   I gave this coffee maker a 4 star rating, although it is more of a 4.5… Very easy to use, compact enough for those with limited counter space, easy to clean, and I like the silver and gray contemporary design. Makes a delicious cup of coffee, and even a strong cup for those days when you need the extra help in the morning. It keeps the coffee hot for a long time (especially great for lazy weekends, when you want to sip coffee throughout the morning). The only reason I am not rating it as a 5 is because, as you are pouring water, it is hard to see if you reached the full level or not (of course, I may just need new eye glasses). I have to take the coffee filter out to really view my water level. It is certainly not a big inconvenience in consideration of the other advantages. A great coffee maker for the price.

   love this coffee maker, it replaces identical model i had before as a wedding gift. today it had a short and caught on fire… burned the cable and plastic on the rear…see pictures….luck it happened while i was standing there !!! could have been a larger fire !! will attempt to contact them but i think i am out of warranty….

   We are on our 2nd Krups coffee maker. The first one lasted for a good long time. This one (KT611D50) lacks a few days of lasting nine months. Am hoping either coffeemakers.us.com (we purchased it from coffeemakers.us.com) or Krups will kick in and replace the unit quickly. While it worked, it made great coffee. Programmed it so coffee was ready when we get up. Worked great, just not for very long.

   Very good machine and Seller. If I had one complaint is it’s difficult to fill the water tray as the lid gets in the way.

   Coffee pot is appealing to look at and makes decent coffee is why I give it one star. But with that being said, I should of believed reviews that said it was close to impossible to fill with water. But the real problem is randomly the lid will pop up, and the coffee will brew regardless if timer is set. Unfortunately we didn’t catch it once out of the three times it has happened and we are now replacing ceiling tiles in basement because of overflow. This is my 3rd Krups coffee pot but will not be buying another. No longer Krups fan:(

   These coffee machines work great when they work, my first one lasted 7 years, 2nd one 3 months and third 8 months, NO, I would not recommend this coffee maker, it is just not dependable…
