an extra silicone ring that I used under the filter just in case but it really wasn’t needed. I prefer cold brew because it gives me all of the caffeine without the acid which has become a problem with my stomach in my old age. (rolling eyes!) It also gives a nice smooth cup of coffee with no bitterness. Yummers! I found that this filter is easy to fill because of the wide mouth which is great. Many of the filters for cold brew are small and hard to fill. I can put a whole large serving spoon in this one which makes it super easy. This can lay down and not leak as you can see in the pictures above. I also turned it upside down with the full jar along with the filter in it and it didn’t leak at all. It is easy to sit in the fridge on a shelf or in my door shelves which makes it easy to find a place. I can make cold brew, iced tea–either cold brew, sun tea or regular hot brew–lemonade or any other beverage I choose. I got this to make cold brew however and find it to work well. Everything goes in the dishwasher and comes out sparkling and ready to go. The stainless filter doesn’t absorb odors so it gives a nice crisp coffee flavor. One thing that I would like is if the filter had a cap on the bottom that could be unscrewed for easier cleaning but that is a quibble. This is a nice setup that fits anywhere and is durable and perfect for my needs. This was made in China

    This is a great way to make cold brew I like to leave it for longer and swirl it around a few times when I remember. The only negative is that there fine particles that get through the filter. And I use a pour over filter to get them out. The picture is from a large batch.

    The product looks ok but it arrived used and dirty; it still had grounds in the diffuser. Even after hand washing (see picture) it still has grounds. I bought it for flavoring water and tea, not cold brew coffee. I will be returning it but I hate the delay and process.
