   I thought that I could use this in my kitchen, to save space. Yeah, that’s not really working out for me. This is a good quality machine, and it does what it is supposed to do, but it is a real pain to use and clean. There are so many steps to take to use it, and everything needs to be taken apart and cleaned after you use it. I imagine that this would be wonderful if you were so inclined to having an espresso while you are camping, or hiking, or traveling.

   We have a manual travel espresso machine that we use in a camper van and we also have to take a kettle with us to heat the water. So I got this one to replace those two.

   It takes a bit of time to heat the water if you put cold water in, but it works and you can use ground coffee or capsules. It is also very practical when camping to be able to charge the machine via USBC or the cigarette lighter. The compact design and the operation without electricity make it a good gadget to carry when traveling or camping.

   As for the instructions provided, they are not too clear and it took us a while to understand them. It is however easy to clean if like us you use capsules.

   I like that it comes with a pouch so I can store all the pieces in it. It will be my new espresso machine when travelling in my camper van.

   We either travel a lot or are always on the go weekdays so we wanted to try something portable to make coffee and decided to give this a go. It easily fits in my backpack and purse and isn’t too heavy which allows you to take it anywhere. It holds a charge well, we were able to make several cups off one charge without needing to recharge. Recharging was easy, we just plugged it in overnight although we were able to plug it into the car as well! We used it with coffee powder and it worked well although cleaning was a little bit of a hassle since of course we were out and about. I would like to clean it right away although sometimes we can’t so when I do clean it later in the day, it can be a little harder. Overall it does a good job to give us that little boost whenever we need it, wherever we are and it’s been working well in the 2 months we’ve been using it. It definitely serves its intended purpose!

   I just opened this up to test it out and it has mold in the inside. Very tiny specs in the chamber where you put the water, and much more obvious by the bottom where you’d get your espresso, around where you close it, and elsewhere. I will not test a brand new, supposedly unused machine meant for consumption, that has a mold issue. Who knows what the inside of that thing contains. I am not putting my health at risk for a cup of espresso on the go. As for what I can tell regarding the make, this is definitely lesser quality. I have a different brand and the look, quality, and feel are notably superior and obvious even from just opening the box, with only a $20 price difference. Mostly because of the mold, but also due to the inferior quality, I cannot recommend this product.

    Early on Saturday, we woke up to the crisp air and the sound of birds chirping, and I couldn’t wait to savor a rich, steaming cup of espresso.

    What truly impressed me was the self-heating function that allows you to brew with either cold or hot water. I simply added cold water from the nearby stream, pressed the button, and within moments, I was treated to a robust espresso. The convenience of the compact design meant that it fit easily within my backpack, and at only 2.4 lbs, I barely noticed the weight.

    More importantly, the battery life exceeded my expectations. I brewed several cups without needing to recharge, which was perfect for our two-day trip. Cleaning was a breeze, with the removable parts making it easy to wash after use. This little machine made our outdoor experience much more enjoyable, leaving us energized for our adventures!

    This brewer does what it claims to do.

    You can use small pods, big pods (not K-Cup), or grounds, all three will work.

    This will heat the water. If you use that feature, it drains the battery big time. I find it’s a little better to add hot water, instead of cold. You can brew a bunch of cups that way. However, it is nice that this will brew a hot cup when anywhere.

    Cleaning is easy.

    Operation is easy, but the directions you get suffer from the old ESL translation. Some things are worded so oddly they can be confusing.

    Keep in mind this makes espresso shots. If you are expecting a full blown cup of coffee, you are going to be disappointed.

    Sorry, but this is not for me. It’s not hot enough and it comes out all water down coffee, definitely not an espresso. It stated it’s use small or large coffee capsules, I’m not sure what size large they meant, I got one of those regular coffee pod, it doesn’t fit.
