While the description states a volume of 5 cups, keep in mind these are tiny 4oz cups. And you don’t even get that.
This is because the filter fits to loosely, which allows coffee grounds to seep into the bowel. Realistically, it is difficult to get one 12oz coffee mug without a bunch of grounds getting into the cup. To get a serving of coffee without grounds, the coffee must be filtered manually.
I am not returning it, because it is a novelty, but for a good cup of coffee, I will get a more conventional coffee brewer.
