   Really love the Pacific Blue color—such a punchy/poppy blue that lives up to the hype of its name and totally fits that vibe. Most companies these days have more muted colors than bold ones, so this was very refreshing to see. Some other visual notes, is I love the minimal design and the hidden pod disposal bin on the side and the adjustable cup brew stand and sleek water reservoir. Never had a Nespresso machine before, so just did some research online (Reddit + TikTok), which gave much easier, more approachable examples of what can be done than what is included in the box. Their quick start isn’t even the same machine—just a version of it. Overall the whole included paperwork could be more useful. For example, the names of the included pods are Italian-typed names, but little to know detailed explanation to what it even means for your coffee drinking experience. Main downsides is this learning curve here if you’ve never used one—can be a little overwhelming, especially if you just want to go and have no patience. So far we made 2 vanilla lattes (1 diary milk, 1 oat milk) with vanilla cold foam in the included frother machine and our own vanilla syrup. Here’s a super easy iced vanilla latte w/ vanilla cold recipe to get a good first brew (sub any milk/syrups): 1. Use any of the Chiaro pods (double espresso) 2. Add 1/2 oz vanilla syrup to a separate small glass and place under machine and press brew 3. Fill your main drink glass 3/4 full of ice 4. Add 1/4oz vanilla syrup to the frother machine + just enough heavy whipping cream to cover the whisk at the bottom (hold button for 2 sec to start cold froth) 5. Pour your milk of choice into your ice-filled drink glass about 3/4 full 6. Add the freshly brewed coffee into your ice/milk filled drink glass 7. Stir to mix, then top with the vanilla cold foam 8. Enjoy! Once you play around with flavors and recipes a little this should be a super easy way to make fun coffee-based drinks at home and feel like an amateur barista.

   This nespresso coffee machine is fantastic! I love the coffee you can make with it. It produces a much richer coffee than many other coffee makers. I like the rich crema on top of each cup or espresso shot. It comes with a sampler with a variety of coffee pods to try. It also comes with a $30 coupon to use on your next order of 50 or more pods. The machine is super simple to use. It heats up in 30 seconds and takes less than 30 seconds to brew and even less for espresso shots. It is very easy to clean with a simple box for spent pods with a drip tray under it. The front cup tray is easily moved and removed and has a nice two piece design to catch spills. It is also very easy to clean. The design of this machine is top notch. The water container can be filled either on the machine or can be lifted off to fill. It does not leak even when removed with water in it. The only drawback to this machine is the cost of the vertuo coffee pods. They run anywhere from $1-$2.50 per pod. They are proprietary so I have not had any luck finding many at stores. I did find Starbucks brand of just a few different pods at Walmart. The original nespresso pods can be found at lots of stores for less than $0.30 each. I don’t know how the coffee from the original classic nespresso pods compare to the new vertuo pods. The virtuoso pods have a bar code on them that tells the machine how much water to inject and how long to pull the coffee to get each one just right. I have found vertuo pod refill kits on coffeemakers.us.com that are very inexpensive and I have refilled a dozen or so pods. The refills make it much cheaper as it turns out to be only about $0.10 a pod plus the cost of your favorite coffee. You just reuse the aluminum pods over and over. The kits comes with foil seals to reseal the pods. The reloaded pods seem to perform just as well as the preloaded pods. They produce the same crema and I have not had any issues with them leaking or not working. Overall, I highly recommend the nespresso if you are a big coffee fan and like good quality coffee, especially espresso shots. I did not drink much coffee at home until I got my hands on this machine. I love it!

   I had a problem when I plugged the coffee maker in my country because in the manual it says it’s compatible with 220 volts and it’s not.I wrote to Nexpresso and they replied carelessly about it. I have written to coffeemakers.us.com and I am waiting for an answer now. “To whom it may concern, I purchased this product for my business office in Argentina, as I travel to the US once a year and was able to bring it along with me upon my return. Per the manual description, in the attached photo, the coffee maker should be able to be plugged into a 220 v outlet. However, when we tried to use the coffee maker here in my home country, which uses 220 v, the coffee maker burnt right away. Could you kindly explain why this could have happened? If the voltage specifications in the manual are incorrect, what would be the best way to request a refund for this item, since I am currently out of the US? Thank you very much in advance for your attention to this matter and I look forward to hearing back from you very soon.” In the meantime,I am advising everybody not to purchase from this seller.    I used a very generous gift card to buy this set. It comes with a frothed and a box of coffee samplers as well. The frother does both cold and hot frothing. The machine is a dream and easy to maintain. I run a clean cycle with just water each week. This is the best coffee flavors and experience that we’ve ever had. The coffee comes out with thick foam on top extracted from the coffee grounds. This intensifies the flavor. The sample box also includes 3 welcome gifts for subsequent orders just make sure you meet the criteria and keep the codes from the orders.

