   This is my third Keurig. It is also the lowest quality Keurig I’ve ever owned. The plastic is very cheap and feels like it’s going to break. When you put in a K cup the top does not close (picture is included) 100% like previous models, I would not recommend purchasing this for this price. I purchased this on sale and it’s still not worth the price. Keurig should be ashamed of themselves.

   I got this Keurig from my kids for my birthday on September 9, 2023. It has worked pretty well for just under a year. descaling light only came on once. I did the descaling process, no problems. We have 5 people in our house, so we use it several times a day. But this morning, it died. While trying to make my coffee, it made some strange sputtering noises, emitted a burnt odor and shut off. I opened the top, took the pod out, put a new one in unplugged it, plugged it back in. Nothing. No light, no power. It’s like completely dead. If I wasn’t sure the outlet worked, I would think the cord had been cut. I googled some things about it. Seems a common problem, something with the internal thermostat. Some people try to “take it apart themselves and reset it,” but that type of project is not for me. Nice thing is, I was within the one year window. And even though I had not set up an account with Keurig when I bought the coffee machine or registered the product, they are still going to send me another one free of charge. All I need to do is send them proof of purchase and a picture of the serial number. Glad I got it on coffeemakers.us.com and could screen shot the order information to send them via email. They also want the broken coffee maker back, but they are sending me a label, so that’s fine too. It’s an aggravation that it didn’t even last a year, but admirable that they are standing behind their product. Hopefully this one will last longer.

   I bought this as an upgrade from my old Keurig. It was working fine but I was ready for an upgrade. This is definitely an upgrade! I love the white color and the sleek design versus the typical bulky black. It really compliments my kitchen. It has 4 brew settings, a “strong” button and an “ice” button. Just a minor note , I noticed that the lid sits up a little when a pod is in but it could be because it’s a non Keurig pod. It doesn’t seem to affect anything.

    Im a daily coffee drinker, this machine paid itself off in less than 2 months with how often I used to pass through my local coffee shop on the way to the office. Im an iced coffee drinker, so I eventually picked up the Keurig hyper chiller and I am one happy camper given that this machine also has an “Iced Coffee” mode. Makes it just perfect without melting too much ice. I also like to seem super awesome and offer my guests a coffee, which I didn’t use to do. Just buy one, it makes you cooler. Pros: – Easy to use. – Massive amount of k-cup flavors including coffees, hot chocolate, teas, and fruit drinks. – Easy to clean. The pull out tray and cleaning mode make it easy. Also cleaning k-cups are descaling solutions are available everywhere. Negatives: – If you like to waste money at coffee shops, this is not the machine for you.

    Quiet, compact, easy to refill the water, makes great coffee. The pearlized white colour is beautiful but the machine’s white backsplash and drip tray require constant wiping and cleaning to prevent staining. The same isn’t true for the stainless steel and black models.

    Our old keurig of many years died and we have been looking for a new one. Finally found this one and it was on sale. It took a while to figure out how to use but once we did it was easy. The hardest part is getting the right reusable K cup. The first ones we bought didn’t work. The second ones, New Design Keurig, My K-cup, reusable coffee filter (picture above) work. The instructions are missing, however. Go to Just Dad, Keurig reusable K-cup for instructions. It makes a lot of sense and works! Great cup of coffee.

    I had have been looking for a while to replace my current Kurtis coffee maker. I loved my first one, but when it needed to be replaced I couldn’t find anything different to replace it other than the same one I had-my current one. I didn’t want the same old style so I continued to use it by putting a napkin under it to absorb the slow leak it had. I looked at other brands but nothing inspired me to buy anew one. My daughter and her coffee loving husband from out of town were visiting and somehow the subject of coffee makers came up. He mentioned how much he liked his Kuerig. All my searching and this was news to me He went to Kuerig’s website and showed me his. It had everything I wanted – updated style, easy to fill water container on the side with a handle and a lid that was easy to put on and couldn’t fall off, sometimes into the water itself 🤬. Stylish and not too big. It was everything I wanted. I went immediately to coffeemakers.us.com, where I had been searching to begin with, and hoped they had it. They did. How did I not find it before??? What a delightful improvement. I love this Kurtis (so does my husband who’s motto is, “It’s got another thousand miles on it,” that I had to share my joy, along with a photo of this jem so you don’t have to dispair like I did. One more thing, it’s faster and prettier and makes an even better cup of coffee.

