No frills, easy to use and works great, can’t be beat for the price. Makes 2 large 14oz cups at a time or six 4oz cups. Perfect for loose tea.

This may be a “two cup” coffee maker for some people, but for me it is a “one-cup”. I am disappointed in the quality, as well. And another thing, it was advertised to cost $18.90, but I was charged $25.00, plus shipping. Thought you should know.

I wanted a french press that was reasonably priced and not built on the premise that i may one day want to make 8 cups of coffee….right now. it’s held up to dishwasher, hand washing, and knock overs (knock on wood).

I’ve been thinking about a French press so when I saw this one at TJ Max for under $5, I jumped on it. I’m satisfied. I only had fine ground coffee so I sent that through and it removed all but the finest silt. It is glass so it does recommend using a plastic spoon for stirring purposes, and I wouldn’t recommend dropping it 🙂 It does sit solidly on the counter though and it’s small enough that you can easily hold the unit steady with one hand while pushing the plunger with the other, and I didn’t find it hard at all to push the plunger.
Yes – it is marked for only 10 ounces which isn’t most people’s idea of 2 cups of coffee. I’m using the unit for cold brewing so I make a strong coffee anyway that is watered down with water or milk. If you need slightly more than this will make, you can follow the same concept. Make a stronger brew and then add a little hot water after you’ve poured it into your cups.
