This coffee maker is a great alternative to a Keurig. The operation is super simple – very much like a kcup machine expect you use a small coffee filter and fresh grounds. What is unbelievable is the taste – even using the same type of coffee, the taste is SO much better than the results from a kcup. Plus, I will save money by buying coffee grounds instead of buying kcups and I will lose the guilt of throwing away so many empty pods. The Mr Coffee HotCup is a great find!

We used this coffee a few times and each time it overflowed the oz selected. Upon request for a return and refund I received an email from the seller stating they would only provide a 32% refund and deduct $14 from that for shipping due to being able to resale it as new. As far as I’m concerned the machine is defective and is not resalable. I have emailed the seller back to let this know that this refund “offer” is unacceptable.

Used to enjoy K-cups but got to expensive. Now with this brewer am happy that I get to use my own coffee and have the option of variety of cup sizes. It brews hot and as for the taste it is right on. I have to admit that I add little more coffee than their suggested marking on the supplied scoop. Been using this unit now for several months and am very pleased with it. The water tank holds plenty of water. In fact to truly enjoy a good cup of coffee you obviously need good coffee and fresh water. As I drink couple cups a day the tank is replenished almost every other day. The water spray over the grounds seem to cover and wet all the grounds. Overall am happy and would recommend.

this has to be the worst coffee maker i have ever used – a few things wrong with it-
1- re-usable filters recommended for it don’t fit.
2- most of the time you don’t know how much coffee it will pour, regardless of what you sellect-
3-Worst thing about it is that coffee doesn’t taste that good, can’t even smell the coffee brewing – I have tried a few different brands-types to see if ti had anything to do with it… nothing
it is going in the trash – I am shopping for a new one, will be looking at different brands now

Love this coffee maker! Was looking for a pod free maker because pods aren’t strong enough for me and I like really hot coffee. This is the perfect coffee maker! Nothing fancy just makes a strong hot cup of coffee. Takes about 2 minutes to heat then it brews. The video shows exactly how long it takes from start to finish for the largest cup. I think it’s a great coffee maker!!

While this coffee maker does produce good tasting coffee, it can’t get the volume size right! Even on the smallest setting, it overflows the coffee mug! It didn’t initially have the issue, or we would have returned it. But now, 7 months later, we’re stuck with it.
