   I purchased my Coffeeboxx from Home Depot through an ebay seller and it arrived sealed and unopened. The coffee maker is a great innovative design and I love the fact that it has a sealed water tank that nothing can get into. I love my Keurig Commercial K-150 coffee maker but the water reservoir has a large opening and a loose fitting lid allowing lint, hair, and anything else to get into the water. Plus it does not have a filter on that model so having a sealed water tank was the big seller for me on this unit. I also like the compact build of the unit and the fact you can close up the cup holder allowing a small foot print on the counter. The thirty minute off cycle is nice as well compared to the two hour cycle of most other coffee makers so it saves power too. And the outside is built like a tank and could be used as a step stool if needed I’m sure. Unfortunately this is where the quality seems to end, on the outside. My unit, and I would love to hear from others on this, does not seem to put out the advertised amount of water. Using an accurate measuring cup, with a correctly filled tank, sealed correctly, with no filter, I am getting two ounces less water for each coffee cup size. This is both the coffee side output and the hot water side output. In other words the 12 oz. button only gives 10 oz. of water, the 10 oz. button only gives out 8 oz. of water and the 8 oz. button only gives out 6 oz. of water. This is not necessarily a deal breaker if the unit will continue to work as I’ve read about others on here but I have concerns if this will start to drop off as it gets older or if it will maintain. Also they must not do very much factory testing of these units to make sure they are putting out the amount of water advertised. For a unit that cost right at two hundred dollars the quality should be inside as well as outside. We’ll see how long it last. As a footnote, I contacted Oxx three days ago both by e-mail and by a phone message, as no one answered, and have yet to hear from them except by a return automated e-mail saying they received my ticket. So product support seems to be continuing to be slow as has been stated by other reviewers.

   For something that is supposed to be durable, it is not. The water holder is plastic and the bottom cracked the first time we dropped it in the slot, water leaks from the bottom. The seller said it is not eligible for return.

   I purchased this locally when I saw it in a store. I had to have the green one as I wanted to give it a try on vacation and was pleasantly surprised. We took this for use on our vacation instead of using the single serve coffee makers in the hotel rooms. The OXX worked great and makes excellent coffee and hot tea. It can even dispense filtered water for a nice cool drink. We even took this camping or glamping as we had electricity but it worked great there as well. We purchased the nylon carry case and I recommend this if your going to be moving it around like we did on vacation makes it way easier to handle and store extra coffee k-cups. Since we returned home we replace our regular coffee maker with this one, its been in service for about a year now and no issues we just change the filter every 90 days as recommended. If your tired of a plain ole looking coffee maker and want one with rugged looks and makes on heck of a hot cup of coffee/tea and can travel with you if needed…get this one you will not be dissapointed.

   Edit: the company replaced the defective unit with a new one and that replacement has now lasted 10 years and it is still going. I haven’t used it a lot, but it still works just like new. I guess my first one was just a fluke. The outside of the coffeeboxx seems to be well thought out and well made. It is the internals of the machine that seem to be made to poor standards. My coffeeboxx only brewed around 10 cups of coffee before the pump completely stopped working. I returned the unit immediately and a month later I still haven’t received a replacement. With an item this expensive I would expect better customer service. I will update my review a few months after I get my replacement and decide if this was just one bad machine or a faulty design.

   This is such an amazing product.. I use this for everyday both at home at work. Being military the has the ruggedness demanded for field use. I don’t have to worry about it being outside and getting wet or knocked of the table, also with its 1500lb crush rating it serves as a jack stand if needed (try doing that with any other coffe pot). The portability with that this offers makes it such a great investment since it will accept any brand single pod or you can use the reusable pod if you have a can of grounds or grind your own. The addition of separate brew and water spouts was ingenious, with this you don’t have to clean out the the pod tray when you just want 190 Degree F water just push the water button. Never again will I use an inferior Keurig..

    I purchased mine direct from the manufacturer to take advantage of the military and summer savings coupon (which is why this doesn’t show as a verified purchase). I’ve been staring at the Facebook ads for this thing all year. Friends keep seeing it and posting it to my wall, sending it to me in email. They know I’m a coffee junky and I spend most of my time on the road so I’m always buying replacement coffee pots. I kept telling myself I didn’t want to shell out $200 for a coffee pot, yet I’ve gone through half a dozen cheaper pots as well as a Keurig that only lasted about 4 months before falling to pieces. I finally decided that we’d just come off a very profitable week and I was going to reward myself. I’m kicking myself for not having done this months ago! I love it! Pictures are attached if you’d like to see it in the real world, as opposed to marketing photos. I love this thing. I have a Keurig at home, and a Keurig for travel. I’d rather have this than BOTH of them! The best thing is it’s brew time. From the time you power it on until it’s ready to brew is a whopping 38 seconds. From the time it says “ready” till it’s done brewing a 10 oz cup was a total of 45 seconds. In literally a minute and twenty seconds you can plug it in and be drinking coffee, even if it was off for hours. That’s pretty cool! I get impatient waiting for my Keurig to brew every single cup we drink on the job site. This unit is fast! I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. My advice – just get one!

