   I am far from a Espresso Maker Expert which I think makes my opinion relevant. We have limited counter space and the size of the Mixpresso fits right in, it is attractive in appearance and we enjoy experimenting with a variety of coffee so the pod type of machine was not an option. We have used the Mixpresso for about 20 days and as yet not experienced any problems. Some of the reviews complain about a small amount of water left in the filter cup with the grounds after the process is completed. This is not an issue with us, the amount of the water is minimal, the filter is removable and emptied without spilling any of the contents, the holes in the bottom the filter cup have to be so small that I doubt if any of the machines don’t leave a little water with the grounds once the pressure is stopped and the process is complete . I would like to buy more Double Drawer Filter Cups for convince when serving more cups to guests.

   I am used to packing in the coffee and having the coffee come out completely dry after the water percolates down. Not so here and not sure that it means anything. When you remove the filter cup to throw out the spent coffee, the coffee is very muddy, very wet. Otherwise, the machine is pretty and it does indeed make espresso. The ‘warming’ tray at the top doesn’t really do much but it is not a deal-breaker. Most espresso machines come with a carafe or cups and this one doesn’t, but this also is not a deal-breaker. I keep wanting to fill the filter with coffee to the brim, as I have always done with other espresso machines of this type, and really packing down the coffee. With this machine, you musn’t fill the filter past a ‘MAX’ mark. If you do, you will find that you won’t be able to turn the filter to lock it in place.

   It is not too big that it would take up a lot of space.
   Yet not too small for it to look like a cheap item.

   For its price it is perfect!

   You just need to buy Espresso cups so that it could fit where the coffee comes out.
   As regular mugs wont fit!

   I like it takes very little counter space . Living in a tinyhouse every inch matters l. But it is cheaply made. Poorly designed. For example the drip try has a removable screen cover which is nice until you remove it to find the reservoir below is not removable so you have to unplug the unit remove the water tank to empty the overflow or swamp it out with paper towel or dish towel. Definitely would not recommend

   I just got started with this machine and my morning coffee turns out really well. Presentable and tasty. I also like the color which is a change from black, white and silver, mostly.
   Well after 6 weeks of using the frother it broke!!!!

    The coffee, the hot water and the steam that this machine produces have a strong taste of plastic. Also, bad engineering. Once the steam button is turned on the machine pumps lukewarm water (into my jug of milk), then waits several seconds and only then starts producing steam. After the milk has been frothed it doesn’t hold its shape much, collapses soon. And one more thing. After I turn off the steam button I wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth and want to turn it on again for a couple of seconds to let some steam out to clean the wand inside but the button is right above the pouring hot steam. The designers obviously lack common sense. See my photo and video. I am returning this object.

    My husband and I have really been enjoying our lattes. We never had an espresso machine before and are definitely not coffee connoisseurs. It’s small and fits nicely next to our drip coffee maker (for when I’m not awake to make my husbands coffee or for group gatherings). The one major issue we have is that it will run when it’s off and drain the water tank all over your counters and floor if you forget to unplug. Return window is almost up and we may return for that reason. Otherwise we really love it

    I had expensive one and I have cheap one so far for the price less then a hundred dollars this has been ok. It works just fine I get expresso with frothy milk and hot water. Haven’t had an issues with it but it’s new. If it takes a dive it will go over the side but so far it’s working out standing 👍🏻

    After getting the hange of how to use it, I really love it. It’s not the highest quality and sometimes I feel like I’m going to break it when putting it into lock position. But it makes good espresso. Especially with the right beans.

    Me gusto mucho el producto. Buen precio, buen gusto del café, una espuma normal. Me hace juego con el color del resto del área del coffee station. Lo único que no me gusto y nose si es normal o solo lo hace la mía es que cuando comienza a colar a parte de su ruido normal hace como un pitillo fino pero nose si esto sea normal. Espero que eso no sea un problema. Por esto di 4 estrellas y no 5. Por lo demás Perfecto. Agregue una foto de la página 15 del manual pues algunas personas están preguntado la función de la pieza adicional que trae (pipe). Aquí están las indicaciones de para que sirve este pipe. Espero mi comentario les ayude. Una vez más para mi excelente inversión.

    It worked beautifully for 5 days and then didn’t. Water started coming out the steam/water spout every time we would push the button for an espresso which we had the dial turned to, not hot water.

    Buyer beware!! The machine worked well just in the beginning and broke after 3-4 months of normal usage. Now every single time the machine simply turns off in the middle of a brew and sometimes even as soon as it is turned on. It happens for both the single and double cup mode. I know clogging is not a problem as I clean it well after each use. I contacted the company but they did not care to response. I want my money back!

    We fell in love with our new machine! It’s compact, and very fast! It says you have to preheat the machine, but it will still run as soon as turning it on. It also makes the drink very quickly! Really easy to use. It does feel lite and cheaper, but it’s works great and we like it! The milk frother works great, but it can be weird to use on the side. We either lifted the machine a bit or had the machine near a counter edge.

    Four years ago I purchased a De’Longhi espresso maker. That was my dream coffee machine! It ALWAYS made the perfect cup of espresso, with a thick layer of crema on top. I was in espresso heaven!! Just recently, I noticed that it was taking much longer to warm up…then I noticed that there was a leak somewhere, and that the water was pooling near my multi-plug extension cord. Time to replace! However, I noticed that the same machine had doubled in price, making it more than I can afford. After reading LOTS of reviews, I chose this Mixpresso Espresso Maker. My first red flag was how lightweight the machine is. Then I noticed that the portafilter was alarmingly lightweight, and was missing the funnel anatomy of the De’Longhi. What annoyed me the most is that the Mixpresso only pumps less than half the capacity of a tiny espresso cup, then shuts down. You have to run it again, but will still end up with less than a full espresso cup. But the final decision to return was due to the lack of crema. If it doesn’t cover the entire surface of the cup, if it doesn’t have depth, if it doesn’t last, then it isn’t a proper crema. It’s just bubbles. I’ve ordered another De’Longhi. It’s not the same model I had before, but I’m confident that I’ll end up with perfect espresso, perfect crema. But it’s not a pretty machine. If you want countertop bling, buy a Mixpresso. If you want serious espresso, buy a De’Longhi.

    I started on a cheap espresso machine and 6 months later I purchased this one. I have read quite a few reviews stating that people don’t like the frothing wand. My first attempt I had a big mess! The secret is to have a towel under it when you first turn it on because it will spit out a lot of water, when frothing make sure to have the wand in the milk as deep as you can, unlike many others where you just want the tip of the wand in the milk. I use a thermometer and when the temperature on the thermometer is rising quickly you have the wand in correctly. I love that making a cup of coffee is fast and easy. I also love that I can make two cups of coffee at the same time, it saves time and effort.
