I am 74 years old and have had many coffeemakers but this one is the absolute worst. It is forever getting clogged and I have tried all the instructions to unclog it. I have used both the cleaning pods and kit and it will work for a cup or two and then stop. Right now I cant get it unstopped and am unable to have my morning cup of coffee. I have had it for all of 2 months and paid over $100 for it. That is ridiculous. I will go back to my simple Mr. Coffee, never had one frustrating day with it!!!

I suppose like most automated coffee makers on the market, the water temperature is too high resulting in a musty flavored cup of coffee. I’m used to using an electric tea kettle with varied temperature settings and a simple AeroPress, 185 degrees seems to be the top end for a rich, flavorful cup of coffee. I’ve even tried using a re useable K cup with the same ground beans used in the AeroPress and the result is still musty.
