   I personally have been using a Keurig for years and recently changed to using a reusable stainless-steel K-Cups. These weren’t very good since it allowed more particles and oil to seep into the coffee. My wife has been doing pour over coffee for a while. First, she got the stainless-steel filter that goes over a cup. Then she got the one that comes with a glass carafe. Each time she was using a Pyrex measuring cup to pour hot water. She had very little control of how much and where she pours the water. So, she had been eyeing the gooseneck kettle. I decided to start trying the pour over method myself. When I saw this set, I figured I could get my own filter since I use different coffee than her, and get the gooseneck kettle she’s been wanting. I must say, I do not like the inconvenience of standing there and pouring the water. I am so used to pushing a button, and walking away to do some stuff and coming back to the coffee. That being said, this makes much better coffee and you have a lot more control over the coffee than a Keurig. So even though I don’t like standing there pouring the coffee, it is well worth it. The 2-tablespoon scoop is solid and heavy. It is not a thin cheap scoop. There is heft to it. I really like it and use it scoop coffee each time. It’s a good size to have. The stainless-steel filter and glass carafe is are nice. Nothing too special about them. It is about the same quality and works the same as the other one we have, but it has a higher capacity. The handle on it is a bit thin for my liking. Overall, it seems to be thin and light and I am afraid I may break it by mistake by hitting it lightly on something. So far it hasn’t so it may be stronger than it looks and feels. Once nice thing about doing this over a Keurig is that I can leave the last bit of coffee in the carafe that usually has the heavier particles in it. The gooseneck kettle is definitely my favorite part. Seems to be well made and pours very well. It pours fast enough if you want it to, and slow enough to do drips at a time. You can watch YouTube videos on what people think is the best way to pour. I like to do it slowly and move it around to make sure all the grounds get equally covered. I love the thermometer on it. It allows me to stop the heat right before it gets to the boiling point and/or hot enough to where I can start drinking it without having to wait for it to cool down. One thing to note is that if you fill up the kettle to the top, and pour the water directly into the carafe, it will measure up to the top line. But in reality, if you pour over the coffee, a lot of water is lost in the coffee grinds and from the steam. So, you cannot really fill it to the top of the carafe. Luckily, I don’t need that much coffee at one go and so it is not an issue for me. I’m sure if they did make the kettle big enough to fill that much at one go, then it would be much heavier and not as easy to use.

   I love my London Sip Pour Over Coffee Maker Set! Every piece is such nice quality, with a strong build. The gooseneck kettle is wonderful, and it holds roughly 1200 ml. The RITETEMP feature is really convenient because it helps me get the right temperature for different types of drinks that I make. The glass carafe is very nice, it feels like a high end glass pitcher. The stainless steel filter works perfectly and makes very smooth coffee. The coffee spoon is legit the nicest feeling coffee spoon ever, it’s so smooth and has some nice weight to it and works great for measuring your coffee. I’m so in love with this Coffee Pour Over Set because it gives such a good vibe when you’re making your coffee, it feels more traditional. This set makes brewing coffee a lovely experience and something to enjoy. It reminds me to slow down and enjoy the process. This set would also be great for making tea as well. I love using this coffee set in the morning, I keep it on the table and everybody enjoys sharing coffee together. It’s quite the vibe! This coffee set is great for one person or for sharing with others. I highly recommend this to everyone who drinks tea or coffee. You can make awesome quality coffee, great memories, and experiences that will last a life time with this coffee set.

   with all these products that are very similar in design it’s almost as if they are all from the same factory in china. however logical that seems i actually thought if i bought the more expensive one it would be a better quality.

   i will say it’s not bad quality at all, it works as advertised but the bottom is extremely thin. as somebody who tries to buy better quality items but have fewer things i am a little disappointed.

   I am pretty much used to automatic drip coffee so this is a new adventure for me. This pour over set is not only tastefully engineered and beautifully made but it makes a fine cup of coffee. It takes a bit more time and a bit more patience brewing coffee this way but the result is so much better. This set includes everything necessary for making that perfect cup. The gooseneck kettle with the thermometer built into the lid, the 1200ml glass carafe, the stainless steel filter and 2 tablespoon scoop are elegant to look at. They all come together to produce perfection in a cup. I love everything about this set and I highly recommend it.

