    No frills, no programmable feature, just good coffee. Because I was drinking more than two cups of coffee every morning, my preference was for a maker with a stainless steel pot that kept coffee reasonably hot, without having to worry about forgetting to shut the coffee maker heating element off. Now that the limit is one-two cups a day, this maker is perfect because the coffee from this glass carafe Mueller has the best flavor of all…and why I kept using this one (which was originally bought as a back up for when my maker with a carafe died since not willing to go without a morning cuppa, so always have an inexpensive backup waiting in the pantry). FYI: I’ve had no mold issues since I made it a practice to remove the grounds, rinse the insert holding a filter, and fully open the lid after pouring the first cup. Later the lid is lowered but kept partially open while stored until next morning. Am writing this review now, after receiving a courtesy email from coffeemakers.us.com re: class action lawsuit. Seems this little gem is not made in Austria at all, despite how it is portrayed in descriptions. Maybe that has something to do with how soon other comments talk about their coffee maker’s stopping performing after a year or two. Don’t know…purchased May 2022, will keep enjoying its great cuppa until its demise, then using the back-up until maybe purchasing this one again.

    I used Mr. coffee for 30 years but bought this on 07/31/21 21 to save $10. Big mistake. At least five times the lid has closed but the basket has not been securely in place. Once you hit brew you have a huge mess on your hands. Coffee grinds go everywhere. Pain in the rear to clean up all the grinds wash down the basket in the actual maker itself along with the counter and floor. Also I am one to just dump the water into the Reservoir. This machine requires someone use a lot more finesse. Seems to leak a lot creating small puddles on my countertop that I have to wipe away later. Daily when I remove the basket to throw out the grinds there is in evitable he a mess on the ground as the grinds are falling out at some point. I use my Dustbuster to wipe it up along with wet wipes. I am throwing in the towel. I don’t know why I missed the price of a mr coffee went up $10-$15 in the last year and tried to buy a replacement pot but that cost more than a new machine. Just bought the black and decker one and hope that based on my positive experience with their products that I don’t have the same issue with this one. I had a Black & Decker toaster oven for 25 years. Let’s hope the same for this Mr. coffee replacement.

    My GE coffeemaker of a few years died. I wanted a similar type drip coffeemaker and hopefully one without the ‘programmable’ options. This is a very well made product, it includes a paperless permanent filter, and a coffee scoop. It comes w. instructions as to how much coffee grounds to use per cup, instructions as to how to clean the maker using inexpensive water/vinegar solution. We made our first few batches of coffee, and this is a GREAT coffeemaker, one that I would highly recommend. The only complaint that I heard was that it didn’t have an automatic shut off: which I would find annoying. So, for me, on a scale of 1 to 10: this is a 10

I took it apart to see where it was leaking from and discovered that the leak is coming from one of the connecting tubes. Included a video in this review to show others where the weak point is since other reviewers mentioned it leaking water. Disappointing product, would not buy again.

    I recently injured my hand and fractured my wrist. My normal coffee prep routine is somewhat involved and requires two hands, so I needed an easy replacement while I heal. This coffee maker is a good value for the money. It works as expected and the coffee is on par with everything you’d expect from a regular drip coffee machine. I had an easy time making the coffee and cleaning up afterwards. Despite the limited range of movement in my swollen left hand, I give it two thumbs up!

    The machine works well and does a great job of brewing 12 cups of coffee. The metal filter works well and allows the coffee grounds to remain in place as the water flows through to flavor the coffee. The filter shelf is easy to clean. The heat is appropriately hot and works very well. The coffee brewer stays on all the time so you must remember to turn it off and unplug it.

    This whole machine was cracked down the middle and across. Added water to it and it literally poured out so fast that it ended up ruining the fresh seal on my new counter top and it shorted out the power strip it was plugged I to and shorted out my refrigerator due to how quickly the water came pouring out. So several issues are now going to be a bigger problem due the amount of water that came out and I had no time to catch it. I now cannot even get my refrigerator to turn back on because of water ruining the power strip it was on even when I use another outlet

It has an auto stop so you can sneak a cup or two halfway through the brewing. It also has a warming plate. It doesn’t have a timer or strength settings but I wouldn’t expect that for what I paid.
