Do not expect brass, this is aluminum with a decent finish on it. if you plan to adjust it too much it may scratch the finish after a while, but mine is set to the height I need and I do not expect to adjust it again.

Look cute serves the purpose well, I use it every day. The quality isn’t the best though – the bottom part is covered in wood-patterned film (it’s not actual wood) and the seams aren’t very neat.
