I have three cold brew setups, including this one. This one is the only one that leaks whenever I shake it and it goes on it. side or upside down. Pretty shoddy design and VERY cheap materials. Super thin plastic.
I guess Mueller jumped the shark and is trading on their name instead of consistently good products. They used to be reliable but this product is evidence that they’re not what they used to be. Oh well.

we use this picture to make our cold brew. Usually, we let it steep for three days and it is perfectly black and strong just like we like it. It’s easy to clean and it’s very simple to use. I wish it was a little bigger since we have to brew about three pictures a week, but we bought a regular pitcher to pour it into once it’s ready. This way it doesn’t mess up the cycle and we’re not left without any coffee.

Product not used yet, it’s my first cold-brew unit so for the price and plastic quality (which I’m usually 100% against) it seems like a good place to start. I have arthritis hands and found that it unscrews with a bit more effort than I prefer but not too bad, I expect that is a good thing when speaking about proper liquid containment. I cannot opine regarding the drip/seal/spillage yet. What I can tell you is that the instruction manual states that all parts are dishwasher safe EXCEPT the carafe. Specifically it says “DO NOT”… I tried to anyway because I know me well enough to know I’m not going to hand wash the unit, it didn’t fit in my dishwasher, top rack, so it is soaking on my countertop. Just the carafe is almost 9.5” tall (measure your dishwasher if you are planning on dishwashing it against manufacturer advice). If I end up liking this I’ll buy a more expensive glass one. This seems like a good place to start.

This is the way to go for ice coffee. Great value for the money. We just bought an expensive machine to make fancy ice coffee. I bought this later on a whim because it was inexpensive. I prefer it over the pricey foo foo machine!
