    My only complaint is how slow it is but once I got the right amount of coffee & correct grind the Rich setting is exactly what I was looking for. Previous to this purchase I had the one cup version that made the perfect cup of coffee. Needed a coffee maker that made multiple cups so I naturally went with this larger version but it took lots of coffee making to get several cups to taste like that one cupper.

    We bought this coffeemakers.us.com Guaranteed refurbished Ninja coffeemaker to replace our old one since the glass carafe had broken and the digital display went out after a year. PROS: 1. The pieces come apart so they can be thoroughly washed (unlike other brands that will still have dirt and eventually *yikes* mold despite routine descaling according to manufacturer’s instructions. 2. Makes great coffee! 3. Easy to use. 4. Has a timer for scheduled coffee time CONS: 1. This refurbished unit was missing the gold coffee filter and plastic scoop! I subtracted a star for each missing piece. Luckily, we still had the ones from our previous unit so we just transferred them to this one. Check your units carefully for completeness!

    Edit:Just brewed the first pot of coffee this morning and the carafe leaks at the base of the spout/rim. It leaks when you pour. Pretty disappointed with this order. My package arrived in a large cardboard box (to be expected) but inside was another cardboard box that wasn’t labeled. Wasn’t the original manufacturers packaging. I’m missing the owners manual, the serving spoon (pictured is the notch where you hang the serving spoon), and it’s also missing the mesh filter. I’d rather buy from another store and get ALL the pieces for the product 🙁

    Unexpected guests and you need a quick pot of coffee? Well to bad! You can’t get that here; takes 45 minutes to brew a full 12 cup pot of coffee. OH WAIT!? No matter how full you fill it, you’re only going to get 10 cups! I tried both settings before writing this review; classic brew & rich brew. Both only gives me 10 cups of coffee. It also takes about 15 minutes to brew TWO cups! I bought this pot on September 13, 2020 – three weeks shy of a year ago. I do not know what happened and what changed, but for $100 I expected it to last a LOT longer. This has cut out my after work cup of coffee because now my husband and I use all 10 cups it gives me on our morning to go cups (yes, I drink 8 hour old coffee in the evenings….don’t start with me, I’m a cup shy of daily required coffee!) Anyhoo, the removable water reservoir was the reason I chose this one, and I do so love that feature. I even bought a slide out tray for the pot to sit on so that I don’t have to move it out from under the cabinet every time I make coffee. Yes, I’m lazy. But I’m glad I got it because the pot started steaming so badly that I can’t let it brew under my wood cabinets! All in all…great for about six months for mine. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve gotta shop for a new coffee that’s not going to leave me short in the evenings.

    My favorite coffee making machine. Easily programmable and love the feature of being able to press a button to reheat coffee pot after 2 hr shutoff (safety feature). I question the negative reviews because I’ve never had any of those instances. The coffee pot is quiet when brewing, easy to clean, and love the separate water reservoir. My favorite feature which is hard to find…the pot doesn’t leak when I pour my coffee. Thank you Shark!
