I have had constant problems in the 6 months we’ve had this coffee maker. It requires cleaning every few weeks and we get H2O Fill errors at least once a week for no reason. I have to unplug the maker (and then re-program everything), usually first thing in the morning when I should be drinking my coffee! This morning, it wouldn’t go away – so out came the coffee press…
We also have overflow issues when using the recommended amount of coffee/water for our servings.
I wanted a removable water reservoir because access on my counter is limited, but unless you have room to come in from the side [which I don’t], this requires nearly 2 feet of clearance to drop the reservoir in over the top. Every night is a chore, and the design feels so flimsy when setting it – no wonder I’m always getting errors!
The final issue is the pot design: it has this weird ledge that makes cleaning it a pain. The first few cups pour really smoothly, then the coffee goes around the ledge and leaks down the pot. When it works, the coffee is great, just like it was with my last coffee maker, and the one before that. I hate that I spent so much on this piece of junk!
