   We have had the coffee maker for less than 6 months and the carafe is already broken. The glass is very thin. We tried to order a replacement carafe and it is not carried on coffeemakers.us.com and is out of stock on the manufacturer’s site. It is a shame as it makes good coffee. Very disappointing.

   This beautiful machine has all of the bells and whistles to it. Clock, auto shut off, dispenser, brew strength, 12 cup pot… And I’m sure there are others that I have not even discovered yet. Rightfully so at the price point. First off, Hamilton Beach is a very well-known brand, and one that I have frequently used in the past. They Make quality items that are built to last, along with having some of the latest tech and convenience features. I was a little skeptical at first with the auto dispenser. As convenient as that is in the mornings, it did come at the cost of some extra steps and pieces that you must deal with in order to clean the pot. After having used this coffee machine for about a week now, that concern has been pretty much wiped from my mind. Are there extra pieces? Yes. Are there extras steps? You could say that. Is it a bother? Not at all. The pot, the dispenser and the placement within the appliance is so well designed and thought out that it’s really of no effort or time. The reality? No pot to mess with until you clean it out for the next day! Grab your cup, press, and go! Not to mention that you can still easily see exactly how much coffee is left at all times. The auto shut off has a programmable timer on it, up to 4 hours. you can have the coffee remain hot after it has been brewed from anywhere between immediate turn off, to 4 hours after it was brewed. I have mine set up for 2 hours personally. By that point I have drank all of the coffee I am going to have for the morning, and it’s not sitting on a hot plate long enough to start to burn and change the taste. I can turn on the pot in the morning, and simply forget about it for the rest of the day until I clean it out and get it set up for the following morning. There are 3 levels of brew strength that you can program this with. The idea is that, depending on which program you use, will affect the boldness of the coffee brewed. I honestly have not played with this feature yet and can’t tell you how much of a difference it does, or does not, make. Once I have spent some time on this feature, I will come back and update this post. What I CAN say at the moment, is that I have left it on level 2 and the coffee taste incredible! No plastic taste, no burnt taste or any of the unpleasantries that are commonly found with consumer grade, home coffee machines. The coffee tastes fresh and well made. Again, if this changes in the near future I will update this post. This is a moderately pricey coffee maker, though it is money well spent. You are not simply paying for name on this, you are paying for the quality and the modern tech that is associated with the name and this coffee maker is well worth the price. I could not be happier with it.

   We like Hamilton Beach Coffee Makers and have had a few over the years. But we hadn’t had a One Press until now – we love it! It is so convenient. Our large Yeti and Starbucks tumblers fit in the dispenser with plenty of room. The programming is very easy to use and similar to our other Hamilton Beach models. It has a removable water reservoir and then a 12 cup internal brew pot. The new model has a clean, streamlined look to it, looks great on our countertop. The One Press dispenser functionality is a game changer – A Brewed Pot of Coffee with no more carafe or carafe drips mess!

   I have purchased several Hamilton Beach coffee makers over 40 plus years. I had no problems with the operation of those machines, they just wore out over time. I love the aesthetics of this coffee maker. The design is very nice, especially having the water reservoir in the back leaving more workable space on the counter. It is a little heavy because of the internal glass pot. It is easy to clean, the coffee tastes great, the price is not terrible, and it is easy to use BUT after two days of use the machine leaked. What a mess all over the countertop. Very disappointed in the operation, I would not recommend this machine.

   I was so impressed with this coffee maker – coffee was robust and delicious. Unfortunately it quit working. It won’t brew a full pot, steam is coming out of the top like crazy and lets just say, it died.

   I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. There are no returns it seems – I visited the Hamilton Beach website and they will do nothing because it was sold through coffeemakers.us.com.

   So disappointed. Into the trash it goes. Going back to Cuisinart.

    Apparently only some models come with the grounds filter basket and I did not get one of those. In order to test it I had to use one from another coffee maker. It was smaller and so there were coffee grounds in my coffee. Also I brewed and filled my cup with the coffee I made 30 min after and it was like warm. It says it keeps it hot for up to 4 hours or the desired time you choose. So disappointed

    This is super simple to set up. I love the design of this. You do need coffee filters. You can choose brew strength, as well as coffee brewing delay, or how long to keep warm. I like stronger coffee so I chose that setting. This would be super cute on a coffee bar or set up for a guest with all the extra goodies to make their own coffee. There are multiple options to set how you like your coffee, and there’s nothing better than fresh ground beans and brewing your coffee how you like.

    Make’s good coffee and looks nice.

    Uses a separate reservoir for the water and the brewed coffee. Makes consistently great coffee. Very easy to clean. My only issue with it is the control buttons. They’re very difficult to press, especially when trying to set the timer. Otherwise, hands down the best coffeemaker I’ve ever owned.

