   I bought this because I needed a coffee maker. My Keurig conveniently decided to act wonky after a year of use and definitely out of warranty. This coffee maker does it’s job. The downside is that this unit does not have an automatic shut off (which if you absolutely need, don’t get this coffee maker). It was not a deal breaker for me however in that I tend to be cooking when I make coffee so I can turn this off once done.

   I should add, that before using this, I diluted some vinegar, filled the maker to maximum, and ran it through a few times before using water to rinse. That helped tremendously with the plastic smell. You have to keep using this thing to truly get rid of it..

   For the cost it’s a perfect little coffee maker. The only thing I dislike is, the glass carafe is a bit to thin. I’m already on my second one after 3 months because the carafe is just to fragile. Just don’t wash/rinse right after being on the burner and you’ll be set. Otherwise it’s a good little coffee maker.

   I am the only person in our hose hold that drinks coffee and this little coffee maker is great for one person. Does not take up much space on the counter top. I have mine plugged into an Alexa smart plug and prepare it before going to bed. The next morning I ask Alexa to turn on coffee make.

   I am a coffee snob, what can I say, I was born and raised in Seattle. I have a french press, an espresso maker and now this drip pot. It is perfect for the “just me” household and holds heat REALLY well, which is an issue I’ve had w/smaller pots before. Enjoy!

   It doesn’t have an automatic shut off, which means if you forget to shut it off, the pot heats up too much and shatters when you gi to rinse it out, like mine did.
