   I really enjoyed my BeanPlus My Dutch. It makes really complex and bright notes compared to espresso machines, and completely different from long-steep cold brews like the Toddy which produces the same chocolaty notes with all but the worst of beans. It does require some adjusting of the flow rate using the stopcock, but so does the Yama Glass method. I’ve been really happy with the quality of the cold brew from this. It’s really a satisfying experience, especially when you taste the fruits of your labors.

   I eventually gave this to my nephew because I got a huge Yama glass tower, but I regret that purchase, because the large Yama tower doesn’t work well at all. Somehow the water always manages to cut a small path through the grounds, leaving at least half of the grounds dry. So I’ve been looking for another smaller Dutch cold brew setup, and I noticed this again. I’d like a slightly larger and easier setup (I’m looking at Super Automatic espresso machines w/ cold extraction), but I highly recommend the My Dutch products if you don’t mind the satisfying analog method involving setting up, grinding, pouring, tamping, adjusting, and waiting for the amazing results!
