I like a nice iced coffee in the morning which is why I ordered this coffee maker. I liked the idea of the separate iced coffee button which so far works as promised. The machine is easy to use, easy to clean and does not take up a lot of counter space. The reason for the 4 star overall rating is due to an unexpected though appreciated extra added charcoal filter and frame included in the package. The filter is 2 1/2” in size, and unfortunately replacements are no where to be found on-line. The larger filters are plentiful, but the smaller not so much. I searched high and low, and called Mr. Coffee twice with little to no satisfaction from either call. I wonder if the inclusion of the filter and frame were a mistake, sad if so because I do think they work well in filtering the water and coffee of excess chlorine etc. The filters would be a great addition to use in the single serve coffee makers that use smaller sized baskets.

I love this machine. It’s a great machine. I have had Keurig brand machines before and I kind of was looking for an alternative because while I like them and the quality is there.. I don’t love the waste of the k-cups. This one it takes a minute to figure out the right ratio of (hot) coffee brew… but it works well for me. This would also be a nice and simple machine for a rental property IMO.