    This makes great coffee! The water out of the dispenser is about 175 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s hotter than my other coffeemaker. I use less coffee than it suggests. Its four-cup measurement is actually 20 ounces. They suggest four tablespoons of coffee. I use one rounded coffee measure. I like to make one 12 ounce cup and I can do that with this just fine. It takes about 3 minutes. When you make a full pot, keep in mind that there is no “pause and serve” feature. You have to wait until the entire amount is finished. The pot is on the inside and the heating plate is on the inside. You can have the plate stay on for up to four hours. I don’t think this concept is going to catch on. It’s a novel idea and I like it, but it’s large. My other 12 cup coffeemaker is about 9 1/2 inches in depth. This one is 12 inches. It’s the largest coffeemaker I think I’ve ever seen. And the dispenser isn’t all that quiet. It’s not really loud, but someone asleep in the next room may hear it. I usually get up first and quietly make coffee. The dispenser is the loudest part of this process. And like I said, you have to wait until the entire pot is made before you can serve the first cup. The clean-up is easy – not as easy as just cleaning a carafe, but it’s about the same. You just slide the carafe out and take it apart. The heating plate is on the inside. The carafe is on the inside. It uses a pump to dispense coffee. It’s about the same as using a conventional coffeemaker, but just pumping from the internal carafe. I’m not sure I see the point in that, actually. It is a one-handed dispenser operation, instead of setting a cup down and pouring, if you only have one hand to use at that moment. But, it does make great coffee!

    I made my first pot of coffee this morning. I made a full pot of coffee, which is 12 cups. But it works like all other coffee makers: it takes 8 cups of water (measured by a cooks standards) to make the 12 “cups”. Each cup is actually 3/4 of a cup (6oz), not 8. The coffee was too strong for my liking and I like it strong. It was not the coffee maker; it was me. I ordered and returned another brand just before I bought this one and I had to use twice the coffee to get a decent cup. When I have figured out just how much to use, I will be all set. I love that this pot is primarily glass It is easy to clean. And there is no plastic taste. It will keep the coffee the coffee warm for up to 4 hours. It does not take up much counter space, which is a boon in my small kitchen; it is less wide an inch deeper than the pot it replaces; and it is much easier to clean. And no carafe. Although if there was a need for one, you could easily fell one if you had company you wanted to serve at the table.

    I got this to use in the work break room. We used to have the traditional coffee maker with a glass carafe, it’s always a mess in the coffee station. With this coffee maker, no more pouring coffee from carafe and stain the table or carpet. All you need just take your cup to the dispenser and dispenser it after the coffee is done. Even though I still have to clean the big carafe, however, it’s not difficult to get it out and it’s purely just take it out, twist the top and clean the body and put it back. Once you get a hang of it, it’s not that trouble at all. The coffee flavor is normal and it’s really depends on what ground coffee you use it. So far, I’m happy with it, no more mess in the breakroom coffee station.

    Pump Stopped Working // Prior Model was AMAZING I have used this coffee pot from end of May to early Aug. The pump stopped working today. Honestly, this coffee maker has been horrible since it arrived. It has leaked a few time. It’s not easy to clean. It’s kind of a pain. I was looking forward to setting this up for my coffee routine… The setup isn’t easy but you can figure it out with the directions. I did this as a treat for myself and ended up getting frustrated instead. Bummer. I loved the prior model that didn’t have a pump and didn’t have a glass holding area. I used it for many many years. I actually donated it because I was moving and didn’t want to pack it up. I spent a lot of money on this and am totally disappointed. _______________________________________________________ FIRST REVIEW I was excited to get this coffee maker because I had the past model. It almost completely different. Pros >> I do like the fact that the coffee is stored in glass. >> You can program to brew in the AM and it works. >> Looks nice. >> Doesn’t drip. Cons >> I don’t like that the coffee isn’t warm & is kinda cold when put on the warmer. The other one was way better. I may return it because of this…. Main reason I loved this coffee maker. << Trying again to see if it was me/user error. >> There is a pump the dispenses the coffee. The old was was gravity feed and didn’t need a pump. >> Wondering how long this pump will actually last. >> Pump to get coffee into your cup is kinda loud. If you are trying to be quiet in the AM and get a cup of coffee, you can’t. >> You need to read the instruction in order to use this & they are a little confusing. >> Doesn’t come with a reusable filter as shown in the directions.     I recently received this coffeemaker from my registry for a wedding gift. Before, I had the Hamilton Beach Brewstation for the last 4 years. The Brewstation operates a similar way to this one which is what I was looking for. I love the dispensing feature opposed to a carafe. This one is definitely worth the money. It has everything that I wished my Brewstation had. It has the dispensing feature along with all of the different settings such as brew strength, a timer to set, a length of time for it to remain warm, etc. It makes me a little worried in the future about the touch screen buttons failing but we’ll see! My biggest complaint with my Brewstation was that it always seemed to be dirty and hard to clean. This one has an inner carafe like holding place for your coffee that you can take apart and clean. Because of the material it’s made from it doesn’t seem to look like it would get gross and moldy easily. I also love that this comes with a charcoal water filter especially since I have hard water! This coffee maker also alerts you every 30 cycles to clean it. And it actually has its own built in cleaning cycle to descale the heater for 30 minutes and then it will empty into the holding part for you to dump out. It’s very convenient and easy to use. My biggest complaint is that it will not dispense until it’s done brewing but for a 14 cup coffeemaker it doesn’t take long!

    Very nice coffee maker with a different design. Water tank is easily removable to fill in the sink and easily placed back on machine with one hand. No spills as there is not a carafe that needs to be poured. Coffee stays fresh for much longer than traditional coffee makers. I like the machine but it does take a few more steps to prepare coffee verse traditional machines. front slides out and glass is removed. Then lid taken off that component to clean out old coffee. Great tasting coffee, love it after I got used to it.
