   Our old coffee Delonge maker died (it was 10 years old) so I ordered this one. Like the compact size and the stainless steel is nice looking. Will have to order extra filters soon. Works perfectly in the spot I have for it. Brews quickly and you can actually smell the brewed coffee. Love it.

   UPDATE: today it decided to quit brewing. Not sure what is going on as it was working perfectly. Disappointed as it’s not even a year old (10 months). I really liked this coffee maker, but less than a year is not cool. They (Sears) could not replace it and because I had problems with Kenmore before, I decided on another brand. I pray this one lasts longer. Coffee makers do not last like they used to.

   Love everything about this coffee maker: it’s stainless steel, percolates strong coffee and does not drip when you remove the carafe while it’s still percolating.
   What I don’t like: it beeps very loud, numerous times and there is no off button for the sound.

   I wish they would make one that has an on/off button for the beeps when coffee is done. It’s very loud at 5 am.

   This coffeemaker is easy to operate. Makes great , hot coffee. Not a ton of functions but I didn’t need or want them anyway. It does have a special brew function when making 1-4 cups of coffee. I haven’t noticed that the water filters make any difference. I bought additional ones so will continue to use them. The price was good and the coffee maker is well made.

   Very good coffee maker! The ” beeps” when the coffee is ready are not that bad at all as some reviews have stated, in my opinion.
   Makes GREAT COFFEE and has great style and eye appeal. Leaves a SMALL footprint on the counter while having a 12 cup capacity. This is a GOOD PURCHASE!

   UPDATE: THIS IS THE BEST DARNED COFFEE MAKER THAT I HAVE EVER HAD IN ALMOST 50 YEARS! It is SUPERB!

   Sure this coffee maker can make coffee. Our family purchased this item around six weeks ago. When the coffee is ready, five loud beeps ring throughout the house! Unbelievable. Whoever approved this design has NEVER had sleeping children or a sleeping spouse. My husband and I occasionally wake early and want to enjoy a cup of coffee in quiet without children, but we have to wait until our three boys are awake before making coffee. Otherwise, the moment the five beeps ring out and wake the boys, they come spilling out of their beds ready for the day! Finally this morning, we agreed… we moved the coffee maker out to the front porch and plugged it in there so that we could enjoy a quiet cup of coffee that doesn’t wake the children. Still heard the beeps from inside, but not nearly as bad. An oh yeah, if you have a brief power outage in the middle of the night, yep… a loud ‘rise and shine, I’m back in business’ beep shouts through the house for you then too.

   I read many reviews and was worried about some of the problems that others had identified. But there were also many good reviews, so I decided to try it. Call me lucky!! The coffee pot was delivered in just a few days as opposed to the 7 to 10 day delivery I expected. The coffee maker is nice looking and durable. I made my first pot of coffee and was pleasantly surprised. Kenmore must have been listening to all the complaints and evidently fixed them. No leaks when you pour the coffee. Plenty of room to fill the reservoir. And that pesky loud beep is no longer that loud. I would definitely recommend this coffee maker to my friends.

   We ordered this as it’s the same maker we had for like 10 years. I was so happy to find the same brand on coffeemakers.us.com as there were so many different choices. This is a nice maker. We use it twice a day pretty much. Well worth ordering if you need a straightforward drip maker.

   I’ve recently bought this product; I moved from using a French press my entire life to a programmable coffee maker to save some time in the morning. My biggest concern was whether it would taste good, and overall I was pleasantly surprised. However, the lid did break immediately after taking it out of the box. When I called the 1-800, I was redirected and told that the phone call would be $4.50. It seemed pretty sketchy to me, and I hung up. I haven’t found an email or another way of connecting with the supplier – So I hope they see this message. It seems like a simple fix, and I would love to have the lid replaced.

    This is a great coffee maker. It brews 12 cups much quicker than our last maker. (Different brand). Our coffee is hotter and tastes better with this Kenmore as well. This thing I like the best is it shuts itself off after two hours so if we leave and forget it on we don’t have to worry about it. I would recommend this coffee maker and would buy again.

    “Wow, great coffee” is what I said on my first sip. I’ve had K cups Keurig makers and Mr Coffee makers, they don’t compare. I drink coffee black so taste is paramount. With kenmore, I use less coffee and have more coffee flavor without the bitterness. I love the gold basket it comes with eliminating the use of #4 cone filters. The gold basket lets the sediment through and if you set the 1-4 setting, the coffee steeps longer for a richer taste.

    It does come with an in line carbon filter to remove bad taste in the water but I use bottled water. With that said, the only minor glitch it has a small inlet for water. It works PERFECTLY if you are using pint bottles of water. 2 tablespoons of coffee and 1 bottle of water makes a perfect 16oz mug.

    So far I really like this coffee pot. I’ve had it for a little over a week and it works great! It brews fast, it brews quietly, it’s easy to set and program and it looks nice on my counter.

    The only reason I docked it a star is the beep. It is so incredibly loud. It beeps when it’s done brewing and it beeps again when the heating element turns off after 2 hrs. The beep cannot be turned off and it cannot be turned down. If it was just a single beep or honestly if it only beeped at the end of the brewing cycle I probably wouldn’t even mention it. It beeps 5 long loud (LOUD) beeps. It just seems unnecessary. Plus if you want to set it to brew before you’re awake, it would absolutely wake you up. Or if you’re like me and enjoy getting up before the husband and kids and having a cup of coffee, it acts as an alarm. My kitchen is on the opposite side of the house from my bedroom and behind closed doors with fans on you can still hear the beep.

    Overall it’s a great little machine, I would absolutely recommend it, I just wish I could turn off or turn down this beep.