    I’ve been using this for many years. ( I believe at least 8 years). The power cord is short, but if it were any longer it wouldn’t retract all the way. Best coffee maker I’ve ever had. I actually bought a spare just in case and it’s in my camping tote. Love these makers.

    As my wife and I have gotten older we don’t drink as much coffee as we used to, plus we’re pretty rough on our small appliances. This single serve coffee maker is the best one we’ve ever purchased, easily set up, easily cleaned. No fuss, no muss. We use only San Francisco Bay K cups due to their being the most recyclabe K cups currently on the market, and that they have a mesh cup instead of a plastic cup to ensure maximum brew saturation with no coffee groun blowout. The Coffeeboxx is rugged, dependable and looks just as good on the counter as it does in the camp site.

    Incredible product! This is probably a better Keurig brewer than most of us have at home, and it makes a true 14-oz cup. The coffee comes out at 198 degrees (In Colorado @ room temp) and is delicious. The box is rock solid and does not appear to leak, even after being bounced around in a off-road vehicle. Although it’s no speed demon at around 3 minutes per cup, we certainly don’t mind this for our camping needs. If you need it to be faster (construction site?), buy more brewers. This was a great upgrade for our Jeep. 🙂

    Everything about this product is top notch. From the minute you open the package you recognize the quality and sturdiness of the product. its well designed and someone really took the time to think of everything. It’s built very tough so its great for the job site, camping, traveling etc. It handles a regular coffee mug up to a large thermos which is a huge plus. A generous water tank means less refills. built in water filter makes for good tasting coffee. the ability of 3 different cup sizes to chose from is a welcomed option. The coffee comes out very hot!. The option to chose hot water only means utilizing this for any hot drink you chose, like tea, hot chocolate. not too mention making food like a cup of noodles or anything that needs hot water. Its intuitive, easy to use and makes a damn good cup of coffee. an added bonus is a self spooling power cord. they really thought of everything. This is better than any Keurig you can purchase and I think the all black model would look great on any kitchen counter.

    I almost never take the time to review something. But it really deserves a stellar review.

    We are contractors by trade and often consider taking our Keurig with us to the job but that would just be silly. And unwieldy. And messy. So when I saw this in the “Stuff We Love” column of The Family Handyman magazine I went right to the OxxBoxx website and knew immediately we had to have one. It arrived yesterday and we love it already. Close the doors & tray and retract the cord and you have a compact, leak-proof little box with no parts sticking out. Just fabulous for carrying around in the work van, no worries about it getting bumped around or knocked over.
    It heats up incredibly fast. Plug it in, turn it on, and in less than a minute it’s ready to brew a cup. Amazing. And it’s ready to brew the next cup just as fast. I give it five star for function, and five stars for form too because it looks as good as it works. It looks rugged and high-tech at the same time; noone would be embarrassed to have this on their jobsite or camping trip or man-cave. (Although, the first thing my husband said was “Bright green? There weren’t any other color choices?”. So maybe OxxBoxx should consider making it available in a few other colors.)

    I cannot find any competition for this device (at least no other portable K-Cup machine with a water reservoir). It seems well made, and is relatively heavy. It works, and quickly… negatives as are follows:
    1. Power cord is TOO SHORT… Only 3 feet. To set on a conference room table, I must bring a 4 or 5 foot extension cord to be able to plug it in. The cord is only long enough to sit it on a relatively low table near the power outlet.
    2. The coffee stops coming out of the unit, prompting people to remove the cup, then 2 or 3 seconds later a significant amount of coffee spews out splashing all over the tray. I’ve had to warn everyone of this fact, and I still have to wash the tray EVERY time I bring it to a conference for others to use.
    3. The coffee sprays out with significant more velocity than my other three K-Cup coffee units. This causes splashes so high that they splash all over the side of the unit…. again necessitating my cleaning of the unit EVERY TIME I use it.

    Awesome product and so happy it takes any kind of k cup. That is very smart business sense in letting the client choose their own beverage. It’s rugged,tough and great for actually having a coffee on the road or off road. The best part is the reservoir which lets us have multiple cups of coffee.We are so glad this was incorporated into the design. This is now our to go machine. It goes everywhere with us. My husband travels for work so he takes it with him everywhere he goes. I wish the cord was a bit longer. We love our OXX so much we bought one for a friend. The OXX company is closed and shut down and no longer available for any of the warranty. Since this was purchased at coffeemakers.us.com I feel that coffeemakers.us.com should honor this product or return my money.

    Excellent portable coffee machine. It’s quiet and doesn’t leak, but cleaning it is a challenge. I ended up using it indoors instead of on construction sites because keeping it clean is a hassle. Otherwise, it’s an excellent coffee maker and works perfectly.
