   The on/off switch doesn’t work perfectly. Sometimes it doesn’t snap all the way and the on light doesn’t go on but it is easy to flip it all the way.

   It is a cheap price for a coffee maker that makes coffee well. I would rather buy low priced coffee makers like this one and replace them every couple years with a new looking one rather than have an expensive one get old and ugly and keep using it because I paid so much for it. This one I don’t need to do maintenance; I just replace it with another Mr. Coffee maker and keep the old glass craft container in case the new one breaks and I need a replacement.

   Ive purchased this to replace the exact same coffee maker I’ve had for a year and a half. I’m only replacing because I can’t clean deep into the water tub and I want a fresh clean maker. I’ve had no issues with my pot except for the difficulty cleaning the tank. This is a Simple coffee maker- mine has held up perfectly which is why I’ve purchased it again. I didn’t need any clock or programming- I prefer the basic style. Great coffee maker.

   This is the worst coffee brewer ever made. Obviously, Mr. Coffee doesn’t like their customers and the proof is this machine. The prankster who designed this thought it would be fun to put two holes in the back of the water container so the water would spill out the back onto your counter when you poured water into it if you put more even one drop more then it needs. The second prank is that the swing arm spout that the water comes out of is too short, so the water comes out along the side of the filter holder instead of the center. The result being the since the water only comes out on one side , during the first half of the brewing process, only the coffee on one side of the dispenser gets wet, while the coffee on the other side stays dry. Ultimately, due to the third prank, the coffee on the other side finally gets wet. That third prank is the hole at the bottom of the filter holder is too small, resulting in the holder filling up to the top. This results in water going in-between the filter and the filter holder, carrying floating coffee grounds with it which results in coffee grounds ending up in the pot and ultimately your cup. Lastly, the ‘ON’ is way too dim. It can barely be seen during the day. The fixes would be simple.1). Don’t put holes in the back of the water container. 2). Make the water spout longer so the water sprays into the center of the coffee filter instead of on one side. 3). Make the exit hole bigger so the coffee filter doesn’t get flooded and spill grounds into the pot, 4). Make the ‘ON’ light brighter.

   I can’t believe this two month old coffee maker stopped working already!! The light comes on but that’s all. Where has the quality in the Mr. Coffee’s coffee maker gone. I’m very disappointed that this machine pooped out so soon. No more Mr. Coffee makers for me.

   Makes coffee fine, I don’t like the basket style of coffee brewers as well as the cone style. The design is less space efficient than others I’ve used, I don’t have extra counter space. Niether con nor pro, but the feet on this don’t slide, so if you want to move it you have to pick it up. The overflow holes are about an inch and a half below the top of the well. Best way to add water in poor light is to fill the carafe and pour from there. If you are using bottled water straight in to the well, its likely your going to overflow till you get the hang of it.

   I got this coffee maker to replace the same one we’d had for years when it finally went kaput. This one is exactly the same and I’m a fan. No, it doesn’t have the fancy options of a timer, a clock, or anything. It just has an on and off switch. But that just means it has fewer parts to break. This thing works great, makes good coffee, can make quite a lot of coffee at once if you want, has no defects, and should last forever. It’s easy to clean with some vinegar as often as you like. That’s all I really need from a good coffee maker.

   The Mr. Coffee pot that arrived today is not the same one as in the picture. BEWARE: The one I received does NOT have the cord storage space. See pictures of my old pot and the new one. It was one of the features I looked for, to have the storage space.
