   I probably would have like it if it had worked- second one I’ve purchased- unfortunately this one never came on after plugging in- *on side note, it was bought as a repackaged item at a lower cost. One very important matter that was disturbing after opening -there was probably 1 to 1/2 cup of water inside the plastic bag the product was shipped in. I’m sure that much water shorted out something somewhere. Also the inside box was wet and had been for a while – so was the product information sheet. There was a notice on the box that there would probably be water residue because it was apparently tested after returning the first time but I’m thinking that much water should not be the
   norm. I’m sorry, I’ve did rate this product a tad low only because the whole ordeal was a bit disappointing in that general way. I’ll probably order another one but not at the discounted price this time around- just aggravating and returning was a little hassle – label printing fee-

   I have only used this for 3 days and it will be going back. The single cup coffee does not have much flavor. It took 20 mins to brew 12 cups in the carafe and when I opened the area with the grounds, I have a horrendous mess. Not worth the money.

    Honestly I hesitated buying this model due to all the backlash and criticism it received. But I took a leap of faith and put my trust into the few good reviews and I’m so glad I did! Zero issues. None. The pot brew function works well, as does the single brew. The people complaining about the grounds overflowing must be using an extra fine grind of coffee or something cause I’ve never had that problem. Try a fine-medium grind people. And those complaining about the coffee pot really have me wondering if they’ve ever poured a pot of coffee before. Everything works as it should. Period. The end.
    Looks quite elegant, it’s quiet and most importantly, super convenient. Cheers.

    I read the reviews that said the pot leaked, but never in my life did I realize how much. Whoever designed this pot never drank coffee or has ever studied the designs of a coffee pot. I could not stand the constant pour, pour , drip , drip, drip. Today I replaced the pot with a 12-cup Medelco universal replacement carafe and it works beautifully. I would be embarrassed if I was the representative from Keurig and made such a sorry pot. However, their competitors got it right. Thank you Medelco!!!!!!

    The pot leaks coffee every single we pour. First all over the floor, counter and now we have to pour our coffee over the sink and have to wipe the pot. The pot doesn’t have much of a pouring spout design to the glass and the plastic that’s goes across the area of pour catches the coffee and runs sideways then down the glass on the outside. I need to find an a coffee pot that is compatible with this coffee maker to get rid of this pot. I would not recommend this coffee maker to anyone unless they fixed this issue. Imagine pouring coffee over your nice wooded floors or expensive rug or so forth always having to clean up the floor. It’s a very big hassle and inconvenience for sure. Especially considering how expensive this coffee maker is. Even the cheapos don’t create this mess.

    Love the compact size. I like that I don’t have to remove the coffee pot to use the single cups/pods. I use it mostly for hot water for tea or hot chocolate. It heats up very quickly. Nice when company comes I can make a pot of coffee without having to drag out another coffee maker. It’s very attractive looking. I got the reusable coffee basket also.

    I got the K Duo Special Edition and I am thrilled with the product! By far, more convenient than other types of coffee makers; instructions were easy, and the first pot was perfect (using the scoop that came in the box, and recommendations from manufacturer). I have used it daily for 1-1/2 months now, and have only 2 caveats: – Make sure your coffee grinds are closer to ‘fine’ than ‘course’. The COURSE GRIND will definitely make a WEAK pot or cup of coffee. – In a future model, I would like to see an option to be able to turn the carafe warmer plate back on after the 2 hour window, but it’s such a small thing, hardly a consideration. Using The Pot: – Love that is has a regular coffee basket (rather than a larger pod). Super easy, fast and clean up a breeze. (I use a paper filter.) – The Special Edition carafe does not leak at all. UPDATE: It doesn’t leak for any size pot (unless you overfill grinds when making 10 or 12 cups). – I tested out both the auto brew (using the timer) to start automatically, and the brewing pause (using the carafe button) to pour a cup before it finishes the cycle. Both features worked perfectly. The single cup: – Love that I could use a reusable basket that I still had from a classic keurig machine from 10 years ago… it’s the type with a case (see photo), and you have to pop out the piece in the machine to use it, but so easy to do, takes less than a second to switch them out. In General: – Having the pot side-by-side with the single cup brew is perfect, for easy alternating between choices, and it’s not too big for the counter. (About 10″W×12″D×13″H at widest points.) – I also love that you don’t have to wait for it to warm up. You just press the buttons and walk away. It will warm up, brew, and shut off with no further user interaction. – The water reservoir is great; uses up completely before asking for more water, and it came with a small filter. Overall this is one of the best purchases I have made in years… couldn’t be more pleased.

