   After buying several other brands of coffee maker (eg., Cuisinart) and not finding them satisfactory – particularly for not delivering a hot enough brew – we experienced this brand and model at a time-share we vacationed at. It was so much better, and plenty easy to use, so we bought one online right away. We also loved the red and black color combination, which was a great choice for our decor. Great purchase! It performs wonderfully. There is only one little flaw: sometimes the liquid dribbles a bit while pouring from the spout area. We have had the same experience with other pots so we shrug it off – but moved rating from 5 to 4 due to that little imperfection. We have spent much more on coffee makers but got less satisfactory performance so the value here is excellent!

   I make coffee just two or three times a week but my Mr. Coffee takes a beating. I run my notorious hard water through an AquaSana water purifier before it goes in the coffee machine. That, at least, saves the Mr. Coffee from the toils of the hard water. But, the machine still needs other maintenance. There are actual “cleaning pods” that you place in the water reservoir and run the cycle. This, you do once a month or so, depending how often you make coffee. My last identical model Mr. Coffee lasted over 5 years, but was “gasping for life” toward to end. Instead of going out to Wal-Mart and searching for a comparable replacement (I have to have RED) I went to coffeemakers.us.com and found my exact model! Of course I jumped on it and it was in my kitchen in two days. All in all, I;m most happy with this item and am fortunate it was still available to buy once again. Hopefully, it will last longer than the previous Mr. C; all parts now rinsed with the purified water.

   I love this coffee maker! I appreciate the option of having stronger coffee (on those tough mornings)!or regular strength coffee. So far I’ve tried only the stronger 😆 It does exactly as described! Brews quickly and the flavor of my coffee is great! Easy to operate and it has a beep to let me know that it’s ready. Not too shabby for the price. It’s not fancy but perfect for me! I would recommend this coffee maker! Color is fabulous too!

   It arrived far sooner than advertised. I was pleasantly surprised. Box was damaged (really bad) prior to shipping (they put the damaged box inside a good Walmart box). I opened it to check the damage, there was none. After a thorough cleaning I did 3 leak tests and they came back good, no leaks. So I decided to not return it.

   It’s a great coffee pot do far. I will update this is it fails within a reasonable amount of time.

   IMPORTANT – The previous version (MR COFFEE) of this one was a little less angular and stainless steel in color. Instead of the 45 degree angles in the front they were square. That pot lasted me almost 17 years!!! I tried to find it but it’s not manufactured anymore. This is the closest one to it that I could find. I feel they deserve extra consideration due to this.

   New coffee pots run much faster so I have to put it on stronger cycle for half the pot then I put on regular strength or use more coffee on the latter. My other one I had for many, many years but after 2 weeks of waiting an hour for coffee, I tossed it. I also did clean it regularly as recommended. It was a Mr. Coffee and worked great for a long time. I didn’t mind waiting 15-30 minutes as I had it set to go on in morning as I got ready for work. Anyway, this pot works great! Again, with it being new it’s a lot faster and if you don’t want weak, add more or put it on stronger. Took me a week to get it right! I had to dump a few small pots at first, made small batches, just to get it right. Also, the color isn’t the red I had which i loved as it matched perfectly with kitchen decor. This one is a red/maroon, I do like it though. AND I could have bought at Walmart for half the cost and guess what? It came in a Walmart package! Oh well, I was being lazy vs. going out I ordered online.

   This coffee maker fits nicely under my overhanging cupboards. It is an upgrade from an earlier Mr. Coffee maker that lasted 10 years. This is a similar model but with upgraded features. It makes very good coffee. I bought a flat bottomed mesh coffee filter, and a charcoal water filter for the top. Works like a charm.

    Nothing. It came in a battered beat up box. None of the original packing like plug protector, or any basket. I paid over 36.00 for it and it cost 20.00 to send back. I was credited 26.00. Not right or fair. I sent him pictures of the box when I received it. Bad deal all around!

    This thing is ridiculous. We have hard water in Dallas and this thing handles it like a boss! It’s probably at least 10-12 years old… My parents gave it to me when i moved out in 2014 and they’d already had it a while when i was gifted it. Haven’t had any issues with it whatsoever. We run vinegar through it once every year or so. It handles DAILY coffee making, and has just been overall amazing. The coffee it makes tastes like coffee lol. In the picture i shared, it has vinegar in the carafe, that’s why it looks weird.

    As you can see in photo, drain in bottom of basket is not in the center. This prevents you from re-using basket from other Mr. Coffee models with this one — and the basket in this model is flimsy. What a gyp. Employee who proposed this design change should be fired.

    We recently installed stainless look backsplash in our kitchen and I so wanted a pretty red coffeemaker. Well this one is perfect. I love the color. I ran a couple pots of water through it before I used it as it said to in the directions. My first pot of real coffee was a little odd tasting but it quickly made coffee like I’m used to. I think the hotplate is a little too hot as I think the coffee tastes a tad scorched. Since I only drink 3 cups, I guess I’ll have to drink faster. I think this coffeemaker was well worth the money and I love how pretty it is. I’d recommend it to anyone
