   Negatives: It seems as though it’s been used. Scuffs and scratches on the coffee maker and noticeable dust in and outside. I would return it but my old Hamilton beach coffee maker broke a week ago and I’ve been running to dunkin every morning for coffee. . . It’s getting old. I’d rather not go another week waiting for a replacement. So I guess I’m keeping it. Also seems to have a slight leak when brewing the coffee. This is my 4th Hamilton Beach coffee maker the average life span seems to be about 2-3 years. Possitives: It is a nice compact size for a machine that does both coffee and espresso drinks. The bold option makes a nice strong cup of coffee. I also love that the one piece folds up when it not in use. I saw complaints about the milk not throfting but mine seems to work fine.

   Good: -The bold button makes a stronger coffee including a shot for an expresso. -Compact size and the foldable frother. -Many of the parts are removable for easy cleaning. -My tallest tumblers fit in the coffee station. Bad: -I would prefer a longer cord. The cord is about 25 inches long not including the plug. -The machine takes a long time to begin brewing. It ranges from over a minute for the coffee shot to three minutes for regular brewing. -The water reservoir had condensation on the lid the following day. I found it helpful to keep the lid up after use until it is thoroughly dry. I ordered the Hamilton 49949 FlexBrew Single-Serve and Full Pot Coffee Maker. I like that this coffee maker is simple to use and its slim design fits in my limited space. The frother extension folds up and down easily for daily use. The bold brew shot makes a nice quick expresso coffee, but the taste did not yield what my full size expresso machine can produce. Overall, I like the features and size, but I would prefer a quicker cup of coffee.

   I love this coffee maker. I gifted it to my daughter & son in law. He was wanting a single cup maker. I looked at the other Single Cup brands and this one had better features for your dollar. They love the fact they can use the K Cups and their own coffee. My daughter loves the milk frother to make London Fogs. Nice coffee maker.

   Wife loves it for her cappuccino,hot chocolate and the froth maker. She doesn’t drink it everyday and with the single server is perfect. It’s easy to use. My Keurig has different options and she just wanted something simple to use.

   I got this a few days ago, read the enclosed booklet too. I was all set, put in the correct amt of water, and put in my Pod to brew a latte. And…….nothing! Oh, except water all over the table the chair and the floor, but no latte. Sorry HB I wanted to love this, but I can’t. Water does not go thru the Pod. I tried one more time, and wayer still doesnt go thru the pod (Kcup). The frother worked great. It’s going back on Monday.

   I have one small issue with this so I’ll talk about that first. The needle doesn’t seem very sharp. It is hard for me to shut the door on the cup. I have to push it down, then shut it. It’s the needle on the inside and not in the lid. I have tried several brands with the same results. It could be I’m a weakling but I want to mention it. Make sure you do not fill the water reservoir all the way. You fill your cup, then pour that into the reservoir. You can brew it regular or strong. I like that I can use whatever flavor that I want. You can also use your own grounds, using the special cup that’s provided. It works well, too. My husband prefers to use it since he likes a certain kind of coffee. It’s easy to dump and clean out. The frother is great. You can froth it on warm which is like fluffy milk. If you use cold then it’s more like a whipped topping. If you use the warm setting, use the milk right away. It turns back into regular milk quickly. It’s best to spoon the milk onto your coffee instead of pouring it. Altogether, I really love this. It’s compact and doesn’t take up much room on my counter. It works great.

    This product makes good coffee (I use the ground coffee filter incl.) have yet to use the K-cup one. Love it! on a downside wish only that the reservoir for the water held more water at one time. other than pour water EACH time you use it!

    You can’t select a cup size, there’s no tank to hold water. You simply have to fill the cup your going to use filled with water poar it in the back it boils it and puts it back in the cup.
    Mine would boil and then do nothing.

    Contacted the company and they refunded with return with no issues.