   I have a full size Nespresso machine that I love but I wanted one for a mini bar in my bedroom since I already have a fridge and a microwave. The color was perfect for my orange themed coffee nook. The machine makes great coffee – can’t tell the difference between it and the big machine. A couple of things – it is really noisy – like some said – sounds like a jet engine taking off. The noise has maybe lessened a little since I got it or I’ve just gotten used to it. If there was someone else in my bedroom, this thing would wake them up for sure but since it’s just me, not an issue. It is harder to open it and close it than my big machine and it takes a fair amount of force which ends up moving the machine. To help with that, I put my coffee stand on a silicone mat with a runner on it to cover it up and that helped with it moving around. Overall I’m pleased with it. I took it on a road trip with me for a week’s stay at a hotel and it made my stay there much nicer. It’s a little heavy so I would not consider it suitcase material but for a car road trip – perfect.

    It arrived the next day, and I’ve been hooked ever since I got it! It comes with some sample coffee pods, which is really helpful oh choosing which ones to order next. It’s so perfect for a smaller kitchen and clean up is a breeze.

    I’ve had another (larger) Nespresso machine, and I love the coffee it makes. This one is smaller and takes up much less room on the counter, but it still makes the full-size cups of coffee. It has Bluetooth capability that communicates with a phone app to notify you of machine status and also provides a convenient way to place orders for more espresso and coffee pods. It comes with 12 pods to make different size espresso or regular size cups of coffee. It also comes with a $30 coupon to start you off with a coffee order of your choosing. I love the blue color as well. It looks great in my kitchen. The water tank is moderate size and holds enough for at least 2 regular size (7.7 oz) cups of coffee. There is an attachment on the front to hold the coffee cup, and it can be set to a higher level for Espresso cups, and a lower level for regular size coffee cups. Tall coffee cups can be used by removing the cupholder and setting it on the counter in front of the machine. I will note that the taller insulated travel coffee cups are too tall to use with this machine. I have included photos of different size mugs in front of the machine, and the mug shelf that is detachable and fits at two different levels. It does make a bit of noise during the active brewing process, but that only lasts about a minute for each cup. You can hear the noise in the video that I uploaded. After a coffee is brewed, when the top is opened again, the previous coffee pod is removed by the machine and shuttled to a storage drawer that you pull out on the left. This storage area for used pods probably holds around five used pods. I have provided photos of the coffee maker and all of the literature that came with it. Also a video of the brewing of the 1st cup. I used a graduated coffee mug so that you can see that this was one of the 7.7 oz (230 ml) coffee pods. Since there is a lot of foam generated during the brewing, the cup needs to be around 10 oz (300 mls) to hold everything for that size pod. After using my old Nespresso machine for the last three years, I will never go back to the other pod style machines or a drip coffee maker. The coffee pods have to be ordered online, but they come in just a couple of days in my experience and it has never been a problem getting enough pods. The coffees are superior quality and delicious. This new machine I am reviewing now is so convenient and small size which I love. I highly recommend this machine.

    Love this coffee machine. The coffee tastes great, the noise level is a little loud however, espresso needs that water pressure. The water capacity is great, as I don’t use this daily. I am trying to reduce my exposure to micro plastics. These Nespresso pods are made of aluminum (read here: Are Nespresso Pods Safe? A Guide to Capsule Coffee Health Risks) These pods are BPA free and have a food grade coating to the aluminum. This machine is great value for the price.

    I have wanted a Nespresso coffee maker for some time and I was so excited when this became available. This set comes with the Nespresso Coffee and Espresso Machine, the Aeroccino Milk Frother, 12 assorted coffee pods, and instruction manuals. The Nespresso Vertuo Pop Coffee and Espresso Machine sets up easily, and the instructions and it’s use are straightforward. Fill the container with clean water, open the top, put in a Nespresso pod, close the lid and move the lever. The machine automatically brews the coffee from small espressos, double shots, to larger coffee drinks, depending on the pod selected. It has auto shut off, the pods are ejected and collected on the side and can be recycled. It makes great coffee with a good amount of crema. It doesn’t take long to brew a cup, but while operating it is noisy. I found the coffee to be delicious and flavorful. The pods are available in a number of cup sizes and flavors. The machine is easy to clean and I note it can be connected to a cellphone. The Aeroccino Milk Frother is also straightforward and easy to operate. What I like about it is it makes an individual serving of frothed milk for my coffee. And, it will also froth oat, soy and almond milk. However, it didn’t froth all the milk, there was a good deal of liquid at the bottom along with the froth. I will experiment with skimmed, 2%, and whole milk to determine which creates the best froth. This set comes with an introductory variety set of 12 pods, with different sizes and strengths, including two decaffeinated pods. I have used several and will continue to experiment with different flavors and strengths. All that said, this machine requires Nespresso pods, which can only be purchased online. They are rather expensive when compared with other coffeemaker systems, ranging in price from around $1.10 each and up. But, when I compare that with coffee shop prices, making my deluxe coffee at home is considerably less expensive. So far I have enjoyed this coffee maker and frother.     Very cute design, really simple to use. Easy to discharge used capsules. The machine ONLY reads the capsule bar codes; other then choosing single, double, long coffee etc., you do not have power to make it shorter or longer.
