   Very disappointed with this machine. The water tank is so poorly made that one of the clips to hold the top broke while washing. I kept it because I was excited to enjoy dolce gusto coffee cups here in the US. That decision proved to be a bad one. Here we are 7 months later and the machine no longer works. I reached out to the contacts in the warranty pages and have received no response. Do not purchase this poorly made machine. The company does not respond. I would give less than 1 star if I could.

   I love this machine. I especially love the design; it looks different. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because it has two issues that can be annoying at times. First the machine drips after using it (so you have to leave your cup on the tray and wait) or your constantly washing the drip tray. Second I use the Nescafé pods. After making my coffee the pod gets stuck and it’s not so easy to remove and you have to pay attention to the rubber gasket that constantly falls out with the pod. I actually threw it away once because it stay connected to the pod itself and I didn’t notice. So when I made the next cup of coffee it was a disaster. You need that gasket in place to make your coffee. Maybe the manufacturer will upgrade this machine and make it greater in the future.

   We bought our machine and after a few months it stopped working. Trisha Mae Dumas was our c/s person and was TERRIFIC!! she walked us thru the process of getting a replacement. Without her help we both would have gone elsewhere. The new machine works wonderful and we have coffee again. Thanks to you Trisha Mae Dumas. Yay!!!!!

   I’m addicted to coffee. I enjoy coffee a lot, specifically good coffee. Where I am, I only had a Keurig coffee pot. This is when I am away from my main home. It was okay but I found myself wanting to go to a barista to have a delicious cup of coffee. I saw this on coffeemakers.us.com and I immediately ordered it. It arrived in a timely fashion. Thanks to coffeemakers.us.com. Fantastic delivery system. It was undamaged. The first thing that surprised me was its compact size. That’s not something to be negative because I needed a smaller coffee maker. What attracted me to this Kotlie was its multi functions. My wife will only drink K Cup coffee. I love espresso coffee. I could not make espresso with the Keurig. The Kotlie will make espresso and K cups. A marriage made in heaven for me. The first thing after unpacking, I read the instructions manual. I was not familiar with the various pod containers. The instructions were easy to understand and helpful. I made my first espresso with the Kotlie. It was delicious. Next my wife made a K Cup of coffee for herself. We were both satisfied with the brews. I have been using this Kotlie for more that a week and wished I had this earlier in my life. Let’s look at my thoughts about this coffee maker. What I like: Makes multiple kind of coffee, K Cup and ground espresso. I have not used it for the others. Compact size but a full one liter water reservoir. The reservoir is removable and also has a simple trap lid for refilling with water with out having to remove it. The drip tray can be adjusted to prevent splashing when using shorter cups. Operation is easy to understand and make coffee with various settings. Features I would like, a warning light when water in the reservoir is low. What about the favor of the coffee? With the K Cup it is the same as using a Keurig maker. With espresso, it is very good. The espresso is true to being just that. This Kotlie extracts the flavor perfectly. I am fussy with my coffee and this one does not disappoint. Yes you actually have to measure the coffee ground and use the tamper tool. The Kotlie is almost automatic after that. Folks, this is the best coffee maker I have ever owned. I have used several other brand espresso coffee makers but this one is by far the best.

   I wanted something to save some money from buying lattes and cappuccinos but didn’t want the hassle of an actual barista machine. This is a good middle ground to suit those needs. The machine comes with various tray sizes to accommodate everything from K cups to Nespresso pods. It’s very versatile and easy to use. You can even put in your own grounds if you want. I fired it up with a Nespresso pod and also used an electric frother for the milk. Within 5 minutes I had an at home cappuccino that rivals coffee shop flavor. The instructions were super user friendly and the machine worked flawlessly. I can’t wait to experiment with flavors like caramel macchiato. This will pay for itself in a couple of months.

   The coffee machine started leaking after 2 months and stopped working completely after 4 months. Do not waste your money unless you are aware that it’s going to last for a couple of months only.

   The Kotlie with the Dolce Gusto pods made my favorite coffee of all time. I caught myself bragging to people about my coffee and sharing many a “cuppa” with them. The Cappuccino quickly because my overall favorite. I stopped going to coffee shops because none of them could compare. I recently stocked up on the pods because sometimes they are hard to get. The day my pot ceased to work, after having it for only 10 weeks, was a sad day indeed. I have tried to contact the company, I watched YouTube DIY’s but to no avail. I am hoping I can get a response to this review to resolve this issue. I LOVED this coffee.

    Had our first one of these about 4 months ago and was very happy with the machine. Unfortunately the handle snapped and afer contacting KOTLIE customer service, who were extremely helpful, they gave us a full refund. I ordered another machine which leaked so I returned it and ordered another one. This one arrived and I was pleased as it didn’t leak but unfortunately the water no matter what I tried did not heat up, the side of the machine was very hot. So again I have had to return to coffeemakers.us.com. Disappointed as I said the manufacture of the machine is poor but the customer service was excellent. Sad as I did love the coffee machine but doubt I will order a fourth one after this.

    I purchased the Kotlie brand to replace my Dolce Gusto Genio 2. I am pleased with the pod flexibility l, being compatible with the Dolce Gusto pods and other popular coffee machine pods. The Kotlie machine brews delicious cappuccino, expresso, Cafe Aulait, etc. Great value for your money. ADDENDUM TO MY AUGUST 2024 REVIEW. I purchased the Kotlie 5 in 1 Espresso machine in August 2024 to replace, evidently discontinued Dolce Gusto Genio 2 machine since the Kotlie was compatible with the Dolce Gusto Capsules. The brewing wasn’t as rich or hot as the Dolce Gusto, but adequate. Today the machines lights began flashing up and down the scale like a seizure. Troubleshooting says machine malfunction contact mfg for repairs. Nope not paying postage from USA to China, Germany or the UK for repairs. I will buy another from another company. Disappointed 😞
