   This French press works well and is good for travel. I would like it to be bigger. Cleaning it out is a lot of work for such a small amount of coffee. Even for travel it could be bigger.

   Bought it 26 Nov, today, 8 April, the shaft sheared from the cap and became unusable. It is not a durable item. Buy a different brand.

   I love this design because the exterior stainless steel receptacle has a very protective and eye pleasing design from top to bottom. The glass inside is maybe a tad bit thinner than I would like, but it is protected by the stainless steel exterior. I just wish that there wasn’t a black plastic Piece up underneath the lid. I may attempt to remove that as I don’t like to drink any kind of micro plastic sweat with my acidic coffee against it, but the top lid is stainless steel so I may be able to do without that plastic piece. But for the price it’s Good quality and does the job.

   I travel a lot for work and I can’t always rely on the coffee provided by the hotel. This travel French press has just upped my travel game. It is 12 oz, the perfect size cup. It’s double walled so your beverage stays hot, and the press keeps the grounds in the bottom of the mug. The lid has a lock on it so it won’t pop open, and it is leak proof. The first photo shows what the inside of the lid looked like after I shook it upside down. You can see the rubber plug on the lid that keeps the drinking hole sealed. I’ve seen these before, but at a much higher price point. With this, it’ll pay for itself in one trip. Perfect gift for the coffee snob in your life.

   The press works as advertised. However, it did no better or no worse than one priced for less. The pot is insulated but the coffee cooled quickly.

    I can’t use this press because it arrived broken. The whole bottom is smashed with shards of glass everywhere. It is dangerously a hazard to open. I would not buy from this company because of the defective product.