   The “vertical” sides of the body is stainless…
   The spout is stainless…
   The bottom is NOT???
   The bottom takes all the heat, so why would it not be stainless?
   After about 6 months of laying on the counter, the bottom started rusting…bad.

   I love this, I don’t make coffee with it or use the glass pitcher and strainer often but i did use it with loose leaf tea and it turned out pretty good. However the kettle I love, i use it daily for heating up water for tea and it cleans up easily too. Love the built in thermometer to know the temp of the water and that it has markings for the temp for things like kids, milk, different types of teas, and coffee to make sure it doesn’t get too hot or burn the tea. Since getting this the tea has tasted a whole lot better when getting the water to the right temp for the type of tea.

   The worst time it was to clean was when i accidently burnt milk in it and the ledge in the bottom was really hard to clean. Since then I’ve only used water in it and I have well water which tends to be hard on anything that uses water a lot with limescale build up happening quickly but this is every easy to clean up.

    This is a nice set that includes just about everything you need to brew enough coffee for you and a few friends! I bought this as an option to make more than just 1 cup which is what I usually do since I’m the only coffee drinker in the house. Each item comes in its own box. When I unpacked each item, I was impressed with how everything looks. The logo is tastefully placed on each item which gives it a nice look. I really like that the kettle has a thermometer at the top so yo know exactly how hot the water needs to be depending on what you’re trying to make. The metal coffee filter is a great feature that helps when you don’t have any coffee filters. I can’t wait to try it out and make more than 1 cup when I have company over!

    My wife says I’m a coffee snob, and she’s probably right. I just like coffee and the various ways to make it. If you’ve never had a pour-over, you’re missing out. It’s just…better. I don’t always have time for it but it’s great when I do. I used to have a set years ago but it was broken by my daughter. I jumped at the chance to try this out, and I’m glad I did. Everything is super nice, and it was packaged very well. The carafe is great, I love the kettle with the integrated thermometer, and the spoon, though I won’t use it, is probably the heaviest spoon I’ve ever held. For me the real winner is the filter basket. Though perhaps a bit fragile, I really like the fineness of the filter screen. For my first use I used 18 grams of freshly home-roasted Ethiopian beans, ground on a medium setting. The kettle gives a very nice laminar pour, and the screen is perfect for holding the water enough to get a nice bloom, but it also flows well enough to keep the process moving. I noticed that the very bottom of the cone is sealed and hoped it would catch most of the coffee powder that comes through, but no luck. If you like pour-over you’re used to it. Overall totally a five star set. If you or a friend is a coffee lover (or snob) this is a fantastic set.

    I like the gooseneck kettle with a temperature gauge. I love this carafe it looks like an Erlenmeyer flask with a handle. The stainless reusable filter is unique in its design and the fit to the carafe is excellent. I also like the silicone holder on the filter, is a thoughtful feature. It holds 8 cups. I rinsed and cleaned it and boiled off a test pot before making my first cup and I was not disappointed. I do not know how the same coffee tastes so much better than from my drip maker. This is a great gift for any coffee lover. I have used it twice today.

    We’ve tried all the things in our household, and I got so tired of the French press. A friend of mine does pour-over method and I thought she’s just old fashioned and very patient. I like the convenience of automatic everything but hate cleaning the machines. This kit gives you everything you need, no trying to fit things together and struggle with it going everywhere. Neat, easy, and no more wasteful filters, plastic k-cups, etc. You can make as much or as little as you need. The problem? You have to stand there and pour the water over the grounds. But it’s worth it. You’d think a basic old percolater does the same thing, but pour-over gives you much more control. My husband geeks out more over the little details, but what I do know about the method is that it tastes fresher, and the time I used to get cranky about spending is actually a little ritual I enjoy. It makes me slow down for a little bit and that is something we could all agree is good.

    The carafe is a little delicate, but we’ve been careful with it and it hasn’t broken yet. Cleaning the kettle is easy, just boil some vinegar and it gets all the build-up right out. The carafe and filter are easy to clean each morning. I love it!
