   I have to update my review ,originally it was four stars now it’s five stars. I purchased a refurbished one so it didn’t come with an instruction manual or a permanent filter so I had to figure things out as I went along. I’m finding more and more functions that I love. The coffee machine is beautiful and Has many functions. I have learned if you keep the warm button down, it changes the water temperature setting which I love. I like mine on high ,the coffee machine lets you know when it is done brewing .I love the rich dark brew setting. It takes a little longer, but it’s worth it. This is the best coffee machine I have ever bought.also I want to mention one of the main reasons that I bought this coffee machine is because it has a detachable water reservoir that you can take off and clean🥰 the picture shows a permanent filter that I bought separately, just to show you the filter type and shape

   The Ninja DCM201 14 cup coffee maker is, by far, the best coffee maker I’ve used (which numbers about 20 over some 50 years); and why: except for the 60-cup drip urns, I’ve had to “babysit” the coffee makers so the water flow did not overflow the filter — result being, ground in the pot! This NINJA precludes this by PACING the drip flow automatically; hence, no overflow of filter. Other adjustments allow for the best strength and taste for which one could dream. Also, it’s well constructed and replete with user features. Wish I had found this Ninja DCM201 earlier. I’m comfortable ordering more for large parties in lieu of the urn.
   A fabulous coffee maker, and the auto start and brew strength operate perfectly!

   I bought this product because it had the clear water reservoir so it is easy to fill. It also has a lift out feature which makes refilling even easier if you are not near a faucet.
   The area for the grounds filter has an easy lift out feature. The pot it self has a cool locking lid feature to ward off accidents or spills.
   I am quite happy with this purchase.

   Ordered twice first time had ‘ER11’. Second time I ordered it came in a cardboard box with shattered glass. I was unlucky. On the positive side- it looked great, made a good cup of strong coffee.

   Purchased a refurb unit to replace my old Ninja coffee maker. The price was great and seems to work fine. the unit did not include a reusable filter basket (as other reviewers stated)
   The unit looks great on counter and has a good compact footprint. However the brewing process takes about 15 mins (in my expectation is far too long)
   recommendation: Buy it for the aesthetics and if you enjoy the brewing process.
