   This is a great pourover system. Its best feature, candidly, is how beautiful it is. That said, there are several limitations:
   – There should be a filter at the bottom of the top piece. Water pours through rather quickly and the cone of the filter, unless you fold it in a rather intricate way, dunks into your coffee. Not good. There should be a filter at the bottom of the peak of the top (filter) piece to prevent this.
   – The bottom component is rather small. It probably holds <10oz, so it can only handle a small cup of coffee.
   – The top piece is very tricky to clean and tricky to dry.
   It’s decent despite those limitations — with some annoyance I use it daily — but recommend other options.

   My Keurig went out on me and I do not want to purchase another since I do not use K-pods. This has saved my mornings. I like to sit with a cup of coffee while studying the Bible. I had heard of the pour over method but never gave it much attentions. Oh boy, this method makes a richer cup of coffee. The glass is well made and the pieces fit together perfectly. The bottom piece has measurements of 100 ml and 200 ml. The piece is also made like a double vacuum. The shape of the top piece allows for versatility when brewing. I used cheesecloth and had no problems. I am sure a coffee filter would fit just as well. The only lack is that it has no handle. I think if the bottom had a handle , it would be easier to manipulate.

   This personal-sized pour-over set is gorgeous. I have tons of coffee-making gear. But I never owned a pour-over until now. This one is just the size to make yourself a single cup of coffee. And if you have all the fancy double-walled glass cups it fits right in! It seems pretty delicate but I have hand-washed it and clunked it in the sink it might be sturdier than it seems. It makes a great cup of java and the process is very soothing and relaxing to get your morning started or to end your day. No judgments!

   I ordered this for my sister to use when she comes over. She likes the pour over method better than the keurig I own. This one works well but I wish it had a handle so you don’t have to hold the hot coffee maker in your hands. I can’t figure out what makes this pour over coffee maker so expensive. It’s way too pricey for what it is.

   Overall this pour over maker embodies the feeling of form over function for me. The overall appearance is very attractive, with the glass layers making it look very atmospheric, and the shape of the filter seems to work well for filtering coffee. The double wall of the bottom carafe also helps reduce scalding due to the hot coffee. The top piece, however, tends to get condensation on the inside, and there is nowhere to put the top funnel while pouring coffee with the carafe at the bottom, and the depth of the funnel also means the bottom tip of the filter might come into contact with the top of the coffee, if making larger amounts. Additionally, the top piece is a bit tricky to clean, as the space between the funnel and the outside edge can be a bit small. Drying it is also another issue, as water will collect in there from cleaning or from condensation, and it is tricky to get a tower or anything in the small space to wipe it to prevent water spots. The glass also feels a bit on the thinner side, but I haven’t dropped it to test the durability.

   Love pourover coffee, in fact, that’s my daily brew. This uses 1-2 cup filters and the double wall is great to keep the hot water from cooling against the pourover filter and vessel.

   I ordered this pour-over coffee maker to take camping because of its simplicity. It brews the coffee by pouring boiling water over the coffee grinds. It is perfect for me because of the ease of making 1 or 2 cups of coffee instead of a whole pot. There is no coffee waste.    The illusion of this being a premium glass pour-over set is quickly dashed when you actually get your hands on it. The glass feels very VERY fragile, and I suspect would crumble if not handled with the utmost care. I was hoping this would be similar in thickness to something like lab glass, borosilicate or the like but it is, sadly, not the case. There are a lot of fancy words tossed around in the listing but for a fraction of the price of this 2-cup dripper you are much better off purchasing a v60 set from Hario, which, unlike this overpriced nonsense is ACTUALLY made from borosilicate and feels premium even at a sub $20 usd price tag. VERDICT: Skip this, buy a hario and spend the other $55 on really, really good coffee.
