   **UPDATE: I have changed from 3-star to 5-star. After my complaint, customer service was very responsive and sent me a replacement machine (no charge). The replacement made a hot cup of espresso from cold water so the first machine must have been defective.*** My Everange Portable Espresso Maker arrived intact in adequate packaging. After multiple attempts at deciphering the instructions I finally managed to extract a weak, lukewarm liquid. My second attempt had better results. Still lukewarm, but the machine managed to extract a decent amount of flavor from my grounds. I did not use the capsule feature as my capsule was too tall to fit into the adapter and close properly. (It was a Publix Expresso pod) Finally made a shot using hot water and that came out best. Smooth taste, no bitterness and hot. Although I purchased this for occasional power outages, I’ll be using this at work. Perfect for making a shot of expresso at my desk during that afternoon slump.

   This is a nice compact espresso machine. You are able to get a shot of coffee on the go without needing electricity. The machine uses 2 different pod sizes, NOT regular K-cups, or regular coffee. I used regular coffee, the instructions are not the best, so it took me a minute to figure out how to open the coffee compartment, pull, don’t twist! You add water, press the button, it heats and you get coffee. It’s not the most amazing coffee, but if you need a fix when camping, at the beach, kids sports or work, it hits the spot. Clean-up is easy especially if you use a pod, otherwise you just need any extra minute to clean out the grounds. It is a little noisy when heating the water and extracting so I wouldn’t use this in a library while studying. Overall a decent machine for a coffee fix.

   We needed something for an upcoming trip and this did just the trick! Use fresh grounds or pods! It heats the water for you and holds a great charge. We loved how portable it was and how easy it is to use! It’s also super durable, which is a plus if you tend to drop things!

   This has been a really disappointing purchase and waste of money. This was to replace another portable espresso maker that broke. We use good quality espresso (no pods). The espresso is consistently weak and without any crema. The reservoir for the ground espresso is also very difficult to open.

   very cool and compact device. This compact coffee maker will come in handy at work, on the road, on a hike, on vacation. It makes coffee quickly. You can use capsules or instant coffee. I chose Starbucks capsules for myself. Now my husband wants to take a travel coffee maker on the road so that he can also enjoy delicious coffee, and so that it is compact and easy to use.
