Looks great, but when you pour in hot water to make your coffee the body of the carafe pops out due to heating the air inside the body of the insulated carafe. The bottom of the carafe becomes unstable making the product wobble on your table instead of sitting nicely as you would expect. Not a well-designed product, and I cannot recommend it.

Easy pour. Easy clean. Use all the screens all the time to minimize residue. Makes great coffee when using distilled water, which also reduces mineral deposits in the water boiler and on the surface of the press.
In short, this press is excellent in all aspects: easy to use, easy to pour out of, easy to clean and keeps the coffee warm. Plus there’s no plastic cups to add to the recycled environment.

Easy to use clean, it also makes a great cup. Also like the extras that came with it. The only reason I gave it a four is that I use boiling water. Being that it is so well made by putting water that hot the pressure between the 2 layers of steel the bottom pushes out a little and makes it wobble. I use mine daily. A great cup with a great product / the price is right too.

For the most part, this is a durable well made product. However, the plunger can be a problem. I ordered two for use on a field project. One works fine, but the basket fell off the plunger of the 2nd press after a few uses. The threads of the rod seem to have stripped and do not hold the filter basket onto the rod. Really cannot be fixed.