    I plan to return it. It’s beautiful, compact and buttons are self-explanatory but the coffee is moody in terms of how strong it comes out even when I keep the same settings (strong/10). Also, on the first brew, the cover flushed nicely, now it remains partially open sprinkling coffee around. I am very disappointed because a friend recommended it. I’ll have to return it.

    I’m liking this Keurig machine even more than I expected. After years of using the big, wide machines with all the bells and whistles, this design is turning out to be just what I need. I’ve been through several models of Keuring machines, and when my last machine died a slow and painful death I was forced to start looking for a replacement. The newer designs were something of a surprise to me, and I was a bit skeptical at first, but then I realized something important. Nowadays, I only drink three cups of coffee a day. Why do I need timers and screens and all that bother. The new machine is sleek and fits in a small counter space between my refrigerator and the stovetop. It’s convenient to use and brews my first morning cup fast. I was pleased to see how quickly the brew cycle begins. It also includes just the choices I need … brew size (I like the 6 oz cup size) and the “strong” button. I’ve never brewed coffee over ice but I’ve order some ice brew pods to try out that alternative just out of curiosity. Some people have noted an improved taste with the new design that pierces the pod with four extra holes for the water to pass through. I can’t really distinguish a taste difference, but it does make sense to me that flowing the water more evenly through the grounds in the pod is a better method. I reached the point where I wanted to simplify rather than add more tech to the simple task of brewing a good cup of coffee. This machine sure answers that need.

    I love the new design, it’s easier to refill the reservoir, it has a charcoal filter that can be changed and it’s way faster than the other device which needed to “warm up” prior to using. You can use this immediately, in fact it will turn on automatically if you lift to place a pod in it. Also comes with a strength button and Iced button for more control over strength. However, it’s about 3/8″ to 1/2″ shorter than the Original Model which stopped working (after 14yrs, not bad). So if you use the 24oz Yeti or similar brand mug, it will not fit, even if you remove the bottom tray. For those who use this size when you leave for work, you’ll be disappointed. I will say, that I have no idea if the standard model (which is slightly redesigned) has this same issue. For those wondering how I fill a cup that large? I pick the 12oz setting first, then up and close the device while keeping the same pod in and then pick the 8oz fill size. Comes out perfect.

    I had a K-Compact for about 3 years before it very suddenly stopped working. I had no complaints during that time. You did *occasionally* have coffee grounds leakage if your needle got clogged but it was otherwise pretty flawless. From day one brew one, this machine has spilled grounds into every drink. To be more specific, the initial coffee is generally fine, but grounds get all over the 4 silver metal puncturing structures and subsequently into any drink you brew for the next 2-3 brew cycles. You must brew 2-3 cycles of plain water after every coffee pod you use to clean it. You may still have a few rogue grounds that get into subsequent drinks. I use this for tea a lot so this is a significant problem beyond not wanting grounds in my actual coffees. I would recommend sticking with the original simpler single stream machines. The problematic metal puncturing structures relate to the multi-stream brewing process this machine boasts. Keep it simple.

