   L O V E the design! No pots, no burned coffee, just dispense and it stays really hot for 4 hours and I tasted the coffee at the 4th hour…. still good, and as advertised! Size is comparable to a regular one pot coffee maker, but a bit higher. It fits perfectly on my kitchen counter, and it’s nice enough to display at my open concept kitchen. Neat, sleek, so simple to use!

   Nice idea and works OK for the price. Only issue is it drips from the button part of the machine after using it a few times. It has a little well that catches the coffee drips but it’s a little annoying to clean up after every use. Coffee tastes good and the machine is very easy to use otherwise. Still would recommend for the price.

   I read a lot of reviews before deciding to purchase this coffee maker. The top is flimsy, as others have stated, but it doesn’t negatively affect my experience. The coffee is SUPER hot, which surprised me the first time I had a cup. I would have liked a 12 cup version, but the cost difference is probably not worth it. My travel mug doesn’t fit under this machine, unless I pull it to the edge of the counter – but I had expected this from other reviews. It’s easy to clean, which is also important to me. Overall, it is a great machine and the more economic choice between the two sizes, for me.

   This is a great coffee maker for everyday use! Buyers beware that even if you hand wash this every day, the writing is going to smear off within a month or two.

   I poured over reviews and finally settled on this coffee pot as a replacement for our well loved, basic Oster coffee maker. Out of the box I was underwhelmed. It felt like flimsy plastic the minute I picked it up. I was trying to remain opened minded and started up my first pot. Things went well and the brewing timer works properly. Dispensing was my major issue. When holding a small cup (nothing like a travel mug a normal human would consume, because that won’t fit) it pours coffee EVERYWHERE! When I used the mug edge to press the dispensing button coffee continually ran out the opening and down behind my mug. There was no avoiding this. Completely DONE! I have never had success with anything Hamilton Beach brand in the past and I should have trusted my instincts.

   I wish I could give it 10 stars. I absolutely love this thing. It’s so easy to use and clean it’s just great. The way it holds the coffee inside itself is so much better than a glass pot or single serve types… I’ve had them all and this is by far the best. I’ve only had it about 2 months so I can’t speak to durability but so far it’s been great. If you’re a daily coffee drinker… Just get one.

   show six months after purchasing this it started to leak we can figure out where so we went to the troubleshooting guide cleaned it with vinegar as they say and it stopped leaking for about 3 months then at least again and we tried the vinegar trick and it didn’t work we’ve tighten screws we’ve done all sorts of things in the troubleshooting guide and this thing continues to leak and because I reported this a couple days after the warranty was up because it was passed a year they’re not doing anything they’re off me half off a new unit and I just want this unit to work right so don’t buy anything from Hamilton they are a joke..

    The idea of this coffee maker is great, but sadly it is not executed correctly and leaks everywhere. The base was leaking coffee all over our counter the first day we used it. We followed directions perfectly and did not overfill it. In the troubleshoot instructions it says if it is leaking it probably has coffee grounds in it. This thing was leaking even when just running water through it with no coffee! I was really wanting this to work because I love the idea of pouring one cup of coffee at a time, but it just doesn’t work. It will slowly drip coffee down the front as well through out the day so its a never ending mess. I will be returning this.

    I really love being able to dispense fresh hot coffee one handed while I’m consoling my screaming babies HOWEVER I don’t love that my counter also enjoys a cup of coffee every single morning. While coffee does pour nicely into my mug it also pours nicely down the front of the coffee maker and into the drip pan. No big deal, right? It would be no big deal if it wasn’t leaking so badly that it overflows onto the counter. It’s done this since first use and Hamilton Beach’s advice was “it’s got coffee build up. you should clean it” ARe YoU SuGGEstiNg I’m DUMB? did it not come to me clean?? But alas I cleaned it anyway and it still leaked everywhere. So they’ve sent me a new one that does the exact same thing. Anyone want two junk coffee makers?

    At first I noticed a leakage, but just cleaned it up. Now the pump will do about 2 cups then , I have to restart to get it to finished the rest. I am beginning to think, these are sub-standard products that someone picked up. Especially since, another person is having similar problems…….

    this is the best best coffee maker i ever used. there is no pot to break or burn. the coffee is on the inside of the maker and it has a setting to keep it hot for upto 4 hours. it uses a bar to press like a soda pop machine to dispense the coffee so its always hot and fresh. i had one before this and used it until it died nad bought this one and its great i love it and i wont go back to a coffeemaker with a pot ever again. i highly recommend this machine

    I bought this coffee maker 9 months ago and at first I really liked it. I got tired of looking at the normal makers with the glass container so I decided to get this fancy looking one here. Well about 3 weeks ago it started to leak coffee. The leak comes from the brewed coffee dispenser, there is a metal plate in the middle of it and this is where it is leaking. The pictures below only shows some of the spilled coffee. I was standing right by the coffee maker trying to get the coffee into my cup as soon as it was brewed and it still leaked quite a bit. Since it is under warranty I sent an email to request a new part, it took about 1 week for them to agree that yes it was under warranty and they would send me a replacement for the damaged part. I had to pay $5.99 for shipping and as of today I still have not received that part. If this happens call them, don’t send an email as this only delays the process because they keep asking questions. I don’t mind paying the shipping fee as this is very understandable but I do mind that it’s been almost 2 weeks since I paid said fee and have yet to received my replacement part. I want some real coffee! After it breaks again in 9 months, I will be going back to the boring coffee maker I had before. I gave it 3 starts because I really liked this product up until it leaked coffee all over my counter top.

    Against my better judgment and after reading a lot of the negative comments I bought this coffee pot. I’ll keep this short and sweet, after only 15 pots of coffee it leaks leaks and leaks! Their so called selling point that the hot plate warms the coffee without burning is exactly the opposite. It will leak a little or a lot, it likes to surprise you!

    Try some Red Diamond European Roast if you like McDonald’s coffee. I searched and searched for years to find something w/o bitterness and medium/full bodied. I buy 6 cans at a time from Red Diamond. This is the best coffee I’ve found after sampling 30+ types. If you’re a business, their Red Diamond Estate portion packet European Roast are even better. This is the 10-cup model which is being sold alongside their 12-cup model. I can verify that the 12-cup model a person call fill a tall on the go coffee cup whereas with this one you won’t be able to. But for fat boy cups, this is a great maker.