    Every time you pour from the pot (no matter how full or empty) it leaks on the counter. It is a design defect with the lid. Coffee comes out of the gap between the lid and carafe (even if you hold the lid tight with your hand). Extremely frustrating!! Need to wipe a small pool of coffee from the counter after every pour…or just preemptively lay out paper towels. Not cool after spending so much on a coffee maker!

    I splurged and finally got the Kuerig that I wanted. Very happy with the machine and the way it functions. Very disappointed with the carafe. The way it is made allows for coffee to seep under the rim and drip as you are pouring your coffee. Which is very annoying and frustrating for the money we spent. Thank heavens I did not throw out my Mr Coffee as I have to use that carafe in order not to spill every time we use it. It is unfortunate that when people visit and see the Mr Coffee carafe, it does not look very good on the Keurig name. It would be nice to have a non-dripping Kerrigan carafe to go with my machine.

    DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! Everytime I use the kcup side which is the main side I need, it stops flowing a quarter of the way and then bursts out a ton of coffee grounds into the cup and the top part by the needles creating an enormous mess!! I have read everything I can, made sure the water is filled, I tried 120z, 10oz, 8oz and they all do the same thing! Save your money! This was a Christmas present to myself for my new house and I can’t even use it. Not a happy caffeine addict.

    I’ve had a love/(disappointed) relationship with this machine. Love: the compact/duo function it provides. Disappointed: the carafe drips incessantly. And, even thought I’m super diligent with the cleaning ritual, the motherboard started to go haywire after 2 years. It randomly decides what ‘cup’ serving you’re going to get regardless of what you choose.
    Everything is so disposable these days. Ugh.

    This machine broke in less than six months. I contacted the company for help and they said that will send me a new one. I never got it. When I called back to check up on it, they said I also needed a handwritten note with the coffeemaker in the picture. So, I sent that in as well as the serial number and all the information and they denied my replacement. They said that the pictures didn’t look right. I basically threw out 200.00 dollars on this and they company refuses to honor the warranty. Don’t but this machine. It never worked well and the coffee is not hot enough either. It’s not easy to use and it also makes a lot of noises when it’s brewing. Maybe this is because I got a defective coffee maker.

    The K cup is awesome, easy to use, the dashboard is awesome as well, easy interface. The coffee pot not stop much, and I need to improvise. 1. Coffee comes out way too fast 2. Not all the coffee grounds get wet, much weaker brew then previous coffee pot. Have to add two additional scoops of coffee to get strength I used to have from previous pot. Little disappointed. 3. Wish there was a “strong” feature for coffee pot like the k cup but there isn’t. 4.overall still love having 1 machine for 2 options. And it looks wonderful.

    Love it. Easy to work. Coffee is very hot. Did order Keurig refillable kcup, I drink a lot of coffee and is more reasonable to us than so many kcups.
    So far I am really enjoying my new purchase. It’s an expensive coffee maker but feel is worth the price. Also no leaks from coffee pot, made very well. Diffenently given it a 5.
    When you get before use follow the set up instructions.all will go easy.
    5/31/24 update. Had for few months and the coffee pots drips like crazy makes a mess. Hopefully they gave solved for new buyers. Will see if can find pot that will fit and not drip. Coffee maker itself works fine.