    Update 10-04-24 Still works (knock on wood LOL). I brew 3 cups every day using a 50:50 mix of purified water and spring water when refilling the tank. These “Topadorn” mugs (here on coffeemakers.us.com) fit perfectly without having to remove the drip tray. 10oz setting won’t fill the mug, but the tall mug keeps the coffee from splattering onto the machine and counter. Plenty of room left for hot milk or whipping cream 😉 I unplug the machine after every use, hoping this will contribute to longer life of the Keurig. Yesterday was not a good day in my house because my “Keurig K45 Elite Brewing System” died after about 9 1/2 years of faithful daily service. Today my new Keurig arrived, and I am almost happy the old one died! My kitchen is small and the last machine was bulky compared to this. I love that the water reservoir of this Keurig can be positioned either on the side of the machine or behind it, and unlike my old machine (and some current models) there is a sturdy handle on the reservoir which makes handling it so much easier. I switched its position from side to back of machine which was super easy to do, no tools required. Freed up so much more counter space in my kitchen where every square inch counts LOL. My last machine was white and I was tempted to buy another white one but ended up buying the black one because it was about $27 cheaper than the white model. In my opinion a small black appliance does not look bad in a white kitchen, and I am actually glad now I didn’t buy white because every little splatter of coffee shows on white, I was constantly wiping down my old machine. Now I only just hope this machine will last as long as the old one. If any issues were to come up I’ll be back here.

    I was happy to have this white Keurig. My old one failed and I like this new version. The water tank is clear so it’s easy to see if it is low on water. It has options for different sizes of coffee from 6 to 12 ounces. I also purchased the official My Keurig to use my own coffee rather than buying pods. This new system makes better coffee than my old Keurig since the new multi flow technology send water through the coffee in more than one place. This works well and the handle is easy to push down. Note that if you use the My Keurig you must remove the holder.

    RECOMMENDATION: Big Thumbs up – you actually get more out of each coffee pod with this new coffee maker THE GOOD: 1. Keurig replaced the water boiler in older units with a new heat-on-demand system that only heats water as it is brewing the coffee. This solves one of the biggest problems with the old units – they had to keep water hot all the time so they bled heat/energy and thus were expensive to operate. That completely goes away with this new design. 2. There is a new injector system that punctures the top of the pod and injects the hot water into the coffee grounds in the pod. The number of injectors increases from 1 to 5. The net effect is that the water is better distributed throughout the grounds and thus you get more coffee out of each pod. The coffee that I brew through this new unit using the 8oz and ‘Strong’ setting (see below) is the same strength as what I used to get on my older units on the 6oz setting. 3. The water reservoir can be positioned to the side or rear of the unit, which is good for fitting into narrower spaces. 4. There is a ‘Strong’ setting what slows down the brewing process to get more flavor out of the pods. I love this as it gets more coffee out of each pod. 5. There is also an ‘iced’ setting for making iced coffee by actually brewing over ice, but have not tested that setting. THE BAD: 1. The first couple seconds when the brewing starts, the coffee stream coming out of the maker is mostly just regular water and not coffee yet. That is because it takes the heat-on-demand system a few seconds to get hot enough to start actually start brewing coffee. That means that you can’t yank the coffee cup out from the unit after the first half of the brew cycle to get just the strongest coffee and thus the Keurig equivalent of an expresso.

    I recently purchased this Keurig Coffee Maker to replace my old one and put together my little coffee bar. The size is perfect, it is not too big or too small. It makes several cups of coffee before it needs a refill. It heats very quickly and the multi puncture on top of the pod makes for really good coffee. My only concern when I opened it was the water dispenser side seemed a little unsteady, but once I filled it with water and placed it in the holder it was much better. I have no worries with it now. Really happy with my purchase.

