EDIT: quit making drinkable coffee after 1 week. Replaced it with another that made terrible coffee from the get… found the Ninja Specialty maker and found heaven… so sorry. (This is, bar none, the best coffee maker we have ever owned. We like strong rich coffee. The k-pod cup is richer and smoother than our older kuerig and makes the best cup of coffee we’ve had in years. Surprisingly, the coffee maker brews by far the best POT of coffee we’ve had in years! Yes, it does not brew a pot of coffee in 60 seconds flat… THANK GOD! Instead it brews slowly and delicately at the perfect temperature for a rich, fu………. nevermind. 🙁 It now sucks.

The problem with this Brewer is when you put the carafe back in its place after you have made a coffee using a pod the remaining little bit that remains in the filter ends up draining into the carafe. So after you use the K-Cup pods let’s say 5 to 10 times you will notice that your carafe has liquid in it even though you didn’t make a pot of coffee. So every single time you go to make a carafe of coffee you first have to empty out the extra liquid that drained from the filter into it. Get the Ninja CFP301 instead because it’s so much better. I went through 3 of these Keurigs before realizing it’s a design flaw.

I resisted buying this for a long time. Now that I only drink a cup or two of coffee, I thought I would try it. I’m so glad that I did. I love everything about it. The size is great.. As I am a minimalist and don’t like items on my countertop, it is perfect. I have the water vessel in the back so that I can slide it under the upper cabinet ( no steam is expelled from the machine) and it takes up little room. I haven’t used the carafe but will when I have a group of friend here. I would recommend this to anyone.
