   This Masontops Cold Brew maker is the perfect size for making iced coffee. I didn’t want a huge container to store in our fridge, and this jar makes the perfect amount of iced coffee or tea. I followed the directions and made a medium brew, using 8 tablespoons of ground coffee to 2 cups of water. I put it in the fridge overnight and had delicious iced coffee the next day. What makes this kit easy is the brew chamber, which is where you put your coffee grinds. The chamber is made of stainless steel with a very fine mesh, and is so easy to clean. Just dump the used chamber grinds into the garbage and wash the jar and the chamber, and you’re ready for the next batch! I used to make iced coffee by putting water and grinds into a pitcher and straining the mixture through cheesecloth at the end. What a mess! This brew maker is so much easier and clean up is a breeze. 5 stars!

   I really like this cold brew jar. Compared to most other cold brew systems this is very slim and fits easily into the door of your fridge or any other area where a normal bottle would fit. The glass container, as well as the metal strainer and the plastic lid and strainer holder are well made and sturdy, yet they all are also easy to clean. All you have to do is fill the mesh strainer with ground coffee until the right mark and then fill the whole container with cold water and keep it in the fridge for 18-24 hours. It also comes with a small fridge magnet which gives instructions how to make brews of different strength. After removing the filter, you can mix it with your favorite flavors, sweeteners and cream and then drink right from the jar, or pour it over ice and serve it that way. I love this new way of making cold smooth and delicious coffee.

   I love this cold brewer and it makes awesome cold brew coffee!

   While cleaning the brew chamber, I noticed it was separating. So I emailed the company & sent them photos. They responded quickly and sent a replacement right away. (I only expected a replacement brew chamber… they sent a complete kit! On a long weekend too!) I am so greatful!

   If you enjoy cold brew coffee…. this is the kit for you! Super easy to use & cleaning it is a breeze! Makes excellent coffee every time. The hardest part is waiting for the coffee to brew.

   I chose this model cause I broke 2 previous models and I wanted to try a different model. So I wanted this item to work for me without any glitches. Look closely above the “o” in for and you can see the imperfection. A crack on the bottom of the mason jar on the outside, does not affect the inside glass. I’m thinking to return or exchange.

   I bought this because of Tiktok, they made it seem really simple and it looks well made and it is. I liked that it has measurements on the side and the magnet that comes with it.

   The stainless steel mesh filter always lets grinds through no matter how coarse I make the grinds. I had to get additional disposable mesh brewing bags to put the grinds in and I put that in the stainless steel mesh filter.

   I still really like this cold brew maker, it’s very easy to clean and use besides that. It makes enough for 2 cups of cold brew for me ( I dilute a lot with milk so keep that in mind) I always found cold brew i made previously to go bad quick so this keeps it fresh.

   I do prefer brewing it on the counter at room temp for 18-20 hours even though everyone who uses this I see brews in the fridge.

    On paper, or rather in the advertisement on the coffeemakers.us.com website, this product seems ideal. The card against the container in the advertisement states ‘ Complete instructions at masontops.com/brew’, and as the instructions accompanying the item itself are very brief I went to the website but there are no such instructions. I sent Masontops an email mentioning this and requesting the instructions but my email has been ignored. As a result I intend to return the item as without the ‘complete instructions’ it is unusable. BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT AND OF MASONTOPS!

    Love the physical profile of this product great if your fridge space is limited.The stainless steel infuser screws into the mason jar adapter quite securely no coffee grinds in the brew.The issue is with the adapter poorly machined crooked threads so when the lid is on pouring the cold brew it leaks.Poor quality control.No response from the manufacturer to an email that was sent.

    I love the fact that it can be poured or drank from directly even while the grounds are in there. The pictures don’t do it justice but the way it is designed keep the grounds away but still let you drink. It is a little on the small side. I pretty much drink what I make each day.

    … and this cold brew system is no exception. My first attempt at cold-brew coffee ever and it was so simple to do. I chose the “concentrate” level and left it to brew for 24 hours after giving a nice shake. I was surprised to see that with one shake, the room-temperature water in the jar was already starting to look like coffee. (The picture I included was taken after the “shake” and had only brewed for a couple of minutes.) Since I chose the concentrate recipe, when the brew time was up I added about half a cup of the finished cold brew to a cup and filled with boiling water to have a warm cup. It tasted smooth and a little weak so I will need to play with the timing, amount of coffee, different grind, etc. This item is good quality with a heavy glass jar and a stainless basket for the ground coffee. Everything fit together well and cleaned up easily in the top rack of my dishwasher. If you like cold brew coffee, I recommend this Masontops version.