    Our first K-Cup machine was a basic, one cup at a time off-brand unit that we bought for less than $30, mainly to try out the K-Cup concept. The concept was good, but the one cup at a time aspect quickly got old. Next came a unit with a 30 ounce tank, once again an off-brand ($65). The bigger reservoir was an improvement, but with our 20 ounce mugs it still required more frequent refilling than was optimum. Also, the first one leaked right out of the box and had to be returned and, while the replacement did not leak, it lasted only six month before the electronics failed. It was time to step up to an even bigger reservoir and the real deal, a Keurig. After researching the various models within our price comfort zone, we ordered the 66 ounce reservoir K-Supreme. We’ve had it only a week or so, but so far it’s very satisfactory. I like the tank size, ease of refill, serving size selections, the five nozzle multi-flow dispenser, and how fast it brews. It’s much quicker than our previous units, almost instantaneous. I will update this review if any problems are encountered, but so far I would recommend this unit, especially at the price we paid for new in unsealed box ($106). Even at the currently listed full price ($133), I think it compares well to other name brand units with similar features in that price range. Note: Some reviews of this and other coffee makers complain about splatter from the cup during the brew cycle.. Our last (off-brand) maker had an adjustable height cup platform, which wasn’t perfect but did prevent most of the splatter. The K-Supreme does not have an adjustable platform, which was a feature we liked and wanted in our new maker but its absence wasn’t a deal killer. However, we discovered with the K-S that a small (5 ounce), unopened tuna can fits perfectly under our 20 ounce mugs and raises them to where there is zero splatter (see photo). Remove the label from the can and it looks like it belongs there. Smaller cups may require two stacked cans.

    This was a lovely coffee maker for people who don’t have a lot of time in the morning. Easy to use, easy to clean, and consistent. However, after light use for 4 months, it stopped working. I pressed brew, it started to work, and then stopped after a few seconds and I smelled burning plastic/wires. I called Keurig and they were quick to respond as it was still under warranty. Sounds like there is a recurrent issue with the wiring.

The water capacity last about a week depending on how many cups drank. I love the black and the fact that it is very light weight. The machine was worth every penny.     I love this model Keurig, it has most of the features I like, and it is Not Smart (WiFi connected). I previously owned 3 of the Smart Models with various problems from Errors after automatic updates, to pump failures. The Support was terrible on the Smart units. The First Level of Support followed a Script and they were not knowledgeable. If you’re lucky, just contact coffeemakers.us.com and they will send you another one. This unit has no internet connection, you insert your k-cup push the number of ounces and it makes your coffee. My only fear is the pump going out, but I only use Distilled Water which protects you from descaling. My experience proves Keurig is not ready for smart.

    I did not check measurements before ordering.Unit is tall and fortunately fits in the cabinet space above, but as you can see from pics is too tall to open if I moved it towards the front. But as long as it’s back towards the wall I can open the top to change the kcup.Large visible water reservoir. Coffee quality better because it pokes multiple holes in the k cup. Overall I’m happy – just wish it were slightly shorter.

    OK was cleaning my old Keurig, you know the one that made a lot of noise when the water went into the back tank. The big bulky old first design Keurig that I’ve had for eight years. Love this new one , it was time for upgrade and boy is this upgraded. There is no noise. It’s so thin works amazingly. Haven’t had a cuppa coffee out of it. That’ll be tomorrow morning, but I can’t wait! The new jet design should be wonderful. Just saying I should’ve done this years ago.

    I can’t say enough about this machine. It makes me happy every time I look at it. It’s quieter than my Duo or Classic were, and holds more water. It doesn’t take up a lot of space on my counter as it’s more compact than my old machines were. There are a couple of minor cons; first, the tiny bit of spatter that it creates does show more on the grey plastic plate behind your cup so a little more wiping down is required and second, the adapter that you use to brew your own ground coffee or tea (non-pods), requires you to pop out the current basket that comes with the machine, to install the adapter. If you use only ground coffee or lose leaf tea bags, it’s no big deal. Just leave the basket out and use the adapter every time. But if you switch off between pods and fresh ground, it can get to be a bit of a pain. I circumvent that issue by using a steeping cup for my husband’s tea bags and pods for my coffee. Overall, I love this machine more than any other Keurig I’ve owned. Another reviewer videoed the carafe jiggling. If you push it down until it clicks in, it won’t jiggle. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and just love it. No problems.
